6 days ever since Evan has found out the truth about his adoption and his real mother; he couldn't handle the stress that was taking over him. Fucking hell why him? Just why? What the fuck did his mom do to deserve this? He didn't know how to react anymore damnit. Taki noticing his behavior as Evan got worse, he isn't energetic to do anything anymore. Zero was just thinking it was one of those days of growing up? He wasn't really sure.
"Hey bud" -Zero
"What...?" -Evan
"What's wrong?" -Zero
"Well I found out the truth..." -Evan
"Truth?" -Zero
Evan then handed the paper to Zero and he looks shocked. This wasn't meant to happen.
"Evan..." -Zero
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!" -Evan
"I didn't think you were ready to handle it!" -Zero
"Well guess what! You were right! Haha... you're always right..." -Evan
Zero then hugs Evan tight. The warmth of his father's body makes Evan feel comfortable and he then hugs back. This was his dad; he knew Zero wasn't his real dad but couldn't deny he was the one who acts as a real father. Zero kisses Evan's head and sits down with him.
"Even if we're not blood.. that doesn't change how I love you.. you're my first child and always will be.." -Zero
"I love you dad.." -Evan
"Love you too bud.." -Zero
Zach, a good friend of Zero's from his childhood. More of a brother if anything. Not blood, but brother in best friend. Finally coming back to his home town since he doesn't have to work for a month as POP Star. He decides to pay his family a surprising visit. He pulls up near the house and snuck up on Taki who was watering her flowers on the lawn.
"BOO!!!" -Zach
Taki screams and smashes a flower pot off Zach's face. Her eyes widen as she realizes what she did.
"Oh my god! Zach! Are you alright?!" -Taki
"I'm fine I'm fine.." -Zach
Taki takes Zach inside where he is then greeted by a hug from Sophie, happy to see her uncle again after 5 months.
"Hey kiddo!" -Zach
"I missed you so much!" -Sophie
"Heh.. I know you did sweets" -Zach
Zero and Evan head downstairs and greet Zach with hugs after not seeing him for a while. They cheer as Zach informs them that he can stay with them for a month. Best fucking night ever. They celebrate with a big dinner and movie night, Evan and Sophie finally happy to see their uncle for a month and he is staying?! Hell yeah! Adults celebrating with liquor while the kids celebrate by taking pictures and posting it online about how lucky they are to have a famous pop star as their uncle. Finally at night, as everyone is asleep. Evan gets a message from Sam. "Sholk brothers are here." Soon, Evan was already dressed and quickly climbs out his window; but Zach saw him through the living room window and saw him put on his mask. The hell? He thought, he quickly woke up Zero and explained what he saw. They get dressed and armed just in case. There's dangerous shit recently so they have to be prepared. They quickly drive and Zach uses his focus ability to track Evan down.
"What if the kid is doing drugs?" -Zach
"Don't say that damnit- I would hope not" -Zero
Meanwhile, Evan is already at an air field with Sam. She tosses Evan a gun and they start firing at the Sholks and gang around them. Gang member bodies dropping dead around. The younger Sholk pulls out a minigun from his truck and started blasting at Evan and Sam as well as gang members.
Sam attempts to shoot at the younger brother but then gets shot in the arm.
"HOLY FUCK AHHH!!!" -Sam
She tosses Evan her other gun. Evan prepares himself and jumps out of cover. The perception of Time in Evan's eyes slow down as he shoots gang members and killing 7 of them and shooting the younger brothers hat off causing him to get cover. Zero and Zach show up and shoot at the gang members.
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING KID?!" -Zach
"I'LL EXPLAIN LATER!!! JUST HELP ME OUT!!!" -Evan
Zero and Zach proceed to shoot at the gang members. Gang members start dropping and fleeing before more die. The Sholk brothers still fighting back. Some gang stayed behind and kept fighting. The younger Sholk brother tries attacking Evan but Sam grabs him and punches him in the face. With only one arm, Sam knocks his shit. He pulls out his knife and slices her stomach. He then quickly punches her in the face and runs off. Evan then killed another gang member and is suddenly knocked to the ground and removed his mask. The slow time in Evan's eyes quickly turns off.
"Dumb move kid..." -Older Sholk brother
As Zero, Zach, and Sam turn, they hear a loud bang from a pistol, the shadow of Evan being shot in the head and blood coming out. The Older Sholk quickly running out of sight.
"NO!!!!" -Zero and Sam
Zero quickly ran to them to see Evan's lifeless body on the floor. Blood pouring out fast from the hole in his head.
"YOU GODDAMN SON OF A BITCH!!! I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU!!! YOU KILLED MY SON!! MY ONLY FUCKING SON YOU PRICKS!!! MY BOY!! I-..." -Zero
Cops arriving fast, Zach grabs Zero and tries to pull him off. Zero takes Evan's body and brings him to the car. Zach grabs Sam and throws her in the car and quickly drives off and saw Swat driving in. Zero cries as he hugs Evan close. He failed goddamnit. He promised Matilda that he would protect Evan but failed.
"It's not your fault!" -Zach
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!!! MY GODDAMN SON IS DEAD!!!!" -Zero
As they reach the house and park the car. Zach holds Sam back as Zero holds his son. Zach and Sam watch as Zero takes Evan's body to the door. To which he is greeted with a worried Taki and as she sees her son's body, she drops everything in horror.
"What the fuck was he doing with you...?" -Zach
"Listen... he wanted to be hero so I wanted to help" -Sam
"Well you did a horrible job you bitch.. my nephew is gone.." -Zach
"I know.. I know.." -Sam
"You don't understand.. that kid is the most important person to Zero and Taki; now they have to sit here and think what they did wrong as parents" -Zach
"I'm sorry..." -Sam
"Sorry's not gonna fucking cut it you bitch.." -Zach
"I know it won't bring him back..." -Sam
Zach then takes Sam out the car where he then proceeds to beat her. Blood on the concrete. Wanting the whore he saw in Sam to be dead. He stops himself and realized this is not what Evan would want. He let go of Sam and told her to just go away.
The next day.
Sophie's notebook.
"My brother's gone damnit. Why the hell would someone do this?! I thought everything was gonna be alright! No, it fucking isn't! He's dead! I should've just said something to mom and dad and he would still be here. I can't stop balling my eyes out right now. I'm crying as I write this. I can't live without my brother. He loved me so much and now he's gone. Without him, I can't do shit. I just know he's in a better peaceful place than this hell. I won't be able to recover from this."
"Sophie!" -Zero
Sophie gets ready, putting on her funeral clothes.
At the funeral
Family and friends of Evan gather around at his funeral. Crying and grieving over the young one's death. Saying their goodbyes to one of the nicest boys who showed kindness and love to all. How could such a bastard take the life of a fucking child? His birthday was few weeks away. Sam was far from them, smoking a cigar as she removes her hat and throws the cigar away. It's all her damn fault she thought. She brought him into this and could've been responsible and pushed Evan away from this nonsense. Why... just fucking why...
