Natalia
Reggie and I walk over to the drink table and get some punch when I am grabbed by my arm. I spin so quickly and almost punch the person in the face,
"Woah chill darling," Marls says and I lower my hand back to my side. In the corner of my eye, I see Sirius tilt his head to the side and Regulus walks over to him.
"Care to fill us in on why you know the Slytherin Prince?" Mary sasses from beside her new Alice and Lily joins them, "Or are you keeping that a secret too?" I wince at the comment but sigh and nod. Dodging people and making our way through the crowd to the back patio before I sigh and turn to face the girls, My girls, I think.
"I didn't mean to keep it a secret," I whisper looking at the ground,
"Which part?" Alice says in a voice full of hurt and doesn't have her normal gentle undertone,
"The part about my parents never came up so why bother with it," I shrug before continuing, "I didn't tell you on purpose because that's what Reg wanted," All sorrow is gone when I talk about Reg because he made me promise not to tell anyone.
"We could have helped," Marlene argues crossing her arms over her chest and everyone agrees including Lily,
"Help me what? Mourn the death of someone who I mourned years ago?" I say sarcastically rolling my eyes,
"Does Black know?" Marls continues to press further,
"No! No one knew! That is how I like it, I don't like the pity looks I'm getting in fact I hate them! People treat you differently when they know," I yell most of it which shocked them and whisper the last bit, "Just promise you won't treat me differently I'm still the same person that was singing Dancing Queen earlier," I joke,
"Are you sure?" Alice asks her tone back to her gentle side I love,
"Yes, I'm sure. None of you change ok? You are just how I need you," I admit and suddenly I'm engulfed in a group hug, "No crying ladies we still have Purebloods to piss off," I say and everyone snaps up with smiles on their faces,
"Yes finally!" Marls yells and runs inside to get in her spot. The other runs after her just as quickly and I run inside and try to spot my favourite werewolf. When I finally spot him in the corner with the other Marauders and Regulus, I run over.
"REMMMMYYYYY!" I yell making all five boys look at me but I'm just looking at Remus who is looking at me with confusion written all over his face, "I have an important question Remus John Lupin," I say seriously looking him dead in the eyes. I see his eyes flick worriedly to the others and then back at me,
"Yes, Lia my favourite friend?" He says worriedly,
"Hey!?" The other 3 call sounding jokingly offended, slowly a smirk overcomes my face,
"Do you Remus John Lupin know the Nutbush?" I ask smiling and Remus lets out a breath he was obviously holding,
"Yeah my dad taught me last year when he came back from Austral-" He starts to answer but I got my answer right at the start. I grab him by his tie, hold it over my shoulder and march towards the girls with a smile on my face when I see Lily whisper the song to the music box.
"What's a nutbush?!" Sirius and James call out after us. I got in the line next to Lily and Remus was beside me,
"What are we doing Lia?" Remit whispers and I just laugh,
"Go along with it pleaseee?" I beg and face him with my puppy eyes that none of my friends could say no to. He lets out a silent laugh and nods just as the Nutbush starts playing. We all dance along after the fourth round Sirius and James join in laughing at each other's mistakes. Soon enough the whole dance floor is covered in Purebloods copying what we are doing. Once the song comes to an end the girls and I walk to the front and bow dramatically before I speak,
"BY THE WAY YOU ALL JUST DANCE TO AN AUSTRALIAN MUGGLE SONG!" I yell and we all run to the punch table to get drinks as a few shouts go out about using a muggle song and there are a fair amount of grumpy faces but also lots of happy ones.
"You Natalia are getting us involved in more trouble than all of our school years," Lily scolds jokingly, If only you knew, I mentally sigh thinking of all the pranks I have pulled.
"Yes, that is me," I say dramatically and we all laugh. We end up talking for a while before I go off in search of Remus and find him in a corner holding a cup of punch and watching people dancing.
"May I have this dance?" I ask joking making Remus' gaze snap toward me,
"I don't do ballroom dancing Lia," He sighs a smile playing on his lips,
"That's too bad cause your dancing," I laugh and pull Remus to the dance floor just as a new song starts.
"One hand goes in my waist the other on my shoulder," I say gently guiding his hands to both places, "Then we glide," I add and start guiding us and watch as Remus slowly grows more confident in his dancing capabilities.
"When did you learn to dance?" He asks as we are moving around the dance floor with everyone else,
"Year 4," I respond and think about the Yule ball and when I went with Draco to piss off the boys because I had started to start going to parties and they thought I was being stupid. To be honest, I remember having a nice night, I think to myself.
"So last year?" He continues and teasingly pokes my waist where I'm ticklish,
"Remmy stop it," I giggle trying to fight him off playfully. After the song, I excuse myself to get some fresh air. When I am about to walk out to the front patio I hear a voice I couldn't forget if I tired.
"I am getting them now!" Banshee lady yells to who must be Orion Sirius and Regulus' father,
"We said they could go to represent the Blacks," He retaliates glaring at her and she glares back,
"No, I said they could go! You don't do anything that revolves around them!" She yells turning and facing Orion,
"Maybe I would if their poor excuse of a mother didn't drive me to the brink of insanity they would have a better life!" He yells and I hear them step onto the patio then an abrupt knock, I guess I was right, I think before reluctantly opening the door to meet their faces.
"Hello Banshee woman and some guy," I answer with a fake and sweet smile,
"Yo-!" Walburga starts before Orion cuts her off,
"Orion Black you will call me Lord Black," He states but I notice the shock in his eyes when I call his wife a banshee,
"Get my sons!" She demands me and I roll my eyes,
"They aren't your son's mothers love and nurture their sons," I sass,
"You bitch get my son's!" She demands again,
"As I stated before Banshee they are not your s-" I feel a hand around my throat and my body being pushed onto the door, as I strangle to breathe.
"It's on bitch," I croak and curl my fist and bring it to her jaw.
Remus
It has been a while and Lia isn't back, I think before setting off to find her friends, looking around the room I spot them by the drink table. Lily and Marlene glaring at a smirking Sirius and James who is messing up his hair. Regulus is behind Sirius looking out of place and Peter is just watching.
"Have any of you seen Lia?" I ask worriedly and that immediately catches all the girls' attention,
"She was with you," Alice answers looking worried,
"She said she wanted some fresh air and I can't find her now," I explain and start rushing dragging everyone to help me look. Myself, the boys, the girls, and Regulus look all over the house and can't find her. We all meet up at the drinks table and we have checked everywhere and can't find her. Lily is on the verge of a panic attack because we can't find her but I can't say I'm much better. Where are you damn it! I yell in my head we all make our way to the front door when we see a sight to shock us all. Regulus and Sirius immediately go pale and the girls all gasp and cover their mouths. James is frozen along with myself and Peter as we watch. Natalia is against the door and Walburga is choking her,
"It's on bitch," she croaks and punches her square in the jaw, Walburga steps back and has a hand over her jaw and fury in her eyes. Lia is released and takes a few breaths before Walburga is shooting curses at her and Lia is ducking and moving to avoid them slowly creeping closer to her. Once she got close enough she snatches the wand and punches her in the stomach then her face,
"How do you like it? Feels weird to be on the receiving end right?" Lia spits venom lacing her words, Lia backs her up against the wall and continues to punch her in the face,
"Stay." Punch, "Away." Punch, "From." Punch, "Them." Punch. She keeps going till the point Walburga is bloody and barely conscious,
"If I hear you lay a single hand on Regulus or Sirius I will not hesitate to do this again!" She threatens just as the bitch passes out. Lia looks to Orion who I didn't realise was there until now,
"Take your wife the boys will be at your house tomorrow," She demands and Orion looks at her warily then picks up Walburga with no care and walks out the door. Lia slams it behind him so hard that the pictures on the walls shake.
"Fucking bitch thinks she can hurt my boys and get away with it! If I wouldn't go to Azkaban that Banshee would be begging for death!" She huffs angrily before she turns around and sees us. Her eyes are a bright red that changes back to her normal pale green before they cloak in on Regulus and Padfoot who are pale as ghosts and are staring at her. She immediately rushes to Regulus who starts sobbing and saying things none of us understand. She sends a smile to Sirius and opens one of her arms which he immediately falls into and he starts sobbing as much as Regulus to my shock. I turn to look at the girls, James, and Peter, I nod to the party and leave with them following so they can have their moment.
