2 hours later and it was nearly 8 o'clock. Everyone who had come to celebrate Momona's birthday were long gone, all except her 11 closest friends.
The boys had all gone to different rooms in the house and changed into pajamas, majority of them just wearing sweats and a t-shirt.
All the girls picked something out of Mo's closet, with the exception of some hoodie stealing from Momona, Delphi, and Leah. Leah stole Aryan's since he's like a brother to her.
Momona, McKenna, Delphi, Leah, and Abby were all in Momona's bathroom, Daniel, Aryan, Walker, Connor, Brady, Javon, and Keith in her bedroom doing whatever.
The girls said they were going to put on face masks, but ended up getting side tracked and were just gossiping while lounging around the bathroom.
Delphi was sitting on the sink, Momona and Leah sitting in the large tub, McKenna and Abby on the edge of it.
Normal things.
"Ooh, so Mo." Kenna says, looking up from her nails and stopping her filing. "Your parents. They're like, completely fine with Daniel? I mean y'all were like, making out in front of everyone."
"Yeah they were oddly chill with it. I know my momma would've flipped out." Leah adds.
"Eh, I guess I'm just old enough for them not to say anything." Momona shrugs. "I am officially 16 after all."
"Ok is this about to become your whole personality?" I joke. "Because I like yours now so..."
"No, but you now what is? You and Walker." Mo turns to grin at me. "Any secret rendezvous lately?"
"Mo, No." I accidentally rhyme. "Well not lately anyways."
"Come again?" Abby blinks dramatically. "If not lately then when?"
Aryan says as he walks into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him as we all stared at him. "When he left."
"What-" McKenna laughs shortly.
"Have you been listening?" Leah asks, making Aryan shake his head.
"No! No, of course not." He denied, making me shoot him a look. "Yeah, ok fine. Maybe. Yes."
"You only get to stay if you put on a face mask." Abby and I say in sync, freaking us both out.
Aryan sighs dramatically, looks at the door, then nods. "Alright let's do this then."
"And that means all of us." Leah brings up, making us laugh sheepishly as we all put the mask on-Kenna putting Aryan's on him.

We all sat back around the bathroom after we put them on, Aryan and I in the giant tub, Mo sitting in the shower, Abby on the counter, and McKenna and Leah on the side of the tub jacuzzi thing.
We continued talking-Aryan joining in perfectly fine- until my phone buzzed.

"Keith just texted me, hold on." I said as Abby asked me a question, opening my phone.

"Walker and Daniel miss us." I tell Mo with a laugh. "I got us 10 more minutes."
"Alright." Kenna nods.
"Funny thing is only one of them is technically either of your guys's boyfriend." Leah sends me a look, making me roll me eyes.
"Ok well technically Walker did ask me to be his girlfriend." I drop with a shrug.
"EXCUSE ME?" Abby shrieks, jumping off the counter as Mo climbs out of the shower.
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?" Mo adds.
"So that's what you were talking about in the airport!" Aryan connects, patting himself on the back.
"YOU KNEW?" McKenna turns to him with a shocked look.
"WHY'D YOU SAY NO?" Leah shouts at me, shaking my shoulders.
"Will you stop shaking me, you psycho!" I laugh, removing her hands from my shoulders.
"Will you explain what the hell happened at the airport?" Abby crosses her arms as she sits in the jacuzzi tub thing with Aryan and I.
"Preach." Mo comments as she sits in the tub as well, shocking me with the amount of that could fit.
"I need some popcorn, what the hell." McKenna comments as she sits between Mo and Aryan in the tub.
I'm shocked again and once more as Leah climbs into the tub too, all 6 of us somehow fitting inside.
"Where the fuck did you get this tub Momona?" I ask in confusion. "No normal bathtub is this big."
"It has to have been meant as a damn hot tub." McKenna laughs as she too notices the size of the tub in question.
"Um, yeah. I have no clue." Momona shrugs. "Don't change the subject."
"Right, Delphi Marigold Reynolds, spill." Aryan orders.
"Pipe down, Simhadri. You should've spilled when you found out." Abby glared at him.
"I didn't know!" He defends. "I only saw them talking and the kiss I didn't HEAR anything!"
"PAUSE WHAT?" Leah giggles.
"Not the first time." I roll my eyes. "Now can I speak?"
"Right, sorry, go ahead." Kenna says, shushing everyone else.
"Ok so basically after you all left, Walker and I were talking and we were hugging, ok. But then he started crying cause he didn't want to go, and then I started crying. So after that I told him to come back in one piece cause Greenblatt will fuck his head up, duh. And then he laughed and pulled away and asked me if I'd be his girlfriend already and I said no then he kissed me and left." I say quickly.
"Why would he kiss you if you said no?"
"Why would you say no!?"
"Did he look back at you or anything?"
"He just left?"
"I thought he'd give you a better kiss goodbye."
"How could he just leave after that?"
"One at a time, holy Hades." I laughed.
"Why would he kiss you if you said no?" McKenna starts.
"Because he was leaving and he always tries to get me to kiss him so he just wanted one since he couldn't have any for a while, I don't know." I shrug.
"Seems like you know." Abby laughs. "How could he just leave after that though?"
"He had one minute till his plane was boarding, he had to." I remind them.
"Did he look back?" Momona asks.
"Yeah, of course he did." I answer immediately.
"I really thought he'd give you a better goodbye kiss." Aryan mutters.
"Oh be quiet Aryan, it was cute." Leah tells him with a laugh.
"I will revoke your jacket privileges." Aryan rolls his eyes.
"You're a bad brother-friend if you do." Leah shoots back jokingly, making him surrender.
"So then, last question.." Leah turns back to me. "Why did you say no? After everything?"
"I guess I was nervous." I answer. "I mean, he was leaving, there we were right next to his terminal when he asked. But he was literally about to leave for 4 months, and I don't want that to be the beginning of our relationship, you know?"
"That makes sense, yeah." Abby nods.
"But I also just didn't want to be strictly FaceTimes and calls and texting. I don't want to be online. I want to be with him if I'm with him. I haven't had a serious relationship, literally had one boyfriend in 6th grade because I thought he was cute." I laugh.
"I had to say no because if by the time he comes back, he doesn't like me anymore, then I save myself from a long distance breakup. If I'm gonna date him I'm gonna date him. Hangouts, holding hands, hugs, movie nights, dates, kisses." I finish.
"You really have a way with words." Walker voices from the sink, winking at me before leaving the bathroom.
"Oh my god!" Momona bursts out laughing, her and Leah leaning on each other for support as they die of laughter in the giant bath, me holding my head in my hands as I contemplate life.
