Helloooo lovely readers! Thanks so much for making it to the last chapter of my random self-indulgent mess.
I'm bookmarking my favorite Enhypen fics, so if you ever need new fic recommendations, hopefully I'll have one for you if you're curious! I'm currently on the hunt and will be bookmarking my faves as I go along. I tend to like slow burn fics with a lot of fluff and eventual smut, so those are probably going to be the types I save. Also, if you happen to have recommendations for me, I'd love to read them bc I'm absolutely starrrrrrrving!!! Lol

The weeks following Jay and Jungwon's life-changing vacation go by smoothly. Even with their busy schedules, the new couple has much more alone time together than either of them would have predicted. It's not always easy, but they make it work.
Right now, Jungwon is recording vocals. The recording studio is complete with a soundproof booth that attaches to a greater room complete with a couch, fuzzy rug, table, blanket, and of course, all sorts of music production gear on a large desk.
Enhypen's producer is sitting at said desk, overseeing Jungwon's recordings. When the group usually makes a new song, the members go to the studio one by one, taking turns recording their parts. But today, Jay stayed back to watch Jungwon. He was previously lounging on the couch, scrolling on his phone, and occasionally giving Jungwon a thumbs-up through the glass. Now, Jay is dead asleep, laying flat on his back with a blanket pulled over his whole body, tucked just below his chin. Jungwon can't help but smile every time he looks at the older boy. His Jay hyung is so cute when he sleeps, looking all serious and pouty.
Jungwon can't help but feel a sense of "I-Told-You-So" towards Jay. He knew Jay was tired and told him to go back to the dorms, insisted that the older boy look after his health, but Jay was insistent on being here. His reasoning was simple:
"I like being around you," he had said.
And that was that.
Jay is always like this–so straightforward with his wants and desires. It simultaneously impresses Jungwon and warms his heart.
Jungwon finishes recording about an hour later. His phone indicates that it's already past midnight. He leaves the booth and shuffles over to Jay. Gently, he shakes the older boy awake.
The way Jay wakes up is funny to Jungwon. Jay always inhales sharply, brows furrowing, and squints around the room, almost as if wondering where he is.
Jay's eyes land on Jungwon, and his confused face shifts into a relaxed one.
"Good to see you, Jungwonnie," he yawns, gingerly sitting up.
Jungwon exhales happily through his nose. "You saw me all day, hyung," he smiles.
Jay chuckles. He reaches his hand out, fingers gently playing with Jungwon's smaller ones.
"I know," he hums.
Then Jungwon and Jay thank the producer before heading back to the dorms.

Everyone is already asleep when Jungwon and Jay get home. They take a lengthy shower together, and it's nearly two in the morning by the time Jungwon limps down the hallway and towards his bedroom.
Jay catches the younger boy's wrist, pulling him in for another kiss.
Jungwon melts into Jay's mouth, curling his hands in the front of Jay's sleepshirt.
"Goodnight, Jay hyung," he murmurs against the older boy's lips.
Jay nudges Jungwon's cheek with his nose. Softly, he inhales Jungwon's clean scent.
After a moment, he pulls back and gazes down fondly at the younger boy. He smooths Jungwon's damp bangs away from his eyes.
"I miss being able to sleep with you, Won-ah," he says.
Jungwon blinks, confused. "What were we just doing in the shower?"
"No, not that," Jay chuckles. "I mean sleep with you in my arms. Like we did on vacation."
Jungwon sighs, pouting a little.
"Me too," he agrees.
Jay runs a hand down Jungwon's spine.
"Why don't you come stay in my bed tonight, hm?"
Jungwon chews on his lip for a moment, considering. Then he shakes his head.
"I don't want the members to know about us," he says.
Jay nods, understanding but still bummed. They've had this conversation before. Jay is fine with all of Enhypen knowing that he and Jungwon are dating, but he obviously respects Jungwon's wishes.
"I get it, baby. But don't you think they'll find out sooner or later?" Jay asks.
Jungwon shifts, tilting his head to the side. His glittering cat-eyes meet Jay's.
With a small smile, he says, "Ahh, I don't wanna think about it." Jungwon can't open that can of worms. The very thought of dealing with the members knowing about his relationship with Jay stresses him out. Though Jay assures him that everything will be fine, Jungwon's constant hum of anxiety says otherwise.
"But seriously," Jungwon continues, "How do you think they could find out? We've been super secretive."
Jay hums. Then his lips quirk up in a small grin.
"I plan on loving you for the rest of my life, Jungwon-ah. So they're bound to find out someday," he says simply.
Jungwon's breath hitches. His heart flutters.
"For the rest of your life?" Jungwon repeats, shocked.
Jay nods as if it's the most obvious thing in the world. "Of course."
"Oh," is Jungwon's small response. He fidgets for a moment, blushing bright pink.
Then Jungwon kisses Jay fiercely , knocking the older boy against the wall. Jay smiles into the kiss, snaking his arms around the younger boy's waist, but Jungwon pulls away, frantic.
"Shit!" he whisper-shouts. He didn't mean to push Jay into the wall. It made an obnoxiously loud sound, possibly waking up the rest of the members. "Do you think anyone heard that?"
Jay shakes his head and reassures Jungwon, "No, no, everyone's probably dead asleep."
Then Jungwon takes a deep breath and nods. He looks down at his feet, sad.
Jay's heart breaks at the sight. He knows that Jungwon deals with a lot of stress during their schedules, and he hates that their relationship is one of their worries.
Gently, Jay cups Jungwon's cheek. He presses a chaste kiss to his forehead.
"It'll be okay, Jungwonnie," he murmurs. "I promise."
Jungwon nuzzles his face into Jay's neck and sighs.
"I know," he mumbles.
For a moment, the boys embrace in the quiet hallway. When they finally break apart, Jungwon offers Jay a dejected, "Goodnight, hyung," and shuffles towards his door.
But before Jungwon can enter his room, the door to Jay's room flies open. Jake, having just woken up, stares at his bandmates through sleepy eyes.
"For fuck's sake, you guys, everyone knows you're dating," he hisses, half annoyed, half playful. "Now get in here and cuddle in Jay's bed instead of being so fucking loud in the hallway."
Jungwon's worries dissipate in an instant. Yeah, they'll be okay. Because they're Jungwon and Jay, and things are meant to be that way.

I'm thinking about writing some more Enha fics. Writing really helps me practice my English, lol! The fics will probably be jaywon or sunsun–I don't think I could get a relatively accurate grasp on the dynamics between any other Enha ships.
I wanna write more but my thoughts are all over the place. Like, what do I even write about–-the omegaverse? zombie apocalypse? just a regular college au? More canon compliance (i think this is more up my alley, but i'm running out of ideas)?!!?! Ahhhh I also wanna practice writing more smut because why not lollll
Please give me any story suggestions you might have! If you have ideas you're willing to share, I beg of you, let me know in the comments. If I feel like I can do your prompt justice, then I might write a story based on it!
