"hey" Maisie smiled as she turned her head to see a lando awake
"hey" Lando smiled back "great sleep?"
"yeah and you?"
"same"
After a few more minutes in the bed they both got up. They then went downstairs and saw that nobody was awake so they decided as good friends to buy the breakfast for their friends and themselves.
Luckily, there was a small bakery right next to the AirBnb.
"it's really pretty out here"
"yeah i agree. Today we have to visit a bit"
"definitely!" Maisie exclaimed before entering the bakery, Lando right behind her. They ordered takeaways for breakfast and headed back to the airbnb where their friends were still sleeping.
But it gave them time to prepare the breakfast and by 'prepare' they meant pour the orange juice in the glasses and put the food on a tray on the table.
"lando shut up you are going to wake them up"
"we're supposed to wake them up so it doesn't matter"
"i know but we can wake them up in a more nice way"
"okay okay sorry isie"
"i hate you so much" Maisie said as she turned towards him so they were now facing each other
"you love me so much"
"nop, but maybe in your dreams"
"sure of yourself?"
"definitel-" She didn't even finished her sentence that she remarked the look on his face and she knew what it meant so she ran around the worktop so they were not close from each other, "no norris you are not doing this"
"yes i'am" He said, and ran around the worktop so he could catch her, but as she did the same to avoid him they were now opposite of each other with the worktop separating them.
And Lando looked at her again but Maisie immediately understood it and they basically began to run to each other, he tried to catch her, she tried to avoid him and it went well for her until he unfortunately caught her with his hands carefully placed on her hips.
"so you hate me huh" The man said with a small smile when he saw the effect he had on her right now
"well i think there's only one way to find out" The woman innocently said but with an idea behind her head that the man perfectly understood so just after she finished pronouncing the sentence he leaned in ready to kiss her but unfortunately they were interrupted by someone entering the kitchen.. Obviously causing them both to quickly move away from each other
"oops- i think i'm bothering" Noah spoke as he looked at them with a knowing look and a teasing smile
"no you are not, i'm going to wake up the others anyway!"
"right.."
"shut up" Maisie said as she hit his arm before leaving the kitchen to go upstairs and wake her friends up.
After some minutes of insisting they woke up and went downstairs direction the kitchen to eat the breakfast.
"okay so what are we doing today?" Maria questioned the whole group
"petra and i are having a date day"
"we have a date? all day?" The concerned asked as she turned her gaze to her boyfriend
"yes we do"
"so i'm again being the third wheel?"
"two third wheel then" Noah commented as a sigh escaped from his mouth
"it's not like Lando and I are annoying together" Maisie commented hearing the exaggeration of her brother
"excuse me? you two are always too lovey-dovey, giggling and talking in a too cute way"
"i'll take that as a compliment. Thank you Ria" Lando ironically smiled and the girl just rolled her eyes
"okay whatever.. What are we doing then?" Noah questioned, he was going back to England in a day he needed to do something before leaving.
"i don't know honestly? we'll see. We can just go outside and see what happens"
So they all agreed to that and once they all finished eating they went to do their things, get ready..
So as they were all getting ready to got out Lando and Maisie were in their room. The girl was applying her mascara and the boy just finished getting ready so he approached the girl. She saw him through the reflection of the mirror so she put down her mascara and turned towards him with a clear questioning look on her face until he placed both of his hands on her hips. Like this morning.
And as always, it provoked something in the young woman.
"i was about to do something this morning but someone interrupted us so.."
"You should do what you were going to do earlier then." She spoke with a grin and her boyfriend did not waited one more second to crash his lips on hers.
He pulled her closer to him not leaving space between them as she brought her hands up to his cheeks and as she ran her thumbs over them. After some long seconds they pulled away staring at each other and like always of course these stupid smiles printed on their faces
"yeah okay i maybe don't actually hate you" Maisie broke the silence earning a small laugh from Lando
"yeah i thought so"
The girl smiled before turning back towards the mirror to apply the mascara on her left lashes.
"and also you look good" She commented talking to Lando of course
"i know"
"your ego is too big"
"maybe.. Thanks though" He smiled at her, with a dazzling look, "and you look really beautiful"
"thank you!" She replied, glad that he liked her look right now and she then went to pick her purse so they could finally get out with the others.
And honestly they didn't do anything very interesting, just discovered the city a bit as they walked around..
LATER...
As they were in a sort of 'park' and there was an ice cream vendor MARIA and NOAH suggested to buy ice creams and MAISIE and LANDO obviously agreed so the couple was now alone waiting for them.
"i'm going to the restroom quickly take my bag please" Lando told to Maisie as he handed her the bag he was carrying
"okay, i'll wait there then"
"thanks"
So it was now just Maisie waiting.
Until a random man approached her and she didn't even talked to him that she knew he was going to be annoying.
"hello"
"hello?" The girl asked, maybe he wasn't going to be annoying? maybe he just wanted to know a direction or an informative?
The man looked like about her age, maybe a bit older. He was blond, with an emerging blond-ginger beard and he was quit tall.
"how a beautiful woman like that is alone here?"
"i'm not alone, i'm with my boyfriend"
"yeah i'm sure about that" The man chuckled and then looked at her with a grin on this face before beginning to introduce himself?
Maisie just sighed. She wasn't in the mood to deal with this right now so she let him talk not even really listening to him until he touched her shoulder.
"so what about a date?"
"what the fu- no and don't touch me" She said clearly astonished, who is even this man?? Why would he touch her shoulder like that and who would even say yes to go on a date with a complete stranger??
"come on, you don't have to lie. I can see it, I know you probably like me already and it makes sense honestly" He said with an arrogant-confident (too confident) smile that annoyed the girl more than anything right now
"you don't see clearly then because no i don't like you and you should go away"
"you're trying to play the hard-to-get mystery girl?"
Right now Maisie just wanted to slap him so he could go away and stop bothering her and she felt just uncomfortable with his persistence. She needed Lando right now and as she watched the toilet door for the hundredth time she finally saw her boyfriend coming out. She gave him an urgent look as she widened her eyes meaning that he should join her right now.
He luckily understood her and quickly walked to her. As he arrived next to her he placed his arms around her shoulders and looked at the man in front of them who looked not confused but mostly surprised-shocked, he probably recognized the racing driver.
"oh i didn't know she had a boyfriend and that it was Lando Norris!"
"you didn't know right.." Lando scoffed, he already was annoyed and Maisie could see it, "so her being next to the men's restroom and with two bags did not rang a bell in your head?" He questioned clearly sarcastically but the stranger didn't replied so Lando sighed before grabbing his bag and his girlfriend's hand so they could walk out of there.
"you're okay?"
"yeah he was just pretty annoying and too confident" Maisie said with a small chuckle at the end of her sentence, "and you you're okay?"
"yes i'm okay. Like you said he was pretty annoying and i don't like when annoying men or just men talk to you"
"jealous?"
"maybe "
"i'll take that as a yes" The girl escaped a laugh which Lando returned
"if you want to but it doesn't mean that it's true" He talked, (even though it was kinda true) and he knew that she wasn't going to listen to him anyway, "now we should join Maria and Noah"
"yes but i don't where is the vendor of ice cream is"
"he is somewhere here"
"it's really helping us thank you"
"you're welcome"
Maisie sighed, clearly desperate but they kept searching for Maria and Noah to finally find them! When they arrived they just got the ice creams so immediatly they ate them on their way back to the AirBnb.
Later in the evening...
MAISIE, LANDO, MARIA and NOAH arrived back at the AirBnB a while ago since it was already the end of the evening and same for MAX and PETRA. As a dinner they all just ordered something and ate watching a random thing on TV.
Once their dinner finished the whole group stayed together until they decided that it was late enough to go to sleep so they all went to their rooms.
And so logically Maisie and Lando were now in their room, sitting next to each other but both using their phones until the girl called him, earning all this attention.
"okay um, i don't know if i already told you but at the end of August it's my dad's birthday and my mom organizes a meal with some of my aunts, uncles and everything and so Noah told me that i was invited. I didn't wanted to go at first but i decided to go just for my dad" She began to explain as she nervously played with her bracelet, "and i was wondering if you could come with me? to meet my family and also i know i'm going to need you but if you-"
"yeah of course i'll come"
"thank you" Maisie gave him a small smile before adding something else, "but i have a aunt that is exactly like my mom and i don't know what they are going to say or do but promise me you won't hate me after"
"you're serious?" Lando asked and seeing that she looked at him seriously he talked again, "they're not you, i don't care about what they say and come on you know i can not hate you"
"okay.. so i guess you will meet my family at the end of the month"
"yeah"
Lando never had a problem with the fact that Maisie met his family months ago but that he didn't met her family yet because he knew she had some problems with her mom and everything but he was glad to be able to meet them. He was actually looking forward too even though a part of him was a bit scared of what is going to happen.
"and now i think that we should watch a movie" Lando suggested finding it a good idea before going to sleep because he wasn't that tired anymore
"great idea. What do you want to watch?"
"whatever you want"
"okay!"
Maisie then took her laptop and opened Netlix to search in her list for a movie. After some minutes she finally found one so she clicked on it, correctly placed her laptop on the bed so they both could see well the screen and last thing she placed her head on her boyfriend's shoulder.
But as the movie continued the girl eventually fell alseep..
Lando did not noticed it directly but once he did a smile spread across his face because of the cuteness of his girlfriend just in front of him. She seemed like she was peacefully sleeping. He took a quick picture with his phone, turned off her laptop and tried to carefully arrange her position so that she could sleep more comfortably and then he fell asleep next to her..
