This Chapter has a "major" time skip it starts with the end of Season 1 Episode 13 The Ambergris Element it has a tiny mention of Season 1 Episode 15 The Eye of the Beholder, a minor mention of Season 2 Episode 1 The Pirates of Orion, a tiny mention of Season 2 Episode 3 The Practical Joker and the last episode of the Animated Series Season 2 Episode 6 The Counter-Clock Incident
Anansa explained to Bones that even though she followed Spock and Kirk down into the water when the creature took the shuttle she lost the creature who was a much faster than she is and knows the "terrain" better "don't blame yourself for this besides if it wasn't for you it probably would have taken us days to find them and you found them in a matter of hours" Bones tells her then he goes into the room where Kirk and Spock are "standing" inside a aquarium Anansa helped him and Scotty build for them Anansa walks into the room when Bones says "medical examinations show and unidentified substance in the bloodstream has affected their entire metabolism and changed them into water-breathers their internal structure is completely transformed, and even their eyes are covered with a transparent film like the second eyelid of a fish so far all efforts to return them to normal have failed we're stumped, Jim the hormone seems to be the major factor in your mutation, but we just can't identify it" Kirk replies "are you sure the mutation wasn't somehow accomplished naturally?" Bones says "it was infused into your bodies at key structural points it had to be done by injection" the men in the room turn to look at Anansa as she says "whatever whoever did saved your life and the creatures of this particular sea as well as it's many other mysteries are unknown to us so no he wouldn't have any idea how to cure you for whatever was used must be from this planet" Bone says "whatever was done to you is highly sophisticated" Spock replies "that implies there are intelligent life forms on Argo" Bones says "the sensors don't indicate any life forms down there, aside from fish" Anansa says "did you ever think that the people who lived on the land may have also been transformed at one point!? so perhaps you should be looking for fish" Spock raises his eyebrow at her "the sensors didn't know about our Loch Ness Monster" she points out "this is true though perhaps the readings are incomplete, blocked by underwater pressure forces oceans are less turbulent at greater depth such conditions would be more suitable to intelligent forms" Spock says "that is true and I'm betting the Captain would like to explore those greater depths" she replies Kirk grins as Bones says "it's too risky Argo's almost totally unexplored they'd be out of contact range, unarmed" she replies "what is it you humans say "what is life without a little risk"!? and if you recall Bones I am telepathically linked to Spock and even though we are not linked I can still speak with Kirk telepathically if need be so if they or we need to inform one or the other of anything it can go through me so having me around would be like having your own sonar, besides the tank is too confining and they'd both hate living in there for too long especially since you wouldn't let me decorate it!" Kirk chuckles then says "I can't command a ship from inside an aquarium, right now we have only two choices live in an aquarium somewhere for the rest of our lives or stay on Argo I won't accept either one of them an intelligence that can produce this kind of mutation can change us back we've got to find it, Bones it must be there" Bones looks at Spock who was reaching for Anansa with sad lonely eyes so he knew Spock was going to go with Kirk so at least he wouldn't be alone and would hopefully have a better chance of survival because of it so he gives in and the 5 of them head for the surface then Spock and Kirk swim into the ocean while Scotty, Anansa and a few other officers wait in a speed boat known as a scouter-gig on the surface of the water for them to return Spock of course gave Anansa a farewell kiss that promised he would return to her and not let her go to her "other choices" before diving into the water and the last thing he saw before he reached the water was her smile which made him very happy.... while dealing with the Aquans Spock hears Anansa say into his mind "there's a Sea Quake heading your way within the next four hours and according to Bones the sensors say it's a "bad one" with complete topography changes" and he warns the Aquans of it but since he is a air-breather they do not believe him and send him and Kirk to the surface and net them onto the rocks.... sensing that Spock and Kirk are once again in danger Anansa starts the boat and speeds towards where she sensed that they are she finds a beautiful green skinned sea-being trying to pull a net off them and stops the boat then jumps off help her "and here I thought females were suppose to be the damsels in distress and the males the white knight!" Anansa teases Kirk chocks out a chuckle as she and the seawoman help him and Spock back into the water and Kirk introduces Anansa to the seawoman named Rila and knowing that the Vulcan she loves was not believed when he told Rila and her people about the Sea Quake Anansa tells her herself "there are legends of such a happening it destroyed the ancient knowledge and caused the great surface places to sink into the sea" Spock says unphased/unaffected by the fact he was not believed when he told her and her people "that suggests your race evolved from its ancient enemies" Rila replies "we did not evolve, Mr. Spock when the surface places began to sink, many air-breathers were mutated through Surgo-op, just as you were as the centuries passed, the mutations became hereditary" Kirk says "strange that such a highly developed race would be violent" Spock replies "apparently they were exposed to a frightening geological disaster such hardship induces savagery and violence" Anansa adds "people also fear things they do not understand and people who do not look like them" Rila says "they hunted and killed us we feared they would contaminate us with their violence that is also why it is forbidden to mutate back to surface forms" Kirk says "then reverse mutation is possible" Rila replies "there are legends of sealed places in the sunken ruins where many knowledge records of it are kept" Anansa asks as the first quake is felt "can you take Spock and James there!? or at least get them close to where it is and we could go the rest of the way on their own" Rila seems to become afraid and replies "I cannot take you to the ruins it is against ordainments" Kirk tells her "it's important, Rila not just for us the population of another planet is threatened by surface changes, too Argo's ancient knowledge can help save them" Rila seems to recall the last part of what Anansa said and says "yes I will take you as far as the reef barrier" Anansa slides her fingers over Spock's he looks at her and kisses her lips then follows Rila and Kirk to the reef barrier and Anansa swims back up to the boat and Scotty helps her back onto it....
When back aboard the Enterprise Anansa helps Bones look through the papers Spock and Kirk found "if the universal translator is right, the substance in your bloodstream is similar to the ambergris of Earth whales reverse mutation is induced by infusion of an antitoxin, concentrated doses of it" Bones says as he reads one of the scrolls which had been translated to English "what's the composition of the antitoxin, Bones?" Kirk who is back in the aquarium asks "the venom of our Loch Ness Monster which is actually called a Sur-Snake" Anansa replies with a smile he returns her smile with one of his own.... Kirk and Spock once again dive underwater a few minutes later hoping to get the Aquans help to capture the Sur-Snake so they can retrieve some of its venom to create a cure for their mutation which the Aquans do indeed help them with even if it was just to "finally" get rid of them and when they return Anansa and Bones work together to create a antitoxin from the venom they were able to get "this may hurt a bit" Anansa says as she gives Kirk his first injection "thanks a lot!" Kirk replies "you're welcome" she says with a smile as he chuckles then falls into her arms as he becomes unconscious she hugs him as he groans in pain once the webbing inbetween his fingers disappears she gives him the next injection the webbing returns to his fingers and his body gains scales and a fin and she swims up to the surface of the tank as soon as they disappear "Scotty" she calls out softly and Scotty rushes over to where she is and pulls Kirk up once she knows he has him she swims back down and gives Spock his injections and the same thing happens to him.... the Enterprise helps the Aquans save their home and they gain a "new" one as well for part of the land that was lost in the sea had come back up to the surface when the Enterprise had diverted the quakes and they learn that the younger Aquans wish to live upon it the elders promise to make a ordainment to not lose contact with each other like their ancestors....
Stardate 5501.2 Season 1 Episode 15 The Eye of the Beholder
Anansa was working in the Transporter Room preparing to beam Kirk, Spock and Bones back to the Enterprise when a large sluglike creature appears in their place she chuckles then says "someone's been quite naughty! come on I'll give you a tour" the slug follows her she takes it to the Bridge and Scotty stares at her with a raised eyebrow "it's just a child who has a lot to learn and I figured I could show him the library" she tells him he nods "he speaks telepathically but in a way that's too fast for me to fully understand so complete communication is tough" she adds as she walks over to Spock's station with the sluglike creature and shows it how to use the computers library then tells it once it has finished reading everything within it "perhaps we should take you back home your parents must be worried about you and I'm sure you miss them as well" the sluglike creature becomes sad then follows her back out of the Bridge and to the Transporter Room where she sends it back home the same way it came "he certainly was a cutie but too much trouble to be kept here and from what I understand they get quite huge" she tells Scotty who had followed them he groans she chuckles a few minutes later the two of them beam Kirk, Bones, Spock and three members of the USS Ariel's crew up to the Enterprise....
Stardate 6334.1 Season 2 Episode 1 Pirates of Orion
In fear of losing Spock when he suffers from a virus known as Choriocytosis Anansa does something she's never done before and heals him despite the fact the one thing that can save him was being brought to them "I refuse to lose you and you hate not being able to fulfill your duty to your fullest potential! yes I know the drug that can save your life is "on it's way" but a million things could happen between then and now" she tells him when he tries to tell her not to worry she leans forward and kisses his lips healing him as she does so and he slides his hand up her cheek and into her hair they hear a tray clatter onto the floor then Christine gasp in shock and Bones mutter with a heavy sigh in his tone "it's about damn time!" Anansa teases "well it looks like I'm no longer allowed in Sickbay!" Bones just about shouts "like hell you aren't!" Spock bursts out laughing "please excuse him my kisses make him delirious" Anansa tells Bones who chuckles Spock rolls his eyes with a smile she kisses his lips once more then leaves the room and he follows and they both head to their assigned places well his is assigned hers is as usual rather random for she is technically off duty though they no longer needed the drug Kirk pretends that they do when they "meet" the Orion's who stole it and end up arresting the Captain and his crew for stealing what was never theirs to begin with....
Stardate 3183.3 Season 2 Episode 3 The Practical Joker
Anansa decided to use up some of her Shore Leave and visit Spock's parents on Vulcan with her own parents who also went to Vulcan on the ship her and the Enterprise crew made them so they could see her since they knew she'd never come back to Megas-Tu without Spock who is dutybound to Starfleet and his people during this time Spock and the Enterprise crew was dealing with the ships computer that had "a nervous breakdown" after flying through a energy field and started pulling practical jokes on the crew until they went back through the energy field after that the computer was back to normal when Anansa comes back to the Enterprise she goes in search of Spock who was off duty and finds him in their quarters she rushes over to him and says with a soft sigh in her tone as she hugs him "it's been far too long!" he replies "indeed" she looks at him and he kisses her lips then makes love to her it starts off slow with just a kiss and some Vulcan Finger Touches then they strip one another of their clothes, lay on their bed and show each other just how much they missed one another taking turns being on top as he thrusts into her as hard, fast and deep yet gently as he possibly could even though she could match him strength for strength there was something magical about being gentle while being rough at the same time and her moans oh her beautifully soft mellifluous moans....
Stardate 6770.3 Season 2 Episode 6 The Counter-Clock Incident
The Enterprise had the honor of transporting the very first Captain of that very ship turned Commodore and Ambassador-at-Large who has reached his mandatory retirement age and his wife to Babel to celebrate his retirement with all Starfleet's Ambassadors while taking them there they witness the Beta Niobe Supernova they catch a ship which was traveling faster then their ship can and heading in their direction first Kirk orders a evasive maneuver to be used so it doesn't collide with them then once they see it's true course is the heart of the Supernova itself thinking that whoever is in the ship is in danger Kirk orders to have the ship be caught by the Enterprise's Tractor Beam when the Captain of the ship is shown on the Viewscreen those on the Bridge find out that she is speaking English backwards and that her ship is pulling the Enterprise into the Supernova with it when Kirk orders that the Tractor Beam be released Sulu couldn't follow the order for the controls would not respond no matter what they tried to do they couldn't let the other ship go everyone was shocked to find that even though the ship felt a little turbulence they were all still alive "Spock, what's going on!?!" Anansa asks softly as she walks onto the Bridge Spock looks over at her from his station as she looks at the Viewscreen and says softly "now we're inside the mirror" Spock raises a curious eyebrow at her and Kirk chuckles for he remembered how she explained the Mirror Universe when they along with Uhura, Scotty and Bones were sent to it he could also see what she meant for everything did seem backwards there the "void" is white and the stars are black not to mention though they knew it was going forward the ship seemed to be flying backward also the controls, the clock aka chronometer are running backwards and the Capellan flower Sarah April was holding was reblooming after almost dying just before they entered the Supernova.... the flower itself only has a few hour lifespan.... and though they may not know it yet it wasn't just the flower that was blooming backwards but the people on the ship were also becoming younger as the seconds fly by soon many of them will be nothing but children some even babies depending on their age "well everyone seems ok so I'm going back to work" Anansa says then she leaves the Bridge Kirk chuckles.... the Captian of the Vessel they had attached to their Tractor Beam "sacrificed" her own ship to help the Enterprise return back home as they try to recreate the same effect that made them pass into her Anti-Matter Universe Anansa returns to the Bridge to help everyone out for even though she is also getting younger she has retained the knowledge she has learned throughout the years Spock raises his eyebrow as a teenage Anansa walks onto the Bridge she rolls her eyes with a smile at him "where would you like me Captain?!" she asks Kirk looks at her with wide eyes "at Star's station it is" she says Uhura chuckles then moves out of her way and Spock takes over Sulu's station and when Kirk becomes too young and starts to forget his Captain duties Anansa suggests that Robert April should take command and the Commodore agrees and with him in Command and his wife watching over all the children they make it back home to their universe and without a word Anansa takes Spock's hand then says "come on everyone let's play a game of follow the leader and so that no one gets left behind we will take one anothers hand and lead each other to the destination" Robert smiles as he watches her lead them to the Turbolift and waves her tail in front of the motion sensor that opens the door then hears her say as the doors shut "Transporter Room 2 please".... a few minutes later everyone was back to their normal age "you are the most beautiful sight I have ever seen!" Spock says softly to Anansa once he is back to his original age "a Vulcan getting all mushy! I think that requires a trip to Sick Bay so Christine can give you a check up!" she replies everyone laughs as Spock raises his eyebrow at her and smiles
