Rosabella's Pov
I woke up in a car and l was on the back seat while in the front seemed to be a man and l woman initially l was confused of how l got here but now l understand
My mother did this to me ,my biological mother gave me away without any second thought, she chose her other daughter over me but why did l expect anything less who would ever choose a broken , skinny and ugly girl like me over anyone
I was a fool to think that maybe if l found my biological father then he love me after all if the woman who gave birth to me didn't want me then how could my father want me
The good thing about all this is that l know that the man and woman who abused me all my life are not related to me ,the people who ruined me and destroyed my whole life are just strangers who were paid to keep me and l don't blame them for not liking me ,they probably didn't know what their real daughter was going through then how could they treat me fairly
I silently cried as the man and woman drove to God knows where and they probably hadn't noticed that l was awake
I always wished that one day l could be love but l was never destined for that as well ,my mother had left no stone unturned to make sure l never received love and even though she said that she was protecting me l am never going to forgive her for this
I don't want to be protected all l want is to be loved is that too much to ask for
The man stopped the car at some building which l think is probably their house and the woman ran inside
"I am sorry kid ,l really have nothing against you but a man's got to do whatever it takes to survive you know" he was probably talking to me but all l wanted was to be left in my thoughts and be alone
I was still ignoring the man who was busy talking about how the money was too good to miss when l suddenly saw a few man surrounding the car
They forcefully bragged the man outside but instead of being afraid l hoped that they would just kill me so that l didn't have to go through the pain of rejecting anymore
"Hey princess" l heard a familiar voice ,the nice man who had came to visit me in the hospital with his family
"What are you doing here"l asked confused
"Let's not talk about this here princess" he said as he carried me out of the car to another one
The man kept driving and to be honest l was confused as to what was going on
"Who are you" l asked because l needed answers
"All in due time princess, patience is a virtue" he said chuckling
"Forgive me for asking the man who kidnapped me who he is " l sarcastically whispered hoping he wouldn't hear me but as always luck wasn't on my side
"I heard that " he said still looking ahead while driving
Something about this man though made me feel safe and he hasn't hurt me since he met me so l was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt
"How about you tell me how you got out of the hospital or should l say who took you from the hospital" he said looking ahead
Even though l gave this man the benefit of the doubt l still couldn't trust him with my family secrets
"How about you tell me why you kidnapped me" l said diverting the conversation so that he wouldn't continue questioning me
"Don't change the subject princess" he said ,l liked the way he called me princess but deep down l knew that l was not a princess
"I am not a princess" l mumbled
"But to me you are and the most beautiful one l've ever met" he said and a tear slid down my cheek
This man had no idea what l had been through or what names l had been called but despite that he gave me something no one has ever given me
Love
I saw it in his eyes when he said that l was a princess to him and it instantly put a smile on my face
I wish l could stay with this man forever though l know it was not possible but he made me happy in the short amount of time l had known him for but he had a family of his own
"What's on your mind" he asked
"Nothing " l lied looking through the window wishing the pain would just go away
Why can't l be like other kids with mother's and father's who love them, why l can't l be happy, why do l have to suffer, why am l not enough, why do l have to be rejected again and again
Why can't l just be loved
