This book is about a young woman named Asia, who is currently in college, running into a handsome young man named Malik, under unfortunate circumstances.
However, this young man seems to be involved in some activities that the young woman doesn't know about. He tries his best to keep her in the dark, while protecting her from incoming dangers.
For some reason, he never felt so protective over a woman before, especially a normal citizen.
He gave up on trying to leave the hood ever since his mother died. She was his only motivation at the time.
But how will Asia react once she finds out the activities Malik is involved in?
Will Malik decide to beat the streets? Is he capable of beating the streets?
