Tally
I dropped Esme off at the elementary center before rushing to homeroom. I bump into a pale skinned black haired girl. She was rude and weird. She invited me to join her but something was telling me to leave so I did.
I barely make it into homeroom and see Mila. She waves me over, and I sit down sighing.
“Girl what happened?”
“I didn't realize how far the elementary center is from homeroom. I also had a run-in with a student”
“Oh who” she wonders, looking excited.
“I didn't get their names. One was taller, pale, black, and smooth hair. The other was blonde she didn't say much, and the last one was brown hair.”
Mila's mood suddenly dropped.
“What?”
“That's Sasha White, daughter of Snow White and her minions Ally Wonder and Megan Magusanus. The whole group are full of themselves, but I suspect that Sasha is the focal point. They rule the school by bullying people.”
“Do they bully you guys?”
“They bullied me and Dizzy. Celia sticks up for us, and so do the boys. They don't put up for her crap”
“-” I was going to say something, but then the bell rang.
“See you at book club” she says before leaving.
I walk to my classes. Auradonian history is pretty fast and interesting. Then I have Virtues and Value with Miss Godmother
“Hi everyone, we have a new student. Would you like to introduce yourself?”
“Uh Hi, I'm Tally Westergaard.”
“Why don't you say a fun fact about yourself” giving me an encouraging smile.
“I like to cook”
“Fun” she smiles.
I learned that this class used to be Remedial Goodness 101, but they changed it to Virtues and Values. It's also a mix of VKs and Auradonians. There is Remedial Goodness 101, and Remedial Goodness 102 are requirements, so I don't really have any of the group in my class.
“If you find a lost child, do you a) sacrifice it? b) kidnapp it? c) trick it? or d) help it?”
There are only 7 of us, and there are 2 separate rows of tables. There is a mixture of Auradonians and VKs. But of the 7, there is one girl that raises her hand. You can tell though that she raises her hand in every class. The one whose arm might numb from lack of circulation when her arm's upright.
“Uh Ramona, I'll let you get the next one. Tally, what do you think?”
Let me think this is really tough. Seriously though, it's d. I should know.
“D?” I ‘guessed’.
“Correct, great job”
Algebra II I have Ash and Azzy, Lunch I have Dizzy and Ash, Biology I have Celia, Literature I have Mila and then cooking.
Like every other class, I walk in, and the teacher comes over to introduce themselves,
“Hello dearie, my name is Mrs. Potts,”
“ Hi”
Another woman comes up to me “Hi I'm Mrs. Anna. Everyone, this is our new student, Tally. You can take a seat next to Vera”
So this is Ash's mom. One of my father's enemies. I'm actually meeting her.
I nod and walk over to the cooking spot and sit next to a girl with brown hair.
“Hi, I'm Vera.”
“Tally”
“So boys and girls, today we will be making something a little harder than the previous weeks. We'll be making homemade ice cream.” Mrs. Anna explains,
She shows us and walks us through how to make the ice cream before we try on our own.
“That's it, guys! Now for the flavors”
We use all real ingredients, so she said we can use any ingredients.
I grab some fruit and some dark chocolate, making mine sweet.
*ring*
The school bell rings, so I meet Mila up to go to bookclub.
“T!”
“Mila!”
We happily exclaim.
“Are you ready for bookclub?”
“Yes, oh uh-where’s the teacher I need to give her my slip”
Mila guides me towards the door and when we walk in. The teacher is sitting on the desk talking,
“So what did you guys think about Macbeth”
“Oh it was terrible” a guy says.
“No it was so good” another girl defends.
“Ahem-”
The teacher turns and gives me a big smile,
“Oh hi! You must be the new student. Tallulah, right?”
“Yeah, but everyone calls me Tally.”
“Well welcome to bookclub. Im Mrs. Thatch. Mila honey, do you want Tally to sit next to you?”
“Sure” Mila smiles, “Oh and Tally has a pass to leave 10 minutes early”
“Okay” Mrs. Thatch smiles.
We walk to the desks, and I whispher to Mila,
“She seems really nice”
“Yeah, that's my mom”
Ahh, that makes sense.
The period flies by really fast, and before I knew it, Mrs. Thatch looks over to me and says,
“Tally honey, don't you have to leave soon?”
I look up and look at the clock at 2:50 pm
“Oh uh yeah, thanks”
With that, I pick up my backpack and leave to pick up Esme.
Esme
“Alright class, it's time for pick up so everyone grab your bag” Mrs. Tiana says.
I pick up my bag and walk out into the hallway with the rest of the class. One by one, students leave before it's the 4 of us left.
I then see my Mama’s familiar red hair.
“Mama!” I beam starting to run to her, but Mrs. Tiana speaks up,
“Esme sweetheart, stay here, please. I don't want you to run off”
I stop I my tracks and walk back to her,
“Thank you.”
Mama walks closer until I run the 2 steps to jump in her arms. She's really strong.
“Hi honey, how was your day?”
“Good, I did mafth and I draw.”
“Wow it's lovely. Are you ready to go?”
“Yeah-oh and Lizzy, Yasmine, Warren and I want to have a play date..”
“Well I'm going to need their information before anything happens, okay bub-”
“ Hi, are you Esme’s mom” Lizzy's mom asks.
My turns around with me on her hip.
“Uh-yeah, I am”
“Oh well, I'm Melissa. Nice to meet you”
“Tally, and you too.”
Then all my friends’ parents come over too.
“Josh Reid, Yasmine's father”
“Hi”
“And I am Quinn Warren's mom”
“Well we were thinking about getting the kids together tomorrow afternoon. Esme is welcome to join, Warren has just been having the best time”
“Oh my Lizzy too, her friends are all she can talk about.”
“Well I have school, but I think I can make that work”
“Perfect”
Ally
“Sasha you won’t believe what I found”
“Well spit it out”
“Her name is Tally Westergaard, and she has a daughter who is 7 years old and they're from the Isle.”
“Oh, a villain with a kid. I wonder who let them into the school. I guess they take anyone now. And to think my mom said this was the best school” she scoffs.
