This is an AU, so some things will be different. Leone and Jun are still canon, so are Tatsumi and Akame. But who's Jin partner? Read the story.

Twas the days before Christmas, and all though Night Raid, not a creature was stirring, to the delight of a man under shade. His name was Jin Tengoku, or Terminus as they say, but towards Christmas, the guy would almost be blurting-
Jin: No way!
Leone: But Jun, come on! We'd love it if you'd join me and Johnny, Jimmy!
Jin: Don't call me Jimmy! Leave!
The happy half animal couple did with a sigh, as they walked out the door being forced to comply. He much preferred to stay in his lab doing experiments and science, because of his hatred of Christmas, yes, one hatred that's intense. However, this guy wasn't alone, since he had one friend he had always known.
Jin: Chelsea. Chelsea? Chelsea?!
Chelsea: I'm coming!
A red haired girl runs up to her friend with a smile on her face and wearing headphones.
Chelsea: So anyway, there's no missions on the docket, but we both need to go out into town and get food. Come on!
Jin: Do I have to?
Chelsea: Yeah. We've both been in charge of the science part of Night Raid, so we go out the least, but if we're doing chores, the least we can do is go every month.
Jin: *sigh* Alright.
The black haired wolf puts on his coat, and goes out with his friend, but the city was themed for Christmas, a holiday he hated to no end. Jin had 2 reasons why he hated this special day, his heart was corrupted by dark, and an event this time put Christmas love away.

In the Capitol, him and Chelsea were looking over the declarations galore, but to Chelsea they were interesting, to Jin they were a bore. When Jin saw people try to put up Christmas lights, he grinned wickedly and a plan in motion. He reached with a sword which cut the lights, and caused lots of emotion.
Jin: Heh.
Chelsea: Sorry!
Carolers: 🎶 We wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas, and a happy new year. We wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas, and a happy new year.
Chelsea clapped as they kept on caroling, but Jin grabbed some glass and a blade, and made a scraping sound which Chelsea didn't hear, but made all the carolers run away in fear.
Jin: Ha take that!
Chelsea: No need to make them go scat.
As the two went into the grocery store, Jin walked inside to cause some chaos, yes, he wanted more. First up he took all he free samples so it won't be eaten by some kook, but they tasted horrible and he started to-
Jin: Not so fast.

Once Jin puked it into the garbage can, he started taking food out of bags and eating it. When someone tried to get a jar, Jin offered to get it.
Civilian: Thanks.
But Jin wasn't in the mood, and placed it on a higher shelf.
Civilian: How rude.
He pulls out a slingshot and the shelf breaks, but Chelsea grabs the jar and gives it to the civilian.
Civilian: Thank you, miss.
Chelsea: You're welcome.

Meanwhile, Sheele was currently carrying a bunch of bags around and found her boss asleep on her throne.
Sheele: Are you ok, boss?
Najenda: No, I'm fine. Tatsumi and Akame are currently working with some seasonal allies to kill unlearning Scrooges. Because if spirits can't change them, they die.
Sheele: Ok. I got gifts for everyone. From Mine to Jun.
Najenda: Ok. And where are Jin and Chelsea?
They appear by dark portal and they have multiple bags of groceries in hand.
Jin: Here. Merry Christmas.
He heads to his lab and Sheele attempts to follow him and Chelsea.
Sheele: You forgot to write down what you want for Christmas.
Jin: That's cause I hate it. And anyone who even pushes the holiday around.
Sheele: But t's the happiest time of year.
He just heads into the laboratory and shuts the door as Chelsea rubs her neck and says why.
Chelsea: It's kind of a long story.

Flashback
Years ago, during Christmas, Jin and Jun were among a group of school students in heaven's learning center. Jin and Jin then walked for a while until they got to school.
Jun: I can't wait for Christmas! But today, it's time for Secret Santa!
Jin: Yeah!
They then arrive in Class, and after a bit of learning, they then gave out the gifts towards their friends. Jin's secret Santa was a girl named Kristina.
Jin: Kristina, merry Christmas.
She opens her gift and it was a makeup kit for her which she loves.
Kristina: Thank you, Jin!
Jun: Now, where's your secret Santa?
Kristina: I'm pretty sure it was Homer.
Homer then runs to his locker to grab something and after a while, he gave him a sculpture of food wrappers and garbage to Jin.
Homer: Merry Christmas.
Jin: Thanks.
Kristina: That's your gift to Jin?!
Jun: How selfish, Homer!
Homer: Hey, you're calling me selfish? Look at Jin! He never talks to anyone and he doesn't even help out in group projects!
Jin: It's ok. I like it.
Homer: Oh, thanks Jin!
Devil Student: Who's selfish?
Homer: Uh, Uh, Jin! He hated my sculpture!
Devil: How rude!
Devil 2: Loser!
Student: Hater!
Jin got called multiple names and kept his head down as Jun and Kristina dragged him out and the sculpture collapsed and they started heckling Jin more.
Jun: I'm sorry, Jin. How could Homer do something like that during Christmas?!
Kristina: Yeah!
Jin: It's fine, just leave me alone.
Jun: But bro-
Jin: Please?
He nods and Jin runs off crying as his heart began to shrink inside of him, and the entire class laughed at Jin while Jun and Kristina were feeling sorry for Jin.

Chelsea: And that's what happened.
Najenda: Humiliated during Christmas.
Akame: How despicable.
Sheele: No wonder he hates Christmas.
Chelsea: But he's very private about it.
Mine: Why would anyone hate Christmas? You get free presents and don't do work all day!
Chelsea: Did you listen to anything that I said?
Mine: Why would I? It's about Jin.
Chelsea: I'll head back to the lab.

As Chelsea headed back to the lab to see Jin, he was finishing a serum as he saw his partner come in. She gave him a pat on the back to cheer him up, and also hot cocoa put in a cup.
Jin: Ugh. All done. The next medical potion. Now what's next?
Chelsea: We're going to the highest point to see the tree lighting.
The werewolf put on a coat and reluctantly left his lab, as he was forced to walk up a mountain without any animals to stab.
Jin: The faster we get up the mountain, the faster I can get it over with.
Sheele: Hey....wait for me.
Suddenly, as the purple haired girl rushed to the group, she tripped and turned herself into a snowball and began to loop and loop.
Mine: Sheele!
Tatsumi: Someone needs to save her from crashing down!
Najenda: Can anyone fly?
Jun: And I don't have my stone lying around!
Jin begins to keep going but Chelsea grabbed his arm and said "If you don't help, you're getting a throwing."
Jin: Alright.
The werewolf then got out something to help out Sheele, it was his stone: the Mark of Hell. He blasted a fire to melt out the girl, and once she got out, she was dizzy and about to hurl.
Tatsumi: Jin! You did it!
Mine: You saved Sheele!
Chelsea: You're awesome, Jin!
Jun: And all's well that ends well!
They cheered for Jin but little did they know, this reminded him of that very Christmas in which his hatred started to grow. They kept going up towards the top and then they begin to see, the biggest amount of lights in the Capitol's City.
Sayo: Man, this is awesome.
Ieyasu: You said it.
Tatsumi: And spending it with friends, I have no regrets.
As Jin began to try and get someone to share it with, everyone ignored him again, no matter what he did or what he said. This made him mad and reminded him why, he'll always hate Christmas til the day he died. The group then went back to their hideout to rest, while Jin still had a hatred of Christmas burning deep in his chest.

Once they got back Sheele and Lubbock started laying out traps, Najenda wanted to ask them "What is that?"
Sheele: Traps for Santa.
Lubbock: Once that Jolly Fat Man comes inside, he'll be caught. Why?
Sheele: Because I really want to ask him a favor. A secret one.
Najenda: Well then make sure the perimeter is covered in traps. Not only could Santa come, but also any other assassins.
As they made traps for the man who came one a year, little did they know their Christmas end was coming near.
Jin: (What should I do? Teleport their stuff? No, Jun would know. Burn it? No. Aha! I have the perfect idea! But I'll need Chelsea's help.)

Chelsea: You want me to do what?
Jin: I want you to help me make a candy that would transform me into Santa for a whole day. As a surprise.
Chelsea: Why would I do that?
Jin: Hey, you owe me for taking all those lollipops from the corrupt candy CEO Martin Stetson. And I mean all of them, to a hidden area and even set up traps in case anyone, *cough* Mine, tried to steal them.
Chelsea: Oh yeah. Ok. Might as well help you with everything then. But just so we're even.

As Chelsea made the candy, Jin analyzed the whole hideout, so he could prepare his Christmas Stealing Route.
Jin: Ok Chelsea, so the volcano is all the way above that mountain?
Chelsea: Mmm hmm. You're gonna need to walk up there though since the portal isn't as good in daylight.
Jin: Ok. And the traps, I can luckily just faze through with darkness power.
Chelsea: Now, let's test out this candy!
Jin: First, one more thing.
And as Jin prepared to eat the candy, with an evil thought in his head, he knew it was going to happen and that Christmas would be-
Jin: Ruined.
Again?
Jin: Just don't rhyme.
Alright.
She gives him the Santa candy, and he chews it and swallows it. Then, he starts to gain whiter hair, more weight, and a jollier voice.
Jin: Hohoho! Merry Christmas!
Chelsea: And I made a chocolate antidote.
He eats he chocolate in one bite, and he turns back to his regular half wolf self.
Chelsea: Now, you go ahead and rob Christmas or whatever, and I'll keep it secret.
Jin: Thanks Chelsea. You remind me a lot about Kristina when she was still around heaven. But she moved to a faraway spot and no longer went to school where I went.
He runs out and prepares to rob all of Christmas while Sheele placed down presents, traps, and prepared to sleep but also catch Santa.

As Jin ate his candy and walked in the dark, he began to steal multiple items from his "friends" to make his mark. Their food, weapons, light, sweets, goodies and toys. And he didn't care about any of them. Not the 6 girls, or the 6 boys. Before he left, he saw the fireplace burning bright, and he knew he had one last thing to stop the Raid of Night.
Jin: Well, as the wolf says, I'll huff and puff, and blow the flame away.
He does just that, and sets off a trap, but wakes up a purple haired girl from their nap. Jin was blown away and his foot was in a rope, and he was hanging in the air which in his plan was a total nope.
Sheele: Santa?
She puts on her glasses, and rushes downstairs, where she met the man with a jolly laugh, red clothes and white hair.
Sheele: Santa? I'm sorry. Just let me get my scissors to cut you down.
The purple haired girl runs to grab Exstase, and cuts him down, not knowing what he'd do tomorrow or today.
Sheele: Anyway, I came to ask you for one simple favor.
Jin: What is it?
Sheele: Wait, why are you stealing our presents?
Jin: (Aw crud. Better lie well, and fast.) One of the toys was broken so I'm going back to the North Pole to fix it.
Sheele: Oh. Ok. But can I ask you for one thing?
Jin: Sure. What present?
Sheele: Well, I don't want a present. It's for a friend.
Jin: What do they want?
Sheele: It's for Jin. I want him to be happy.
This shocked the misanthropic werewolf to his core. He was seen as antisocial, with Chelsea, Leone and Jun being his only friends, but someone like Sheele wanting him to be happy, it was surprising.
Jin: Uh, *ahem* don't worry. He will be. I promise.
Sheele: Thank you, Santa. Tell him to come or at the very least listen to our songs. They say Christmas songs can rid your soul of hatred and anything negative.
Jin: Oh. Ok. I promise.
She leaves back upstairs as Jin then grabs their stuff and runs up Night Raid's hill. He ran and ran until he got to he top, and soon, as sunlight came, he arrived at the peak of the mountain. Then, he saw what Night Raid was up to at the bottom.

Mine: Where's my presents?!
Akame: And our food?!
Ieyasu: 2 weeks of planning, gone!
Sayo: Calm down, Ieyasu.
Chelsea: *yawn* What happened?
Bulat: Late riser, I guess.
Leone: Well, me and Jun-
Jun: Not now.
Tatsumi: Who could've done this?
Najenda: Susanoo, find the culprit.
Lubbock: I'll help.
Sheele: I'm sorry everyone.
Everyone was shocked because they never would believe their friend Sheele would do something like that, but she gave clarification.
Sheele: I trapped Santa and asked a selfish request. And because of that, Christmas is ruined.
Mine: Whoa whoa whoa. You didn't ruin Christmas. It's not about the presents and toys. Yeah. Never thought I'd be saying that. It's about being there with others. And if Jin can't understand that, he's an idiot.
Jun: In morals.
Trent: Who wants to sing?

As Jin was about to dump everything off he mountain and ruin the whole day, suddenly, he heard some songs that would make his heart sway. He saw every one of his teammates from Chelsea to Ieyasu, all singing happily, and a smile on their face too.
Jin: (What is this feeling? It's like all the hatred's being sucked out of my body. And I love it.)
He felt as if his heart's darkness was fading away, and suddenly, he remembered it was Christmas Day. So he returned with his items, despite knowing what he did was basically a betray. He used all his energy to portal back to home, where he encountered his teammates and they believed he came back from his daily roam.
Jin: Guys?
Mine: Santa! You brought back our stuff! Thank you!
Then, as time ran out and Chelsea looked away, Santa turned back into Jin and it shocked everyone, the group was shocked, weren't they?
Jin: Guys, I stole your Christmas. Not Santa. It was me.
They all gasped and Chelsea pretended as he took the blame for everything.
Jin: I made a candy that would turn me into Santa, stole all your toys and goodies, all so I could feel happy. Turns out, I didn't need that. There was already something that helped me feel happy. I'm truly, truly sorry for stealing Christmas.
He trudges back to his laboratory and as everyone stared at him feeling pity, Chelsea, Jun, Sheele, and Leone followed him.

He was sulking in the laboratory when 4 people came in to see him.
Jin: Oh, hey guys. Came here to insult me?
Jun: No. We just came in to say, "Wanna come eat with us?"
Leone: You can have the first slice of turkey.
Sheele: Come on. Let's go eat!
Chelsea: What do you say, big guy?
Jin: Sure. And I just wanted to say, thanks for coming to comfort me. I guess I just didn't hate Christmas, it was just being alone and unhappy during that time. Thank you Sheele, for making me be happy; thank you Jun and Leone, for being he ones there for me; and Chelsea, thanks for sticking with me no matter what I did.
Jun, Leone, and Sheele walked out, and so did Jin and his partner Chelsea. But to their surprise, a mistletoe leaf was above them. Chelsea blushed as Jin stuttered.
Jun: And you know what this means, bro!
Leone: You have to kiss!
Both: Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!
They kept chanting and chanting until Jin grabs Chelsea and gives her a kiss on the lips. He felt so happy in that moment and so did she. He finally felt happy, and the man she loved finally blossomed into a better person. Soon they stop and rush to the turkey.
Jin and Jun: (Kristina, wherever you are, I hope you have a Merry Christmas too.)
