Caspian's POV:
Mingling until FG puts her wand up to dance.
"Come now Mal, it's time for the first dance." I say as we join the dance not too closely as everyone joins in a circle.
"I'm not very good at this." Mal says
"Just follow my lead" I start to dance with Mal and she's getting the hang of it
I see Penelope dancing with Hook who looks a little handsy but she's laughing it off.
Am I jealous?
Yes.
That's my Princess why wouldn't I be?
When it's time to switch partners.
I'm sadly partnered with Adri
"Look Caspi bear its fate." She said while pulling me closer. "I knew you would come back to me."
I'm disgusted "yeah no." I swiftly dance with her and avoid everything she's saying and doing. I look to see Penelope with Chadrick who looks like he's talking her ear off and she wants to be anywhere but here.
Finally the song is over and I'm partnered with literally everyone until I finally get the person I wanted.
"Hello Princey." She says with a smile that I could get lost in for days.
"Princess!" I said as I grab her waist and start to dance "you look breathtaking."
" thank you. You don't look too bad yourself."
"I think you mean I look dashingly handsome."
"I take back my compliment" she rolled her eyes
"No rolling of the eyes, love. At least not here."
I could tell she was blushing.
"You do" she said as I lifted a brow "look dashingly handsome." And just like that my emotions are lifted.
" thank you Princess." I said "I see you are wearing my colors."
"I don't know what you're talking about." She said with a sly smile "I just so happen to like light blue."
"Oh yeah." I said while looking up at her
"Yeah" her breath hitched and our lips were so close but we couldn't ruin the plan so she turned a little.
I was holding her extremely close and my head was on her shoulder.
The song seemed to be coming to an end but I wasn't ready to change partners so when the time came and she tried to leave me I pulled her close and shifted the girl coming towards me to the next person.
"This is the last dance everyone." And just like that FG lifted her want and changed the ceiling into the night sky. Stars were shining on us and sparkles were coming out of the ceiling.
I was just enjoying Penelope's company and I didn't want it to end but of course someone had to ruin it.
As the fireworks sparked from FG's wand, someone grabbed it and everyone gasped.
I instantly pulled Penelope behind me even though I knew she was more powerful than me.
"Child, what are you doing?!" FG asked
"If you won't make me beautiful, I'll do it myself!" Jane yelled "Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!"
I felt a shift as if something was coming. I looked at Penelope and knew she felt it too. She pulled me closer to her.
"Take cover" Father yelled.
"Careful Mal" Mother said as Mal started to inch toward Jane. So this is her plan?
Mal took the wand from Jane and held it high.
"Mal, give me the wand" I said
"Stand back" she yelled
"It's okay" I said
"I said stand back" she said while pointing the wand at me
"I told you so!" Adri said
"Not the time Adriana" I shouted at her.
"You really want to do this?" I asked "you're facing jail time and ruining the chance for future VKs"
Mal looked a little hesitant and I could see her questioning everything as the other core 4 ran up to her.
"We don't have a choice. Our parents-"
I cut her off "Your parents made their choice. Now you make yours."
"I think... no I know I want to be good" she said firmly.
"You are good" Penelope said
"How do you know that sister?" Gasp ran through the hall
"Because I've watched you from a far. I've watched you grow." She said trying to come around me but of course I'm not letting that happen. " You're not your parents"
"I want to listen to my heart, too. And my heart is telling me that we are not our parents. I mean, stealing things doesn't make you happy. Tourney and victory pizza with the team makes you happy." Mal said to Jay
"Yeah"
"And you, scratching dude's belly makes you happy. Who would've thought? And Evie... You do not have to play dumb to get a guy. You are so smart. And I don't want to take over the world with evil. It doesn't make me happy. I want to go to school. And be with my sister. Because having a family makes me really happy. Us being friends makes me really happy. Not destroying things. I choose good, you guys."
"I choose good" Evie and Jay said
"So, just to be clear, we don't have to be worried about how really mad our parents will be? Because they're gonna be really, really mad" Carlos said and they all laughed.
"Your parents can't reach you here." I said
"Okay, then good" he said
"Come on" Mal said while hugging them.
Then a green swirl came
"I'm back." A croaked voice said. Which only can belong to Maleficent.
Again pulling Penelope close. I see Chadrick jump into dads arms
"Go away Mother" Mal says
"She's funny. Oh! I'm so... you're very funny. Here. Wand me. Chop chop." Maleficent said as Mal looked like she was giving the want to her only to give it to FG "No!"
"Bibbidi-bobbidi..." FG started as she caught the wand
"Boo. Sike." I physically couldn't move and everything stopped.
Penelope's POV:
The winged demon started moving around. I had to pretend to be frozen and as she turned around. I thought it was the ichor in my blood but I think she just wanted me to see too.
Caspian is still holding me tightly even though he is completely frozen. My poor Princey
The horned harpy moved over to Aurora's husband, Philip. "Ooh. Ooh, in another time, in another time." Then she started singing "Evil like me, don't you wanna be mean...Ow! Oh. Oh, no. Someone needs to pluck their nose hairs." She said as she looked up FG's nose after taking the wand "Where shall we begin? I know. Why don't we start by getting rid of this?" She took Mal's hair clip "Perfect fit!" Guess it's now the creature's hair clip "Oh, excuse me. Pardon me. Excuse me. The horns, the horns!" I had to stop myself from rolling my eyes. "Aw... Falling in love is weak... And ridiculous." She said as she came and moved Caspian's crown. While looking directly in my eyes "It's not what you want." My covers blown
"You don't know what I want! Mom, have you ever once asked me what I want? I'm not you!" Mal said
"Oh, obviously. I've had years and years and years and... Years of practice being evil. You'll get there." Wannabe stepmom said.
Just so we're clear, my yiayiá did the better wicked stepmother.
"No, I will not. And I really wish that you had never gotten there yourself. Love is not weak or ridiculous. It's actually really amazing." Mal was on the brink of tears
"I know one thing, young lady. You have no room for love in your life!" She pointed the wand at Mal
"And now I command, wand to my hand! Ha! Take that Batbitch" I said as the wand came into my hand.
The core 4 looked at me shocked but then they were frozen along with Maleficent and I was gone.
