Aarav was busy in driving. His grip was on the steering wheel and Aarohi couldn't take off her eyes from him.
Aarohi was admiring his beauty :
He is looking irresistibly hot right now. His folded sleeves have provided full access to those veiny hands. His fluttering dense eyelashes made his brown eyes even more beautiful.
Aarav stopped the car. Aarohi asked, " what happened ?". Aarav said , " I don't think we can go more further with car. Now we have to park the car here ,in parking and cover rest of distance by walking ".
Both of them got out of the car and started walking towards the bada bazar which was at around 20 minutes walking distance.
They were having a cute romantic side street walk which any couple would love to do. Aarav offered his hand to Aarohi to hold. Her heart fluttered in happiness.
Aarav's P.O.V. -
I don't know how to hide it. But the reality is I hate visiting local markets from beginning either I had shopped from branded stores or in a online manner. Street shopping was never my cup of tea. When Navya and Vihaan refused to join us. Her puppy face was looking cute. But I don't want to disappoint her more. So, I decided to give it a try only for her.
Aarav and Aarohi was walking together but there existed a silence between them. Aarohi decided to break it and said ," Baat karne se boring raaste bhi asaan ho jate hai ".
Aarav scratched back of his neck and said, " Par mere paas to koi topic hi nahi hai filhaal ". Aarohi said, " Its okay , I will take care of it , by the way do you have any other sibling apart from Vihaan ?".
Aarav replied ," Yes , I also have a younger sister. Her name is Amaira. She is a complete chatterbox like Vihaan. But both of them keep fighting all day and later she comes to me for complaining about him".
Aarohi replied, " Why don't we shop for her also ? ". Aarav hesitated a bit and said ," I actually have no idea what she likes or not ".
Aarohi said, " I can help you in it ,sir or we can video call her to know her choice".
Aarav said , " You consided me as your friend ,right ". Aarohi nodded in a yes.
Aarav said , " Then please don't call me sir again." Aarohi hesitantly said ," How can I , I mean you are my boss ". Aarav said ," Isse apne boss ki hi request samajh ke man lo. Abhi hum office premises mein nhi hai. Sir word hata dene se tumhare mann mein meri respect kam nahi ho jani hai ".
She hesitatingly nodded and asked ," Sir , I mean Aarav are you sure ? Aarav replied ," If I was unsure I would have definitely not asked you for it ."
Aarohi said, " But only till we go back to the office premises , please ". Aarav nodded in response.
Soon they reached the main market. An earring stall grabbed her attention. Seeing the earrings a different shine appeared in her eyes.
Aarohi said, " They are pretty right ". Aarav murmured under his breath, " Currently all my focus is on your beauty ,Miss Sharma ".
Wo kar rahi tarif jhumko ki
Koi deewana ho gya unke roop se
Kya mil paengi dono ki manzeelein
Ya saath reh kar bhi alag reh jaenge
Jaise chav rahe dhoop se......
Aarohi said ," kuch kaha apne ? ". Aarav shrugged his shoulder and said ," kuch bhi to nahi ".
She was little confused in choosing. Aarav took a pair of Chandbali and said ," They will look good on you , for sure ".
Aarohi took them and gave it to shopkeeper and said ," Bhaiya inko final kijiye ". Aarav asked being astonished ," Maine to bas suggest kiya tha , you can check on more options ".
Aarohi calmly said ," Hum jitne options try karte hai. Utne confuse hote jate hai. May be first option hi sabse perfect ho."
Author's P.O.V. -
Iss situationships ke era mein
Kisi ek ko priority bana ke dekho
Asa nhi kehti ki kabhi dhoka nhi milna
Par ek baar aazma kar to dekho
Ye jo backup banaye huye hai na rishton ke
Un se bas tute hai dil logo ke
Explore karne ka era hai keh kar
Ache se behtar ki daud mein
Bhagte reh jaoge
Aur jab peeche mud ke dekhoge
To aisa lagega ki shayad jinko chod kar aaye the
Best dhundhne ki aas mein
Wahi to sabse best insan the aaj or kal ki talash mein.
Aarohi picked another pair of earrings and said ," Navya will love them for sure ".
Aarav said ," You are actually really quick in choosing ".
Aarohi folded her arms and said ," Apko kya laga ki mein baki ladkiyo ki tarah ek ek stall pe ghanto bita dungi ". Aarav replied ," I didn't mean it . "
Aarohi chuckled , " I was just joking . I know you won't do it intentionally". Aarav took a breath of relief. Aarohi asked , " Amaira ke liye bhi kharide earrings ?".
Aarav said, " kar lete hai fir uske liye bhi choose kuch ". Aarohi replied ," I would love to do it ,but I think we should ask for her approval too ".
Aarav hummed in response. He took phone out from pocket of his jeans and video called Aarohi. Soon the call was picked up. A girl appeared on screen. She is pretty and seems a cheerful person too.
Amaira : Hello bhai ! Kaise ho aap ?
Aarav : Mein thik hu , tum to thik ho na bacha.
Aarohi's P.O.V.-
Seeing them talking to each other with such affection. Feeling of comfort I had seen in Amaira after seeing him is same as I feels around my brother. She is also a brother's girl just like me. I am also missing my brother too much badly since I left my hometown.
Amaira : Aap kahi bahar aaye ho kya ?
Aarav : Ha , wo mein udaipur mein ek local market aya tha .
Amaira : Wait what ! You are in the local market. You hate visiting there,right.
(Aarav : Time to facepalm me 🫣).
Aarohi : Apko pasand nahi hai , aise markets mein aana.
Aarav's P.O.V.-
I think there were lack of enemies in my life. So my siblings fulfill the work. One planned to make me reach here and other revealed the secret before Aarohi that I hate visiting such places. These guys will leave me of nowhere.
Amaira : Apke saath mein koi hai kya ?
Aarav : ha , wo ye na ....
Aarohi : Hello Amaira.
Amaira : Sorry, I don't know you actually.
Aarohi : I am Aarohi ,his empl...
Before she could complete Aarav interrupted them.
Aarav : She is my friend.
Amaira : Oh I see, waise apko jagah Vihaan bhai hote to I would be less surprised.
Aarav : Amaira , there is nothing like that.
Amaira : Waise apne call kisliye kiya tha ?
Aarav : I was thinking to get you some earrings , so decided to call you to ask your choice.
Amaira : Earrings I just love them.
Aarav handed the phone to Aarohi they both were talking along with choosing earrings.
Aarav : You should see these oxidised one, you will look adorable in it.
Amaira : I must say your choice is really good ,hai na bhai.
Hearing her, Aarohi's cheek heated up due to blushing.
Aarav : Will you stop your teasing game.
She fake cleared her throat.
Amaira : okay , okay lets final oxidised one . Actually my friends are calling me. So I need to go.
Saying this she cut the call. Aarav said ," Ye na bina soche samjhe kuch bhi bol deti hai. I hope you don't mind. Aarohi replied ," Its okay, I am not upset from her . This time I am disappointed with you.
Aarav said," But why me ?". Aarohi raised her eyebrows and asked , " Aapne mujhse pehle kyu nahi kaha ki you hate coming here ".
Aarav said , " I don't want to disappoint you ". Aarohi replied, " Isliye khud ko discomfort mein dal diya , hai na ".
Aarav said , " I may have come here with partial consent. But I am loving to visit her. I swear. Aarohi said ," Lets see ".
They later got engaged in shopping other stuff like hand bags ,dresses, morjari etc.
Aarohi said ," It was a tiring day ". Aarav nodded in response.
Aarohi said ," Lets eat something ". Aarav said , " Par yaha pe kya khaoge ? ".Aarohi said , " Aap na savaal bahut karte ho Aarav, iss bar bas trust karo mujh par ".
Aarav's P.O.V.-
My name never felt so good while speaking as it is feeling now. I don't know why my attraction towards her is growing more with every moment passing by.
She held his wrist and took me to a street food stall. She said, " Bhaiya do plate papdi chaat bana dijiye ." Vendor nodded in a positive response.
After 10 minutes....
They had two plates of food right in front of them. Aarav hesitated to try it as it was not his choice of food.
Aarav said ," I don't think I should try it ". Aarohi said, " Jab tak try nahi karoge tab tak ye kaise pata chalega worth imt hai ya nahi ". Aarav replied , " Par wo ........ ".
Before he could comprehend another word. Aarohi took out one piece and placed it in his mouth and said , " Baatein baad mein pehle kuch kha lijiye ".
As the taste of it melted in his mouth. An expression of delight and appeared on his face. He finally said ," It is actually tasty ".
Aarohi said with a pride smile on his face ," Meri choices par trust karna kabhi bekar nahi jata hai , mujhe to pehle hi pata tha aap faltu mein ghabra rahe the ".
Soon both of them finished and was heading towards more stall. Aarav asked ," By the way, what you love to do in spare time ? ".
Aarohi replied ," I love to read ". Aarav said ," Which genre ?". Aarohi said ," Romance ". Aarav said ," Oh ! Great choice ". She hummed in response.
Aarav said ," Looking forward to reading something new in this genre ". Aarohi said , " I am but issue is that the book I am searching is not available anywhere rightnow. I searched it everywhere in both online and offline manner. "
Aarav curiosily asked ," Which one ? ". Aarohi said , " It's name is A touch of Eternity ". Aarav said , " I hope you will get it soon".Aarohi said ," Yeah ".
Aarav said, " I had to go for a while ,I had to do a urgent work call , will be back in some time . You stay here for a while ."
Aarohi replied , " sure ,sure ".
Aarohi's P.O.V.-
If someday in future I am his wife. That day the first thing I will do is to snatch his phone.I mean who stays busy in work calls all the time even during vacation. Oh god ! Please do something of him.
In other people's relationship third wheels are other girls or boys and here his phone is making Aarohi's blood boil .😂
He left from there and went little far from her. Aarohi spoke , " Aisi konsi work call thi ki yaha baat bhi nahi kar sakte , maine konsi inki confidential information leak kar deni thi ".
Aarav dialled a number from his number.
Aarav : Hello Rohan.
Rohan : Hello Aarav, long time no contact where are you?
Aarav : Actually I have been out of town for one month.
Rohan : Its alright then.
Aarav : I actually need a favour from you.
Rohan : Anything for you bro.
Aarav : You once told me you have a friend who owns a publication house.
Rohan : Yes , it is in Udaipur.
Aarav : Perfect , actually I need a book . I am also in Udaipur ,author signed editon. But I need it with in one hour.
Rohan : It is little difficult to execute.
Aarav : I have sent you 10000 Rs for it and details ,please convence him if he need more cash just tell me , I will pay it.
Rohan : I think it is really urgent. I will surely convence him. Just send me the book name and your current location.
Aarav : Thank you so much.
Rohan : Thank you is not enough dude , meet me whenever you are back in town. Deal done.
Aarav : As you say my brother.
Saying this the call ended.
Aarav came back to Aarohi. Aarohi said ," Call must be important , Right ".
Aarav replied , " Yes, it is actually ".
Aarav's P.O.V.-
I know she is curious what led me to left her suddenly and make a call. I could have given it to her normally , but may be somethings are better in surprise. Just keep patience ,all this will be worth your happiness Aarohi.
Aarav said , " Chale kuch aur shopping kare ". Aarohi said ," Mein to thak chuki hu ab ". Aarav said ," Thodi der aur ghumte hai na ".
Aarohi's P.O.V.-
First he don't want to come . Now he doesn't want to go. I thought only girls have mood swings but here my boss is overtaking them.
Soon they saw a bangle store. Aarav said ," Why don't you purchase some bangles ". Aarohi said , " I actually have a lot of them already ".
Aarav said , " One more set won't hurt right ". Aarav said ," Par wo na .... ". Before she could say something he held his wrist and took her to store.
He asked the vendor ," Wo silver bangles dikhaiye na ". He passed it to Aarav. Aarav held her wrist and was about to made her wear them.
Aarohi nervously said , " I will wear it myself ". Aarav suddenly pulled back ,"Sorry if I made you uncomfortable by my actions ".
Aarohi's P.O.V. -
His touch only makes me feel butterflies in my stomach. But uncomfortable from his touch is never possible atleast in this birth. I am literally an idiot since weeks I was crying that he is not paying attention to me and now when he is doing it then you are confusing him with your uncertain actions. Someone please give a treatment to my stupid heart.
Aarohi replied , " No I didn't mean it . You don't made me uncomfortable . I thought that you don't need to do things only to please me. I mean your comfort level also matters ".
Aarav's P.O.V.-
How do I tell her she is my comfort. Making her happy gives me peace. She is the home I have been in search of since years . Our every physical touch even if it accidental fills my soul with thousands of unexplained feelings.
Aarav replied ," What if I say you are my comfort. You are someone for whom making efforts give peace to me. I value this friendship. I value you and I mean it.
Aarohi's P.O.V.- The person who can give this level efforts at friendship. He will do anything for the girl he love. Please god ! I hope in the end I will be that girl he will be head over heels for.
A silence prevailed after his statement. Aarohi couldn't contemplate his words which states she matters to him. After this no other thing matters to her.
She finally broke the silence. Aarohi said, " Ab dost mana hai to meri stupid harkatein maaf kar ke ye bangles pehna to dijiye ". Aarav asked ," You sure ? ". Aarohi proudly said ," More than I was ever ".
Aarav slowly slid all the bangles to her wrist. Aarohi said ," They are more than beautiful ". Aarav said , " Don't let your smile fade away. You are the sunshine that can make anyone's dark life bright ".
Aarav's P.O.V.-
Every beautiful thing fails over the glow on face when she smiles. Her bright smile can make anyone's day. It should never fade away.
Aarohi said , " Romance mein padhti hu or dialogues aap bol rahe ho , by the way line achi thi ". Saying this she passes a light chuckle.
Aarav become little conscious of his words later. His ears turned red due to blushing. He murmured under his breath ," I need to work on my choice of lines ".
Aarohi said ," kuch kaha apne ". Aarav replied ," Actually , I was saying we should leave now , otherwise we may get late ".
They were heading towards the car. Aarohi was walking towards roadside. Aarav gently signalled him to change side he went towards road side holding her hand.
Sometimes small gestures do a lot ♥️
Soon they reached the parking area. Aarav got a call and he said ," I will be back in 5 minutes ". Aarohi murmured ," Jaise hi thoda sa quality time spend ho raha hota , ye jo meri sautan hai na inka phone jal bhun kar sab attention le jata hai , mann to karta hai aag laga du is phone mein ".
After 10 minutes......
Aarav came back with a bag in his hand. Aarav handed it to Aarohi. Aarohi asked ," Iss mein kya hai ". Aarav replied ," Khol ke to dekho pehle , questions baad mein karna ".
Aarohi opened the packet. As she ripped off the cover a bright smile appeared on her face making her glow even more brighter.
It was the book she was searching from past weeks now it is in her hands.
Aarohi said ," Apko ye kaise mili , I mean aap to call pe bat karne gaye the , ye book to abhi market mein bahut rarely available hai ".
Aarav said ," Surprise to abhi khatam hi nahi hua hai. Front page to kholo ek bar ".As soon as she turned the page she squealed in excitement and happiness.
She said , " I can't believe it is author signed edition . But how you arranged it ".
Aarav scratched back of his neck and said , " Just few calls and some request were enough ".
Aarohi said , " For me within one hour . But why ? ". Aarav said , " You were upset from me as I lied to you about my disliking towards local markets.That is why I have brought it ".
Aarohi said ," I was not upset at all. I don't know how to explain it ". Aarav said , " Why to complicate by explaining it when you can solve it by leaving it as it is ,right Aarohi ".
Before he could form any other word. She wrapped her arms around him,hugged him tightly and said , " Thank you so so much , you made me feel too much special today ".
Aarav's P.O.V.-
My heart skipped a beat when she wrapped her arms around me. Hugging someone never felt this good.
Her rose perfume reached my nostrils and I am addicted to its essence and the way things are going ,she will soon turn out to be my obsession.
This time this hug was not accidental it was more of consensual. Aarav's one arm was on her waist and one was on her her head. Due to their height difference her ears could easily listen his heartbeats.
Aarohi's P.O.V.- I don't know why this day is going like a dream. If it is a dream then I don't want to wakeup. I only want to live in the world where he is mine for forever.
