Making sure no one was around to see or hear me, I sat down outside SMG4's office door. With one last check, I leant against it and half-prayed that he could hear me and half-prayed that he couldn't. Gently closing my red eyes, I opened my bearded mouth and began to sing lyrics that described how I was feeling about him and our relationship right now.
I just really miss your face
Though, by now, I must disgust you
I had tried to be the stubbornest mule

So I guess I was foolish to trust you...
But I wait here, just in case

I finished, feeling tears begin to rush down my face as I wished that 4 would finally come out of his room and be in my arms once more. It was my fault that he'd been possessed in the first place, and I had no idea what kind of state he would be in when he'd come out again. If only I'd never cancelled him, then... then he wouldn't be in this mess... neither of us would...
Finally, I stood up and ran away from the wooden door, still crying but trying to disguise it as much as possible. I couldn't risk anyone seeing me like this, especially not Mario; if they did, then they'd never let it go. I just wished that I didn't have these stupid feelings towards my own rival, but we'd been through so much together, that I guess it only made sense.
