I sighed once again to let out my little annoyed expression and turn to the cloud of smoke that is slowly disappearing
After the smoke disappears, there stood a girl, her height is near my shoulder but her ears boost it up a tiny bit

I woke up to the sound of the chickens shouting and the sun rising. I sit up on my bed as I look down at my arm. It was still covered but this time, I had a glove that was long enough to cover my arm
Though, hiding from everyone was difficult but since Sain's reputation was not good, people didn't really care. Only three people did care
Toru, Lisa and surprisingly Soara
I was not expecting Soara to over any healing to me but I think it was because she just wants to help out. Still, it is strange since Soara is one of the few that dislikes Sain alot
Well in any case, A year has passed ever since that dungeon and I gotta say I am loving this power alot. I would train alone in the woods and slash any trees, punch any rock and practice my magic on any kind of beast nearby
I was surprised at how my power increased. The first time I summoned my astral swords, I could only do 4. But now I can summon more than that
The Yamato also seems to be too much for this world. Since one cut is enough to kill a giant. Well to be fair, Devil may cry looks like a series that can solo any anime
Minus a few..... And I am not going to debate on that
Anyways, I had Yamato in hand since I was doing a few practice here and there but then I heard someone shouting
Immediately, I ran over to check it out and saw three people. Two girls and one guy
Apparently they are facing against an S-grade Skeleton king. It was traveling around in a pack and it seems like they are pissed off. Encountering an S-grade is kinda rare but not hard to find.
I then look at the group that were in trouble.
One of the girls has short black hair and is dressed in a hunter's outfit. She was holding a rifle and it seems like she is out of ammo
The other girl has long blonde hair and apparently, she is an elf. Judging from her using a staff, she must be a mage. She looks tired and she is probably out of mana. Her outfit is a traditional mage outfit but with no hat
And lastly there was a guy on the ground. He has brown hair with green eyes and is wearing a beginners warrior outfit. He was watching the two girls with fear in his eyes while the other two are standing infront of him trying to protect him
???: LIHAM! RUN!
The hunter shouts as she desperately holds her rifle as a sword.
Liham: I-I can't leave you two here!
Liham shouts as he stands up and grabs his sword and runs infront of the two girls. Getting ready to strike and take on the skeletons alone. This made the girls fear rise
??? and ???2: LIHAM!
Third person p.o.v
One of the skeletons rushes at Liham and starts to slash at him. Liham manages to block it as he was then attacked by another one. The two girls couldn't help, however the elf throws a rock at the skeleton king, who looks at her with anger
???2: B-Back off!
The skeletons who were dealing with Liham knocks him down. Liham watches as they laugh at him but suddenly stops. Then the skeleton head blew up into a million pieces. This causes everyone to be shocked
The skeletons then were high on guard as they look over at the source. They were looking at Liham, or so they thought. Liham turns around and sees Y/n walking up to them
Y/n: Well well well. Looks like we got alot of bones to pick
Nobody laugh. Which made Y/n sigh
Y/n: Oh come on, that was a good joke!
???: Um excuse me?! But we are in danger!
Y/n sighs again as he sees that one of the skeletons tries to ambush him. In the blink of an eye, he parries him and stabs his head with the Yamato. The skeleton falls and seemingly not able to get up
Three more tries to rush at Y/n but he blocks the first one with his sheath and then kicks the other one back. He then slashes the last one's head off and he spins around and did the same with the second guy. The first guy still standing was left confused as Y/n disappeared from his point of view
But then, he felt enormous pain as his whole body was cut down. Y/n stands behind the skeleton king as he roars and tries jumping at Y/n. Which is a big mistake since Y/n slice his sword in half and he smirks
Y/n: You are a S-Grade? Heh, seems like you have been down graded
Y/n says as he dashes forward, past the skeleton king. When he sheathes his sword a big slash cuts down the skeleton king. When the skeleton king died, he drops a loot. It looks like a nice sword but unfortunately, Yamato was stronger
Y/n sighs as he looks over at the three people and looks at their health. All of them were low so Y/n handed them health potion
Y/n: Drink up. You all need it
After I gave my potion, I decided to take my leave. However, I was stop
Liham: Hey wait!
Oh boy. What did I get myself into. I sighed as I stop and turn to them
Y/n: May I help you?
The girl with the rifle walks up to me. She was actually kinda hot up close
But with a face like that, we know where this is going
???: What the hell was that?! That was an S-Grade monster! How did you beat him in one slash!
Like adventurers, monsters also has a grade system.
D, C, B, A, S and SS+ class. Every monster has atleast a S or SS+ tier monster, they usually serves as the leaders, boss or etc. However, they are rare to find
Skeletons rank in the same place as Goblins but only higher which is D class
Anyways, I sighed as I have to answer them. Would be rude not to

Then the blonde elf steps up to speak as well. She was also hot
Man this guy is lucky to have them both as his party
???2: But luck doesn't involve in battle, its only relevant for drops
I sighed as I decided to tell them, Even if we are strangers. They don't seen like bad people anyways

Liham: Dark slayers? I have heard of dragon slayers but never heard of Dark slayers

???2: Well Liham. Dark Slayers are similar to a hero class. However in terms of moralities, goals and power are different. Think of it as a Vigilante

???: But they usually are rare to find. I wasn't expecting one to find us and save us
The black haired girl sighs as she turns to me and holds out her hand
???: Anyways, my name is Rei. The other girl is Ashe and that guy you saved was Liham
I grab her hands and shake it. I nod as I smile a little
Y/n: Nice to meet you. Glad you three are okay
I notice that Rei was slightly blushing. After hand shaking for an unnecessary minute. We let go
Y/n: So what are you guys doing here?
I asked as Liham was the one to answer
Liham: Well we are adventurers. Right now I am trying to get promoted to A class so I can get closer with my sisters
I stared at him for a good minute before looking at both Ashe and Rei. Ashe probably caught onto my confusion and answered
Ashe: Its complicated
Rei nods as I decided to let it go. I have a feeling that they would open up soon
Rei: What about you?
I look at her before realizing why I came out here
Y/n: I came out here to train.... Nothing special
The trio nods as I sighed. I didn't want to tell them about Yamato since I don't know them yet. If I told them about Yamato then I am bound to be used for their goals
It would be easy to help but I know that as soon as their goals are achieved, I will be thrown out like garbage
This group doesn't look like they would but I will take my time to know them before telling them
Y/n: Do you have a place to stay?
Almost like I can hear the sudden tense, I watch the three look away and sweating nervously

The closest area they could go and gather supplies for their trip would be the kingdom. However, traveling to the next kingdom will take 5 days
And I doubt they have any supplies for their trip. Luckily enough, they can find shelter in my hometown
Y/n: Well I recommend you come over my hometown. Its not much but seeing as how you are low on supplies I recommend you stay over
I suggested as Ashe was the first to speak her mind of the idea
Ashe: Really? You don't mind?
I nod as Rei was the next to ask
Rei: What about the people?
Y/n: They are actually pretty welcoming to outsiders. Especially adventurers
I honestly have no idea how we are still alive. Accepting random strangers are risky and my hometown doesn't exactly have the best guards protecting the area
The three look at each other before nodding. Liham smiles
Liham: Alright then. Thank you for the hospitality
It was settled. These three decided to stay over until they can go back out themselves
