' Safe '
The same day after the school had just been over , jihye told Jaehee that she will be going with gyuvin to a nearby cafe.
Jaehee waited outside the school .
And what about ricky ? Well he left early since his sister called him for some urgent work.
Jaehee finally decided to walk to the bus stop when she suddenly received a call from her sister Yuna .
On call:
Yuna - hey Jaehee!
Jaehee - oh hey what happened ?
Yuna - uhh listen can you come to the hospital please....
Jaehee - hospital ? Why what happened? Are you fine ?
Yuna - yeah yeah I am fine actually dayeon is not well she fainted during the practice so me and some of my friends are here in the hospital.
Jaehee - oh ok why do I have come to hospital.
Yuna - uhh can you bring something to eat we are starving since morning.
Jaehee - just for that...?
Yuna - do you have any problem ???
Jaehee - yeah no no I'll be there.
Yuna - okeh! Come fast !
Jaehee then cut the call and marched towards a small restaurant.
She ordered chicken soup for dayeon and tteotbokki for her sister and her friends. After paying for the food she went towards the hospital . Since the hospital was not so far she did not take the bus and just walked there.
She entered the hospital and went to receptionist.
"Uhm excuse me can you tell me in which room is kim dayeon ??"
Jaehee asked.
"Oh yeah just wait a minute...uh kim dayeon....yeah in room 312..!"
The nurse said.
"Oh thank you"
Jaehee said and went to room 312.
She peeped through the door and saw her sister along with friends inside .
She knocked the door.
"Who's there?"( a/n.the boy next door! Ok I'm sorry.)
Yuna asked.
"It's me Jaehee"
Jaehee asked.
"Oh Jaehee come in!"
Yuna said as Jaehee awkwardly entered the room and bowed to her friends.
"Jaehee you came! Did you bring the food??"
Yuna asked.
"Yeah I did take"
Jaehee said and handed her the polybag.
"I bought tteotbokki for y'all and also chicken soup for dayeon it will help her recover soon"
Jaehee said .
"Oh really ?? Thank you so much Jaehee"
Dayeon said and smiled.
"Of course Jaehee is an intelligent"
Yuna said proudly.
"Oh shut up Yuna and recover soon I'll get going then"
Jaehee said and smiled.
"You're going now??"
Yuna asked.
"Yeah I need to complete my homeworks will you come home??"
Jaehee asked.
"I won't be able to...ok fine go home then"
Yuna said.
"Yeah ok"
Jaehee said.
"Go home safely it's late already"
Yuna said.
"Yeah I will"
Jaehee said and bid them goodbye.
And then Jaehee walked outside the hospital it was dark already. She checked the time and it was around 9pm already.
She thought to take the bus but her house was not much far away so she decided to go home by walking since she knew the shortcut to her house. So she went that way.
It was past 8 at night and the shops in this area usually close at sharp 8 so it was really quiet only a few vehicles were seen on the main road . It was very quiet so she just focused on returning to her house .
But as she was walking she saw two guys in the corner of a store smoking.
She glanced at them and decided to ignore them as she looked at ground and walked past them . But the two guys eyed at her from up to down and started following her slowly right behind her.
She could feel the footsteps behind so she walked faster and saw an alley not so far so she decided to hide there.
She walked even faster and entered the alley but the guys were fast too they immediately followed Jaehee.
Jaehee looked at them with fear in her eyes and immediately turned around and walked inside the alley but the guys were following her.
She was walking inside the alley when she reached the spot where the alley was enclosed on the three sides only one way there to escape but she could not because both the guys were standing there.
She slowly turned around panicking a little and looked at them.
"Um e-excuse me I need to go.."
Jaehee said while stuttering.
"Where do you want go huh? And why are you running away ??"
One guy said.
"Yeah we are not bad guys"
The other one said.
"I-im sorry about that- I will leave then"
She said and was about to leave when one of the guy blocked her way.
She looked at him with pure fear.
"Do you think we'll let you go that easily"
The guy said and smirked.
"I-i seriously need to go now please.."
Jaehee pleaded trying to hide the fact that she was scared but her fear was fully obvious in her face.
"As if we will let you go-"
The guy said and was cut off when a shoe hit his head making him groan in pain.
"Aishh..who the fuck was that??!?!"
The guy yelled and turned around.
Jaehee looked at the person and widened her eyes.
"R-ricky...?"
Jaehee said in relief.
"What the hell are you doing?"
Ricky said with his hands in his pocket.
"How dare you hit me you son of a bitch-"
The guy yelled and ran towards ricky with his fist clenched to punch him but ricky was fast enough to get a grip on his hands and he wished his hands making the man groan in pain.
"What do you think you are doing..!"
Ricky twisted his hand and pushed him in the ground.
"What the hell-!"
The other guy ran towards ricky but ricky just kicked him in his stomach making him fall in the ground.
"Don't you dare to do anything like that again or else you will see...now go!"
Ricky yelled making the two guys run from there.
Ricky then looked at Jaehee who was standing there in shock and went towards her. He held her shoulders making her look at him .
"Are you fine?"
He asked.
Jaehee just nodded.
"What are you doing here at this hour you know it is not safe"
Ricky asked.
"I was just walking home then they- I don't know what-"
Jaehee said while panicking .
Ricky just patted her head and was shocked when Jaehee just pulled him in for a hug. Ricky was quite taken aback but hugged her back and caressed her head .
"It's fine...everything is fine now.."
Ricky said .
"Ricky...thank you very much but how did you know-?"
Jaehee asked breaking the hug.
"Oh I was returning from the company when I saw those two following you and it's ok don't have to say thank you"
Ricky said and smiled.
"I think I should drop you home now"
Ricky said making Jaehee nod he held her hand took her to his car.
Then ricky drove to Jaehee's house as Jaehee got down the car she went to her house but the door was locked she searched for the house keys but was not able to find.
She ran to ricky and told him that she's not able to find the house keys.
"It's quite late do you think you'll be able to sleep outside?"
Ricky asked.
"Ricky wth obviously no!" jaehee yelled slightly.
"ill call jihye or minseo maybe.."
jaehee said as she dialed jihye's number but she did not pick up .
she tried multiple times but still she did not pick up.
she even tried calling minseo but her phone was switched off.
"they're not picking up"
jaehee said as she stood lazily.
"hmm so what should we do then...will you perhaps come to my house then..?"
ricky asked hesitantly.
"your house...?"
jaehee asked shocke.
"yeah... i mean like i do have a spare room..."
ricky said awkwardly.
"oh you do? then its fine..!"
jaehee said as she sat inside ricky's car once again.
it took almost 15 minutes to reach ricky house.
as they went outside the car jaehee was busy admiring the house.
the house was not much big but enough for ricky to live alone.
"come follow me"
ricky said as he unlocked the door as they both entered.
the house was pretty even from inside just as jaehee imagined it was very neat and tidy and huge...
"there's an empty room in the 1st floor you can stay there...follow me"
ricky said as he went upstairs while jaehee followed him.
as they reached infront of the door the door was locked.
ricky frowned and started to find the key but suddenly remembered that the key is with xiaoting.
he slowly looked up at jaehee and awkwardly stood.
"what happened..?"
jaehee asked.
"uhm i dont have the key..."
ricky said.
"what..? you dont have the key but why??"
jaehee asked.
"this room is usually used by xiaoting when she comes here and she has the key not me"
ricky said.
"then ask her..?"
jaehee said.
"she's not here...i mean she returned back to china to help dad with buisness work and she will come back after 2 weeks...."
ricky said and rubbed his nape.
listening to ricky she facepalmed but then she noticed another room .
"who's room is that?"
jaehee asked .
"mine...why?"
ricky asked.
jaehee only looked at him and grinned ricky just looked at her confused but his eyes widened realising.
jaehee pushed him and ran towards the room followed by ricky.
as the two entered the room they jumped straight to the bed.
"jaehee piss off! its my bed!!"
ricky yelled.
"im your guest let me sleep here for fuck's sake!"
jaehee yelled back.
"no way im letting you sleep jere! go sleep in the couch or smth!"
ricky yelled.
"how come you're saying that to your guest to sleep on the couch! you go instead!"
jaehee said.
"my house , my rules!"
ricky slightly yelled.
"my knife , your life!"
jaehee back while glaring at him.
"...ohk keep quiet let me think of something.."
ricky said and started thinking.
jaehee rolled her eyes and layed down in ricky's bed.
"yah ! who asked you to lay down in my bed!"
ricky yelled.
"stop being so dramatic for fuck's sake... just make a pillow wall and sleep that side"
jaehee said as she closed her eyes.
"...hmm not a bad idea"
ricky said as he started building a pillow wall.
"ill just clean up...do you have spare clothes...?"
jaehee asked.
"maybe... xiaoting keeps her spare clothes in the laundry you can check there it is downstairs at tge left side.."
ricky said as jaehee went away.
few minutes after ricky went to change up too nd after her returned back he layed down in one side of the bed and started scrolling through his phone.
after a few minutes jaehee came back.
"what are you doing?"
jaehee asked.
"obviously not dancing"
ricky replied.
"i was just asking..."
jaehee said and rolled her eyes and took out her macbook from her bag and started typing something on it while sitting on the other side of the bed.
ricky slightly glanced at her macbook.
"what are you doing..?"
he asked.
"im working on an online novel..."
jaehee said.
"you write online novels.??"
ricky asked.
"yeah i do.... if you want to sleep then sleep ill take some time..."
jaehee said as she continued her work.
"...ohk i guess"
ricky said as he lay down facing his back towards jaehee and slept.
After a few minutes jaehee closed her macbook and glanced at ricky who was sleeping quietly and arranged the blanket to sleep as well.
it did not take much time after she drifted off to sleep.

the next morning when ricky slowly opened his eyes only to find jaehee sleeping while facing him.
he glanced at the pillow wall which was destroyed long ago , when he realised that jaehee and he were sleeping so close to each other.
he checked his phone to see that it was sunday so no school today.
he kept his phone aside and looked back at jaehee , unknowingly staring at her.
he was busy admiring her facial features which was covered by a few strands of hair.
he moved his hand forward and tucked the strands of hair behind her eyes as now he was getting a better view of her face.
he started with his eyes then to her nose and then to her lips....
he did not even realise that he was staring at her lips for too long.
when unintentionally he started moving forward towards her lips .
he could feel her hot breath touching his face as he gulped slowly and closed his eyes as he was about to connect the lips.
"OUCH- WTF"
ricky yelled in pain as he was now in the ground.
"what-what happened who died?!?!"
jaehee yelled.
"you fucking kicked me...?!"
ricky said as he looked somewhere else trying to hide his face remebering what he was jsut about to do...
"what were you doing anyways..?"
jaehee asked.
"i-i n-nothing you decided to ruin my sleep by k-kicking me"
ricky cussed himself for sttuttering.
"oh really...ok...?"
jaehee said as she raised her one eyebrow.
