This Chapter also has some "major" time skips it starts with the rest of Season 2 episode 4 "Mirror, Mirror" then goes to Season 2 episode 10 "Journey to Babel"
Prime Anansa and Prime Scotty were able to artificially create the same conditions of the Ion Storm that stuck them in their "new home" once they do that Anansa leaves to go speak with Spock and explain what they were doing "why are you telling me this!?!" he asks "so you can prepare a romantic welcome home dinner for your wife when she returns" she replies he smiles "I shall always trust you over anyone else Spock and I wish you and your wife the best life you can possibly make in your world but I should like to return to mine for though you are like him I still miss my Spock" she says he nods then watches as she leaves his quarters and his eyes become sad though there is a spark of happiness that lives within him as well for he also misses his Anansa.... once Spock and Kirk enter Sickbay McCoy was already prepared to Mind Meld with Spock for Anansa suggested that that would be the wisest course "so he has a better understanding of the change within all of us strange as it may seem he shall always be on Kirk's side but it would work faster if he understood everything from all angles plus I'd rather not see anyone get hurt he is still half Vulcan not to mention he'd never Mind Meld with me either one of them" she told Bones Spock was surprised that Bones was ready and willing to allow him to Mind Meld that is until he saw Anansa and he knew she was the reason he helps them get home but not before having to listen to Kirk try to.... inspire him to help his Empire change.... when Kirk and the others arrive back to their time Anansa becomes unlike herself and rushes over to Spock and hugs him which he answers "I think Uhura's grateful to be back in her normal uniform" she says looking over at Uhura who smiles at her then says "it really is a relief" Anansa chuckles.... "Jim, I think I liked him with a beard better gave him character of course, almost any change would be a distinct improvement" Anansa hears Bones say as she walks onto the Bridge a few minutes later she smiles she really missed the banter between Bones, Spock and Kirk so she decided not to put in her "two cents" as the humans say Kirk laughs then says "what worries me is the easy way his counterpart fitted into that other universe I always thought Spock was a bit of a pirate at heart" Spock replies "indeed, gentlemen may I point out that I had an opportunity to observe your counterparts here quite closely they were brutal, savage, unprincipled, uncivilized, treacherous in every way, splendid examples of homo sapiens, the very flower of humanity I found them quite refreshing" Kirk says "I'm not sure, but I think we've been insulted" Bones replies "I'm sure" they hear Anansa chuckle and turn to face her with a smile on their faces "what do you think?!" Bones asks "of what?!" she asks "you must have a opinion" he replies "I don't quite follow doctor there were quite a few things I heard that I could have a opinion on his non-existent beard, his hidden pirate life and the fact that you two were insulted.... though the beard was quite arousing I pay more attention to his eyes, I could quite possibly see the Terran version of him as a pirate probably because of his beard and you two are more like weeds than flowers" she says the Bridge crew laughs just then a familiar face.... to Kirk anyway.... walks onto the Bridge with some paperwork for him to sign and Kirk stares at her Anansa smiles knowingly then leaves the Bridge for there was nothing she needed to do there at this moment in time I suppose you could say she was "checking in" which is usually the main reason she comes onto the Bridge.... Bones chuckles Spock shakes his head at her "and it certainly was better than just showing him" she adds Bones laughs Spock allows a corner smile to appear on his face she looks past Spock at his father who was walking towards Kirk and bows before him in a polite somewhat Vulcan manner and Sarek bows in return a curious Captain Kirk turns to see who the Ambassador was bowing to and smiles when he sees Anansa then he turns his attention back to Sarek and says "Captain James Kirk" Sarek does the Vulcan Salute as he says "Captain" Kirk bows slightly then turns and starts walking out of the Docking Bay with Sarek at his side Anansa gently passes by Sarek and over to Amanda who gives her a hug she watches Bones attempt to make the Vulcan Salute after he was introduced and smiles when she sees him succeed "it seems it was a accurate way to describe it" she says Amanda smiles then they walk towards Sarek and Kirk as Sarek introduces his wife to the Captain Anansa stands next to Spock as Amanda continues to walk over to her husband and place her pointer and middle finger up against her husbands then says with a smile "Captain Kirk" Kirk says with a bow of his head "our pleasure, madam soon as you're settled, I'll arrange a tour of the ship Mr. Spock will conduct you" Sarek replies "I prefer another guide, Captain" Anansa says "I'll give them a tour if you two so permit of course" Sarek looks at her and replies "I would enjoy that very much" she smiles and says "you'll have to excuse the Captain he can be quite slow at times" Kirk looks at her curiously "can't you see the family resemblance!?" she asks he looks at Spock and Sarek with a surprised expression on his face "apparently not" she says softly Amanda smiles..... Anansa gives Sarek and Amanda a complete tour of the Enterprise then took them to their quarters so they could rest before the Reception Diplomatic Conference attendants she answered every question Amanda had on how things in each area worked even though she knew it was only a test to see if she truly has learned as much as she once claimed Sarek seemed quite impressed on how much she knew they all heard all sorts of praises from the officers in the areas they were in on how much they depend on Anansa and enjoy working with her for she does her best to treat everyone equally and with kindness which seemed to make Amanda proud.... before heading to the Reception Spock is told by Anansa that she doesn't trust the Andorian named Thelev "he doesn't feel right, I don't think he is who he's pretending to be" she softly tells him "seeing that I have no proof and only what the humans call a "gut feeling" I don't expect you or anyone else to act on it just yet" she says he nods then kisses her lips and leaves their quarters.... a few minutes later Anansa stands in front of Sarek and Amanda's quarters she rings their doorbell and waits for Amanda to answer "sorry to bother you two when you're supposed to be resting but I was wondering if Sarek would like to meditate with me since his son is on duty" she says "you are never a bother dear come on in" Amanda replies as she waves the Kitsune she became very fond of during her week stay at Vulcan a few years back Sarek who turns to face her as he sits in a chair in the living area nods at her then goes to set up a spot where they could meditate he knows she knows or at least senses that he isn't himself and is grateful she respects his privacy and doesn't ask questions about his health she doesn't ask him any questions at all just enjoys the time she has with her friends even if it is in silence the stress free relief she brought to him thanks to the fact that they had meditated together is lost when he returns to the Reception by himself and is "cornered" by the Tellarite ambassador Gav once more about his vote....
Anansa is called to help Bones take care of Sarek when he is sent to Sickbay "so this is what meditation truly does to the body huh Sarek!?!" she teases as she walks over to where he now lays he seems to roll his eyes at her she chuckles then teases with a smile "perhaps it's the thought of having a Kitsune for a daughter in law!" he raises a eyebrow at her "oh it's just a dream your wife once had!" she teases she looks at Amanda and asks keeping her teasing tone "I'm sorry was I not supposed to tell him about that!?!" Amanda smiles shaking her head at the woman she knows her son is in love with she looks at Bones who was watching her tease the Vulcan Ambassador and his wife with a amused expression on his face "I best let you rest before I'm never allowed in here again" Anansa says "thank you for coming even if it was ordered" Sarek says "well the doctor knows that I know you so he figured a familiar face might do you some good and I would come even if it wasn't ordered after all your son gave me the day off so I have no where else to be at the moment" she replies he nods... Spock had told Kirk of Anansa's concerns about Thelev after they find out that someone has been communicating with a unknown ship that has been following them since Vulcan or quite possibly before that and Kirk finds out that her concerns were meritable and ends up in a brawl with him in one of the corridors but before that happens he and Spock go to Sickbay to check on Spock's father Spock was sad to find Christine helping Bones out "she left to let me rest" Sarek tells him "and I would approve" he adds Spock raises a eyebrow at his father for he had no idea what he was referring to even Christine was confused for she missed Anansa's arrival and didn't hear her teasing the Vulcan Ambassador and his wife Amanda on the other hand was smiling.... Anansa returns to Sickbay as Spock and Bones try to figure out a safe way to conduct surgery on Sarek she helps Sarek fall asleep using the same Vulcan lullaby Spock sang for her and she sang for Spock once Sarek fell asleep Anansa says to Amanda "go see how their progress is going, I'll stay with him" Amanda hugs her with a smile then walks into the room her son, the ships doctor and the nurse are in.... a few minutes after Amanda leaves the room Anansa hears Bones say from the doorway "will you tell your Commander he's being impossible!" she turns in her chair and looks at him with a raised eyebrow as she says with a slight coo in her tone and a smile "my Commander!?!" hearing her voice Spock walks over to the doorway and sees the woman he loves smiling at him "what have you done now!?!" she asks "I am simply offering the only alternative to the problem at hand and myself as the blood donor" he replies she nods then says "and they're refusing to let you, you should look at this from their standpoint one is your mother the other is a doctor who prefers to save lives not kill them perhaps.... if you believe your father has enough time you could allow Bones to weigh the pros and cons of the situation and test to see if he can find a way to be able to save both of you it may ease both of their minds and hearts.... as far as I know you've never needed surgery before so this would be his first time doing so so that is another addition to the problem at hand I'll help in whatever way I can but even I am at a loss with all this" he nods then replies "sounds reasonable" he turns to Bones and says as he hands him the yellow disk he's holding "I'll be at my station until you require me" then he leaves "you're actually going to allow him to go through with this!?!" Bones asks "it's his life he should be able to choose what he does with it fact of the matter is Bones in some strange way this proves he has faith in your skills as a doctor and trusts that you will succeed not only that but he's stubborn and refuses to back down once he's made up his mind about something he believes in I'm sure he's aware of the risks involved and has calculated as many alternatives as the both of you could find besides I'm his Yeoman what sort of power do you think I have over him and the decisions he makes doctor!?!" Anansa replies Bones raises a eyebrow at her it took him less than a second to realize that Christine is the only one who is "left in the dark" about the fact that Anansa and Spock not only live together now but are considered a couple in a way that seems like they skipped the boyfriend/girlfriend stage and went straight to being married and that Spock would in fact listen to her if she told him not to go through with it he clamps his mouth shut for he knows that in her own way Anansa is trying to save Christine the heartbreak of losing hope that she.... in her own mind/heart.... has a chance with him especially with how the nurse takes every little thing to heart and might not be able to fulfil her duties as well as she normally does if she finds out the truth now.... Anansa leaves Sickbay for a minute or so then comes back with Spock's Lute then sits on the bed next to Sarek and starts playing Christine looks at her oddly but Amanda smiles Anansa stops playing when Spock carries a wounded Kirk into Sickbay but only for a second for Sarek seemed to react to her stopping her song Spock hides a smile which she sees shine in his eyes
