3rd POV
After their crazy rendezvous outside the city ,
The three went to their respective rooms,
"My lady, do you -"
Violette's maid was cut off by another voice .
"What a lovely sight "
They both knew who it was.
Calmly turning towards the trickster, Violette smiled ,
"What an honor to be visited by you, Lord Loki, but do you know it's not appropriate to visit a woman's room without permission"
Loki laughed and flew towards her,
"I don't think I need a permission for it"
"Lord Loki, please leave the room.."
The maid stuttered out.
"Was I talking to you ?"
The maid bowed and shook her head,
"No, I'm sorry, my lord "
The goddess only stared at him, but her smile was replaced with a glare,
"Mind your manners trickster, I know of your reputation"
"My, my, and what have you heard about my reputation?"
The god caressed her cheeks, twirling her hair between his fingers,
"You know, you're very beautiful ..."
On contrast to what nonsense Loki was blurting out, Violette was thinking of ways to torture the god .
"I would appreciate it if you would step away from me "
The goddess warned, not wanting to cause a scene, much less in another god's palace, from another pantheon.
The god's face was only a few centimetres away from hers.
"And what will you do, hmm...?
I can just -"
Before he can utter another word, they felt another presence .
A strong presence .
Loki dodged the incoming object that passed through between him and the goddess .
"Ahhhhh....!!"
The maid screamed,
Violette was shocked too, but she managed to pull the maid beside her .
The three of them managed to look at the punctured wall after the dusts had resided.
Their eyes widened at the weapon impaled on the wall, it was a weapon they all knew too well .
Looking towards the door,
They were stunned ,
Standing there was Poseidon glaring at the said god,
"Lord Poseidon ..."
Violette whispered and backed away with the maid, as she felt that the maid started shivering at the tyrant's presence .
The sea god then turned to the goddess, ensuring that she was okay,
After making sure of it, he walked towards the trickster .
Poseidon was really tall comparing to the other god, towering over him,
"Touch her again, and I will not miss "
Loki merely chuckled and disappeared .
Poseidon removed his trident from the wall and turned towards the goddess,
The two only stared at each other before Violette ushered the maid to return to her work .
The maid gladly ran out of the room .
Walking up to the god, she embraced him,
"Lord Poseidon, thank you "
The god sighed before returning her embrace, wrapping his arm around her waist, since the other one was holding his trident .
"Did he do anything else to you?"
"No, he didn't "
Violette reassured him.
Breaking free from the hug, she smiled
"By the way, you deliberately missed that shot, didn't you "
Poseidon kept quiet, which only solidified her answer,
"I could have beaten his ass though "
She pouted and looked away, walking to the exit .
Poseidon smiled, a small curve of his lips which the oblivious goddess missed.
"Of course you could have, my precious pearl"
He whispered and followed the goddess .
They both went down the dining hall,
"Greetings, Lord Odin, Hades "
Violette greeted the two gods present in the room.
Taking a seat beside Hades, while Poseidon quietly sat on her other side,
she turned to the Allfather .
"May I ask where,Lord Thor and Lord Loki is ?"
"They seem to be running late from an errand I sent "
The god replied, nodding to the servants .
"Doens't matter, we will have dinner "
The servants bowed and served the dishes.
During the midst of dinner, Thor and Loki came in.
"My, my, it seems everyone started without us "
Loki grinned .
Moving his gaze to the female, he kicked his lips,
"Hello, lady Violette, good evening "
The goddess smiled ,
"G'evening to you too, lord Loki "
And just like that she poured Poseidon and Hades more wine, since their glasses were already empty .
She stood up, went up to Odin's side and poured his glass of wine .
"Thank you, little one, although you could have let the servants do it "
"My pleasure, Lord Odin, and its alright, I did it cause I wanted to "
She smiled and went back to her seat .
Thor and Loki took their place, after which, their dinner was served .
"Lord Thor"
This seemed to get everyone's attention.
The thunder god looked up from his plate.
"I heard you went to the other side of the wall, what was it like? Did you see the Jötnars? If so, did they attack you? How big are they? I heard about them being giants but never saw one up close ..."
The young goddess was going on and on, until Hades decided to stop her before she asks too much .
"My dear "
"Hmm?"
"Ask one question at a time, and also, it is dinner time, first eat, then you can ask the questions later, okay?"
"Oh, I'm so sorry, I got carried away..I was just so excited I didn't know "
She blushed and looked down , fidgeting with her fingers .
"You should know when to ask and when not to, you fool"
Poseidon commented .
Puffing her cheeks, feeling offended, she turned towards the god,
" And you should know how to talk according to the situations "
Feeling her stare, he looked at her,
To be honest he found her angry face quite lovely,
" If you're a lady, you should -"
"Shush"
She placed her finger on his lips, stopping him from talking further .
He was stunned, the entire table was surprised ,
Except Odin, who was rather amused with it.
Thor was looking at the scene, not sure what was going on .
While Loki was snickering out loud.
"I-"
"Shuuuussh!!!"
"Look here young man, don't you dare speak another word "
Hades was quite entertained with the situation .
"I'm older than you "
Poseidon stated .
"Can you not ? For once? Let me finish "
Violette stood up, placing her hands on her hips .
The god stared at her ,
His eyes boring into her own .
"Okay ,okay, you two, finish your beef later, for now, finish your dinner "
Hades pulled the goddess to her seat.
"You're really my type, I would love to get to know you more, goddess "
Loki winked at the oblivious woman,
"Uh, sure "
Hades was not happy with the trickster, but he didn't show it ,
While Poseidon was another story, he was glaring at the Norse god .
"I am done with dinner.."
Violette stood and bowed at Odin,
"..thank you for dinner, it was really appetizing "
Odin only nodded, Violette taking that as a sign, exited the hall .
Walking in the hallway, she heard footsteps behind her,
" Did you finish dinner too? Hades"
"I'm afraid, I finished before you did "
Was Hades' reply ,
He soon caught up to her, due to his longer steps .
"Did you enjoy dinner ?"
"Of course, it was delicious "
"Where is Lord Poseidon ?"
"I left him there, he must be making his way back too now "
They soon reach their rooms,
"Well then, good night Hades"
"Good night to you as well, princess"
Hades smiled, taking her hand and kissing it .
Before she could close the door, Hades stopped it with his foot,
"Huh? Is something wr-"
The god placed a quick kiss on her cheeks,
Smiling , he bid her goodnight and went to his room.
Violette was frozen to her feet,
She touched the cheek that Hades placed a kiss on,
Contemplating the scenario that just happened,
'Maybe friends do these things too'
"Hmm...oh well"
She closed the door .
Poseidon who saw everything was raging inside ,
'How dare his brother try to take what was his'
He will make sure everyone knows who she belongs to.
