It was Thanksgiving day.
Han's first thanksgiving.
It's been 4 months since they've adopted him.
Jungkook waited for han outside
his school. Leaning on the
car.
Mothers and teachers looking at him up and down.
The bell rang and han runs over to jungkook hugging him tightly as his little arms could.
Jungkook said, "How was school today?"
He showed him his golden stars stickers on the collar of his shirt and jungkook chuckled.
Single Mothers who were picking up their kid were drooling over jungkook.
Jungkook gave them a simple
smile and they smiled back at
him.
They got home and han ran to taehyung hugging him. Showing him his stars that he got. Jungkook kissed taehyung.
he said, "Get changed we have guests coming over here in about two hours."
Taehyung was making a feast for everyone.
As taehyung worked in the
kitchen, han sat on the stairs staring at him as he cooked.
Jungkook sat beside han and
asked, "What are you staring
at?" He smiled and said, "Mom won't let me have a cornbread."
Jungkook chuckled and picked him up. Tiptoeing to the island
where tae kept a basket of
bread.
Before jungkook could grab the
bread, taehyung said: "Not before
dinner."
Without even turning around.
Jungkook was shocked.
How could he know?
Tae turned around with a
smile on his face. His hands
on his hips as he asked: "Who was planning to steal
it?"
Han and jungkook pointed to each other making him giggle.
Tae took the bread and split it
in half. Giving one to jungkook and the other to han.
Jungkook kissed him and asked,
"How did you know?"
he shrugged " Motherly and wife instincts." Making him chuckle.
Hours later, tae set the food
on the table. Jungkook's jaw dropped there was just so much food.
He asked," Are you sure?" Tae smiled sheepishly and said "I couldn't hold myself. It's his first."
Han said, "This looks, great mom!." Making them laugh.
Shortly after, guests arrived.
Taehyung has invited jungkook's grandmother, jimin, and his fiancé.
Jimin arrived and taehyung saw
Tanya as well.
Jungkook held on to han and whispered to taehyung "Why is she here?"
Taehyung smiles and said, "I couldn't let her spend her thanksgiving alone."
"Do you remember what she did you?"
"I do. And I want that all behind me now"
Tanya was shy and embarrassed by meeting them all.
This was the first time emily saw Tanya like this. She smiled at taehyung and taehyung hugged her.
he was taken back by her hug but wrapped her arms around her as well.
Jimin was happy by seeing 5 pies on the table. His favorite.
Taehyung put the turkey right in the middle. Handing jungkook the big knife as he cut the turkey for everyone.
Taehyung looked around his
table. Smiles, laughter, his
son, jungkook. It was just a happy
moment. Jungkook sat at the head seat.
Taehyung sat on his right followed by their son, and grandma.
Jimin sat on jungkook's left, followed by Tanya and his
fiancé.
Jungkook couldn't believe that he
finally got the love that he always wished for. The love he always needed...
everyone loved han. Jimin
played with him. Gran loved
him a lot.
After the thanksgiving dinner, everyone sat on the couch.
Talking, laughing. Taehyung stood up and jungkook looked at him
confused..
everyone quiet down for him to speak. he smiled and said "This thanksgiving I'm grateful for everyone in this room. My husband. My son. Grandma. Jimin. Suga and even you Tanya."
Tanya shot up to look at him
and tears formed in her eyes. She mouthed"Thank you."
taehyung smiled and continued saying"I'm also grateful for one more thing."
he looked and held out his
hand.
He took his hand and got up.
Tae wrapped his arms around his waist and jungkook smiled down at him...
Tae kissed him and said, "I can't wait to be a family of four with you now."
His smile disappeared. everyone sat their shock.
Taehyung laughed and said, "I'm
pregnant."
Jungkook hugged him and
everyone got up to congratulate him.
Jungkook asked, "How long?"
he smiled and replied "2 months. I
just confirmed today that everything is fine with me. My uterus is perfectly
healing." He hugged him
again.
Tanya asked " taehyung can I talk
to you alone for a second?"
Taehyung smiled and nodded. Jungkook looked at him pleading with his eye not to go. But he did.
They both went out of the house, out the backyard garden.
Tanya kneeled down in front of her and cried "I'm so sorry. I'm so so so sorry."
Taehyung kneeled holding his face shocked. Tanya's eyes
were red from crying.
Taehyung smiled and said, "I forgave you the day David went to prison."
"I'm so sorry. When I went to prison, I had a lot of time to think about so many things. What I did to you is not forgivable."
Taehyung hugged her, calming her down "It's okay. You were just under the influence of bad people."
Taehyung's tears rolled down his cheek. he looked at Tanya and said "You're one of the good ones. Don't ruin your future. Please. Have you thought about what you wanna do?"
She nodded her head " I was thinking to go back to university. Finish my
law degree."
"That's wonderful."
"But I don't have anyone's support. Jimin says that he will but he doesn't mean it".
"Well, you have mine. All the way. I'll support you through everything and anything. But promise me one thing. You will never break my trust in you. And you will stand up on your feet. Known as Tanya Parker; the lawyer who wronged the wrong people. Not the daughter of David Parker. Promise me that."
She hugged her tightly whispering "Thank you. Thank
you."
After a couple of hours,
everyone was gone.
Taehyung looked himself in the mirror. Most of his bruises were slowly fading.
he lifted up his shirt and touched his stomach. Smiling at it.
he looked up and saw jungkook in the mirror with a frown on his face. he turned around and asked, "What's wrong?"
"Are you sure about this,
baby?"
"About what?"
"Having a child."
"Why? Are you not?"
"I'm happy that I get to have a child with you."
"But?"
"But......... I'm more afraid
to lose you. I can't lose you,
Taehyung."
"You won't. The doctor said
that everything is fine with me. My stomach is perfect from inside. And that we have a greater chance to give birth to a baby. Our baby, jungkook."
He was glowing with
happiness and jungkook didn't want to shatter it. He held him close and kissed him.
