Anansa walks onto the Bridge and over to Spock just as Outpost 4 along the Romulan Neutral Zone is destroyed she hides her head on Spock's shoulders and he subconsciously cups her shoulder with his hand she slides out of his embrace and walks over to Spock's console as the mystery ship "disappears" and he follows "Outpost 4.... disintegrated Captain" Spock says after he checks his consoles report that she had brought up for him "position of the intruder, Mr. Spock" Kirk says "disappeared interesting how they became visible for just a moment" Spock replies "when they opened fire perhaps necessary when they use their weapons" Kirk says "I have a blip on the motion sensor, Captain could be the intruder" Spock says Kirk turns and orders "go to full magnification" Sulu says "screen is on full mag, Sir" Kirk looks at the Viewscreen and says "I don't see anything I can't understand it" Spock tells Kirk "invisibility is theoretically possible, Captain the selective bending of light but the power cost is enormous they may have solved that problem" Uhura informs Kirk "continuing to Challenge, Sir still no response" Kirk says "discontinue contact remaining Outposts, have them Signal us any sightings or Sensor Readings in their area" Uhura replies "yes, Captain" Spock says "blip has changed it's Heading, Captain and in a very leisurely maneuver they may not be aware of us" Kirk replies "their invisibility screen may work both ways with that kind of power consumption.... they may not be able to see us" Spock says "his Heading is now 111.... Mark 14 the exact Heading a Romulan Vessel would take, Jim-- toward the Neutral Zone.... and home" Kirk walks around the Bridge and says as he passes by Sulu's station "parallel course" Lieutenant Stiles who is working the Navigation Station asks "don't you mean interception course, Sir?" Anansa replies "don't allow your need for revenge and hatred for a species you have yet to even see take over your duty" Stiles looks at her and says "shut up freak!" she replies "I'm not the one contradicting the Captains orders and I may be a freak to you but I have just as much right to speak my mind as you do besides you may out rank me but you are not my boss so I think it's best that you never try to order me around ever again especially in such a disrespectful manner boy! and if you can't do what you're told then step out of that chair and allow someone who can!" he asks with a rude tone "like you!?!" she replies with a matter of fact tone "precisely!" Sulu chuckles as Stiles turns his attention back to his console Kirk smiles for everyone on the Bridge knows that she can very well handle every station in the entire ship with supreme accuracy "though I would respectfully recommend we stick with a security alert, just to be safe, Captian" she says looking at Kirk "I agree, Sir" Sulu says "very well all decks, Security Alert" Kirk replies as he heads back to his chair "Security Alert, Sir" Sulu says "picking up Communication, Sir it's from their ship" Uhura says "pipe it in" Kirk replies "sounds like code, Sir" Uhura says after she's done as she was told "we have a fix on it, Captain" Spock says as he and Anansa work on his console together Kirk stands up out of his chair and walks over to where Spock and Anansa are as Spock says "I believe we can lock on it, get a picture of their Bridge" Kirk replies "put it on screen" Spock does as he's told and they see a group of men with strange looking helmets on and one man without a helmet who turns around and when he turns they see that the man has Vulcan like features "oh boy!" Anansa whispers Spock looks at her with a curious expression on his face she nods over at Stiles who looks at the man on the Viewscreen then Spock and Spock begins to understand what she was referring to and feels her place her hand on his shoulder and spins him back around in his chair so that he was facing his console and he smiles she walks over to Uhura's station and listens to the coded message Uhura looks at her "I was curious if their coding is similar to Vulcan" Anansa says softly Uhura nods "no I don't think Spock is a Romulan after all from the look on the man we saw on the Viewscreens face it's possible they embrace their emotions but they could be distant cousins or perhaps a group of "ex" Vulcans who left Vulcan a very long time ago so they didn't have to follow the teachings of Surak I even doubt they'd be any more welcome on Vulcan than humans are besides even if I did think what Stiles thinks I don't condemn one person for the faults of the many the Romulans may have done Earthlings wrong but as far as I can recall Spock never has" Anansa whispers Uhura smiles she walks over to Spock with the tape Uhura made and asks "do you think they were away during the war and don't know about the Treaty!?" he looks at her with a raised eyebrow "there was a Treaty wasn't there!? the Neutral Zone wouldn't have been made without it would it!?" she asks "there was and it could be possible" he replies "or he could be another Stiles or worse" she says he smiles she slides one of her tails along his cheek then leaves the Bridge.... a few minutes later they were back to Battle Stations Anansa sighs and rolls her eyes "don't you humans know that war is never the answer!?" she whispers to herself losing the small bit of appetite she had she covers her food and puts it in her fridge for later then she heads back to the Bridge where a comet is seen on the viewscreen "almost looks like my tails wouldn't you say Star!?" she says with a smile Uhura smiles Spock looks at Anansa and sees the sadness in her eyes as she turns back around and walks back out Spock knew why she left she didn't want to become a part of a war which was bound to happen one way or another she comes back onto the Bridge and helps him try and fix the Phaser Overloaded burnt out Circuit with the area being so small her and Spock's hands kept "meeting" each other as they worked which Spock tried very hard to ignore so he could focus on the task at hand.... no pun intended.... "Captain, are they surrendering?" Sulu asks as the Romulan ship becomes visible and is shown on the Viewscreen "I'd say they're pissed" Anansa says softly Spock looks at her Kirk hides a smile then says as he moves to sit in his chair and sees the Romulan ship attack then disappear "full Astern! Emergency Warp Speed!" after a pause he asks "do we have Emergency Warp?" Sulu replies "full power, Sir it's still overtaking us" after a pause he says "if we can get one phaser working, Sir one shot will detonate it" Kirk says "Navigation?" Stiles replies "estimate it will overtake us in 2 minutes, Sir" Kirk says "Phasers, Mr. Spock?" Spock replies "impossible, Captain" at about 10 seconds to impact the blast from the Romulan weapon starts to dissipate which means they found the range limit of the weapon fired and yet the Enterprise still felt the impact of what was left behind and Spock grabs ahold of Anansa and hugs her so she doesn't get hit by the frame of the Compartment they were working in once the impact subsides he lets her go and they finish their work then help each other stand "Phasers operational, Captain" Spock says once they're on their feet then he looks through the scope at his station and says "intruder baring 111 Mark 14" Kirk replies "back to his old course" Spock says "he may think we're destroyed, Captain" Kirk replies "I wouldn't make that assumption I don't think their Captain will, either" Anansa says "perhaps he just wants to go home but I'm betting you're not going to let him" Kirk smiles at her "intruder holding steady course 111 Mark 14" Spock says Sulu looks back at Kirk then at the View Screen "same as before, Mr. Sulu stay with him" Kirk says Sulu moves the Enterprise so that it once again shadows the Romulan ship Anansa smiles at Spock who looks at her with a raised eyebrow "I've got your station you go bother Stiles" she whispers he smirks then walks over to the Navigation Station and leans over Stiles' shoulder, looks down at the console then up at the Viewscreen and at Stiles who looks at him then he walks away "we'll enter the Neutral Zone in one minute, Captain" Stiles says "do we violate the Treaty, Captain?" Bones asks "they did, doctor" Spock replies "once inside they can claim we did-- a setup they want war we furnish the provocation" Bones says "we're still on our side, Captain" Spock says "let's get them while we are before we enter the Neutral Zone" Kirk replies then he orders "full ahead, Mr. Sulu Maximum Warp" Sulu replies "ahead, Sir-- maximum" Anansa shakes her head but says nothing after all they have the right to make the Romulan pay for the deaths he caused when he attacked the Outposts but she wonders if this way not only is the right way but the only way to do so "Phasers, standby" Kirk says "Sir, at this distance...." Stiles replies "we know their Achilles Heel, Mr. Stiles their weapon takes all their energy they must become visible in order to launch it" Kirk says "a Phaser hit at this distance would be the wildest stroke of luck" Stiles replies "I'm aware of that, Mr. Stiles are Phasers ready?" Kirk asks "Phasers show ready, Sir" Stiles replies and Kirk orders him to fire....
The Romulans send debris towards the Enterprise including the dead body of one of their own "why would they do that!?!" Anansa whispers softly "it's just a trick" Spock says "I know that but why would they throw one of their own out with the trash!?! it just doesn't seem right!" she replies he cups her arm with his hand then says "don't you even think about it!" she replies "thinking and doing are two very different things Mr. Spock" he shakes his head she walks away and off the Bridge once more.... the Romulan Commander is shocked to see his dead Centurion be beamed aboard his ship with a note attached to it that said "never disrespect your dead like that again!" he chuckles as he reads the note which was written in one of the most beautiful calligraphy's he's ever seen and he places it within the pocket of his uniform promising himself that he would listen to the note this time and yet he wasn't sure why he felt the desire to listen to it for he believed whoever wrote it was on the enemy ship perhaps that was why for he now knows there is at least one possibly female from the way the writing on the paper looked that cared about everyone on both ships which he found intriguing and he hoped above all else that no matter what this mysterious woman lives even if he has to save her himself then again he has to figure out which woman on that ship was the one who sent his friend back to him he was most curious as to how she found him and if the others know.... no if they knew they'd be firing at his ship once more so one would suppose his question would be why she kept the secret of where his ship is from the others perhaps there is someone aboard that ship that doesn't want the war he wishes to fight.... after being woken up by a explosion that shook the ship and made the lights go out for a moment or two Anansa heads to Sickbay to help Bones with the casualties which thankfully were mainly burns and no deaths so far.... the Romulan Commander gets to see who he believes sent his friend back to his ship just before he has his ship self destruct and she was the most beautiful creature he has ever seen with many tails and ears of a animal he isn't sure the name of possibly a Earth creature and he was glad to see it before he died....
Anansa walks onto the Bridge and hears Spock say to Kirk "I can't understand why it always gives you pleasure to see me proven wrong" and Kirk reply "an emotional Earth weakness of mine" she chuckles softly and both men turn to face her then turn their attention back to the Viewscreen "there it is" Kirk says as a "lifeless" spacecraft is seen on the Viewscreen "an old Earth Vessel similar to the DY-500 class" Kirk says "much older DY-100 class, to be exact" Spock replies after a pause he adds "Captain.... the last such vessel was built Centuries ago, back in the 1990's" Kirk says "then it's derelict, it's signal left on automatic" Anansa asks "wasn't the SS Botany Bay launched from Earth in '96 during the Eugenics Wars!?" Kirk looks at her with a raised eyebrow "I read a lot" she says with a shrug he chuckles "I wanted to learn as much as I could about your home and reading was a good way of doing it especially it's history I'm no expert mind but I did try to learn as much as I could" she says he smiles "would anyone still be alive on it after all these years?! after all it doesn't seem to be well maintained... at least as far as we can tell from this vantagepoint perhaps they're in stasis the Botany Bay was a sleeper ship" she asks Kirk hums thoughtfully then clicks on his com and says "weapons status" a male officer replies "Deflector Shields on maximum Phasers manned, Sir" Kirk clicks the com off then back on and says "Bio-Scanner report" Bones replies "Life Science Bio-Scanners are picking up heartbeats from over there can't be human though-- they're too faint and average only 4 beats per minute" Spock who had walked over to his station as Anansa and Kirk spoke to one another says "sensor reading, Captain some sort of equipment functioning on that vessel" Kirk clicks on the com once more and says "all Decks, go to Full Alert".... it is soon found out that Anansa's guess was correct and Kirk orders for a tractor beam to grab ahold of the US Botany Bay then he, Scotty and Bones along with the historian Lieutenant Maria McGivers beam aboard the ship Kirk had asked Anansa to go but this time she refused and he was never one to force her to do anything she didn't want to Spock began to wonder how Anansa knew about the ship when he found no record of it but before he could ask her any questions she had left the Bridge to go help Bones with the man he brought aboard from said ship.... "Bones your patient's awake" Bones hears Anansa say from the doorway that leads to the Examination Room he didn't even realize she had walked in to Sickbay he turns in his chair and stares at her with a surprised expression on his face she turns to face him and says with a smile "sorry you seemed busy so I "made myself at home" as you Earth people say oh and I made you some coffee" she points to the cup of hot dark liquid on his desk "try not to throw it at him he seems to think himself some sort of superior being as for me, I'm not all that impressed by him" she says before walking out of the room Bones chuckles at her departing figure then walks towards and into the Examination Room where his patient was staring at the spot she just left unmovingly with a infatuated expression on his face "she does have that effect on people" he whispers to himself with a soft chuckle and a smile the man stares at him.... Spock watches as Anansa walks onto the Bridge and is quite surprised that this time she's hiding her tails usually she always has them be shown unless they're in a crowded area he realizes that someone once again made her feel uncomfortable which is why she hides her tails which reappear and twitch happily as she walks over to him "how did you know!?!" he asks softly she looks at him curiously "there is no record of the Botany Bay so how did you know about it!?!" he asks "there is always a record somewhere just because it isn't in the Starfleet's library doesn't mean it doesn't exist" she replies he shakes his head with a smile "I'm not sure I trust Bones' new patient, Marla seems smitten though" she tells him "I would not worry too much" he replies "with the way he was looking at me you might just change your mind" she says he raises a eyebrow at her "it was more than him never seeing a Kitsune before it was like he believed he could claim ownership of me with just a look" she tells him he tries his best to hide his anger "as if I'm that susceptible!" she says he smiles "I think he may have been one of the enhanced he definitely has the ego for it!" she adds his smile grows "I'll be fine Spock I've got you I don't need anyone else!" she tells him as she slides one of her tails along his cheek "now if you'll excuse me I'm going to pick on Star her shoulders look like they could use some warming up" she says then she walks over to Uhura and lays/wraps one of her tails along her shoulders like a fur boa/stole and Uhura smiles as she pets the tail and playfully acts all fancy which is what she always does when her friend wraps/lays one of her tails along her shoulders.... mainly when she's sitting.... and Spock softly chuckles....
When Kirk enters the Bridge he informs Anansa and Spock about a banquet he's planning and he asks Anansa if she'd cook it for him he was surprised when she refused "I just don't see the allure Captain" she tells him he smiles then replies "of course you don't!" she raises her eyebrow at him and he laughs.... a few minutes later Spock is surprised to see Anansa who normally allows gorgeous soft hair to flow along her shoulders and down her back had it up in a unique styled updo/braid as she helps the other Yeoman set up the table he soon sees why for as soon as Khan saw her a look of anger flashed over his face and disappeared as quickly as it came and Spock smiles.... Anansa stays on the side of the table where Spock and Uhura sit as she helps her fellow Yeoman serve the men and women at the table teasingly sliding one of her tails along Uhura, Kirk and Spock's shoulders Uhura smiles at her, Spock raises his eyebrow at her and Kirk takes the chance to pet her tail which is something he rarely gets to do she does the same with Bones and Scotty as she begins to leave the room "I'd hate for you two to feel left out!" she teases Scotty chuckles Bones rolls his eyes Khan seemed somewhat amused and jealous of her actions for he saw that she completely ignored him luckily he had McGivers to distract him for she was susceptible to his "magnetism" and will do whatever he wished her to do but he really wanted to get to know the Foxy Woman.... Spock enters Anansa's quarters using his code "could you help me with something Mr. Spock?!" he hears her ask from her bathroom and he raises his eyebrow then walks over to her open bathroom door and sees her trying to undo her hair and seemed to have tangled one of her pins in her hair as she was doing so "first time trying this myself Star usually did it when she got bored when we were dormmates in the Academy I think I did it too fast not to mention it's in the back so it's kind of hard to see I was actually going to call Star to see if she could assist but since you're here" she tells him he walks over and carefully tries to unknot the pin that is "locked" in her hair and as he does so he asks "who are you trying to impress!?" she replies "the mirror!" he raises a eyebrow at her which she sees through the mirror "the computer then!? the only things that can see me are you, me, the mirror and the computer and you're quite hard to impress" she says after a pause she says "I was curious...." he asks "curious!?" she replies "McGivers a woman who always has her hair up meets a stranger then all of a sudden puts her hair down possibly because he suggested it I suppose you could say I was testing his reaction just as he said your conversation with him was testing him he didn't seem all that happy that I had put my hair up as for the tail.... do you honestly expect me to change who I am and how I treat my friends just because HE'S around!?!" his eyes become sad "yes I know that is not the way a server should act but....!" she says she feels him lower his hands then says "thank you" before walking around him and out of the bathroom he watches her walk away with sad eyes "I'm guessing his "next order of conquest" is to try and take over the ship and he'll use her to help him for at this moment she's the only one "on his side" and will do whatever he asks because she's infatuated by him and what he represents and she's weak enough to follow him like the lost little lamb that she is!" she says as she brushes the snarls out of her hair he raises a eyebrow at her "she's a sheep looking for a shepherd yes I know they usually use "puppy" but that's a insult to my kind" she says he smiles
