Chapter 22: Not Guilty
He rolls over me, trying to catch his breath. I close my eyes drawing the most silliest on my lips after spending hours in bed with him. Consuming by him, satisfied by him.
I turn to look at him. His eyes are closed. Looks tired and flustered.
"We're so fucked up" I say softly circling on his chest. "We're a fucking mess" he says turning his back, looking at me, smiling.
I smile like a manic and then I say. "We slept together" I say excitedly. He smiles, lick his fruity lips. "We slept together" he repeats. I don't know why we're grinning at each other like some lovey dovey high school couples.
Then it hit me. My smiles fades. His smiles fade as he sees mine fading. "Stefan, we slept together" horror rushes on my face. He squints his eyebrows. "Yes, Elena we slept together" he looks at me like I can't believe we did it.
"No, fuck. Stefan! We slept together" I yell getting up. Grabbing the blanket to cover my naked body. I'm holding on it against my chest. He gets up. He's covered in blanket but only his lower half. He cracks a laugh hysterically. "Yes, we did. What's wrong in that?" He asks leaning down and kisses my shoulder.
"Why don't you get it that we slept together. You're engaged. With Katherine. And I've a boyfriend, Nathan" I tell him.
"We cheated on them" I tell him bluntly. Stefan sighs. "Don't do this now. Don't bring them up. I don't want to hear about them" he says throwing himself on bed causes his blanket to let go off him and then his little him peaks out. I lick my lip but choose to ignore it. It was inside me like five minutes ago.
"How can you be so relaxed?" I tell him. He gets up a little, grope both of my arms and make me fall on the top of him.
"Just like this" he says brushing my hair off my face, capturing my lips again. I kiss him back, running my hand against his chest.
"But.." I say against his lips. But he rolls me over starts kissing my neck, my breasts, my stomach and then ahem ahem. Okay, I can just forget about Katherine and Nathan for the night.

I sneak out of Stefan's room in the morning. I've made love, lust, sex whatever it's called, with him. I don't know how am I going to face him now. Because things are different between us. I'm thoroughly feeling guilty for cheating on Nathan with Stefan.
I'm now at office, making presentations for our upcoming projects. I don't feel like I'm just the CFO. I basically handle everything and my boss just flies flies. I sigh as I arrange the documents.
Suddenly a pair of hands grope me from behind. I yelp as I turn back ready to punch whoever it is. He backs away immediately, throwing his hand in surrender.
"Woh! Oh! Woman. Easy" he tells me. I sigh, closing my eyes. "Why aren't you familiar with my touch. You should be known by now" he says pulling me by my waist. He leans down my lips and kisses me. I let him. Moaning into his mouth.
"Hmmmm, Stefan." I smooch "We're in the office" I tell him trying to be professional. He smirks. "We can make our own office" he tells me leaning again to kiss me but I lean back away from him.
"No, no, no. Not now. We've messed up. We need to fix things first, Stefan" he sighs letting me free from his hold.
"I don't want to talk about it" he says walking away. "No, we've to. We cheated on them. They don't deserve it" I tell him in a serious voice.
He looks at me. "Well, Katherine isn't a problem. I mean it's not new to her" he tells me. I roll my eyes. "But Nathan isn't like that. He trusts me. And I broke it." I inform him sadly.
He says nothing but just looking at me. "Say something" I say softly.
He scratches his forehead. "Well, it seems like you're more upset for cheating on Nathan with me than excited to be with me, Elena. We slept together and now you're feeling guilty about it" he says sternly. That's not what I meant though.
"Stefan" I bite my lip. "I don't regret sleeping with you. I'll never because I love you and I want to be with you but the way everything has started... It's messy. How are we going to fix it?" I ask him.
He chuckles sinisterly. "No, it's you to fix. I've said yes to Katherine but you made a huge deal about it. You made me confess what I really felt for you and then you let me had my with you" he says bitterly. I look at him astonished.
"You didn't just say that" I tilt my head, pointing my index finger at him. He nods. "Yes, I did. I don't regret for cheating on Katherine with you because she doesn't care about me. I only accepted her because of the money. She would give a zero fuck about who I fuck." He tells me.
I wrinkle my forehead. "I'm not for fuck, Stefan. You're ridiculing yourself" I tell him. It offended me the way he said it.
"No, Elena. I said the right thing. It's your problem. You've problem with us sleeping together but let me tell you one thing there's no power in the world that can make me feel guilty for sleeping with you. I don't regret a damn thing. I love you. I confessed my feelings for you. We had sex because we're adults." He tells me wiggling his eyebrows, looking frustrated. I just make him frustrated. Why I make everything bad for myself.
I cross my arms as he tells me. We don't say anything just staring at each other. "Fuck it" I mumble, uncrossing my arms, rushes to get to him, grab his face, pulls him closer and brush his lips on mine's.
