It's the next day and Fatima just gets up. showered, did her morning routine, and headed downstairs.
Violet: Good morning baby
Fatima: Good morning momma. Where's everyone?
Violet: They went out to handle some business.
Fatima: Oh okay then.
Violet: How are you feeling?
Fatima: I feel okay.
Violet: You want breakfast?
Fatima: Sure I'll take something.
Violet: Have you talked to Kiya?
Fatima: Not since we left the hospital last night. Ima call her a lil later, just want them to have their moment.
Violet: I can understand that.
Fatima: They just went through a lot, and they just need this time for themselves.
Violet: Whatcha got planned for today?
Fatima: I actually have a lunch date with Tia. She called me this morning to have lunch with her.
Violet: Okay then. Your father and I have a dinner date tonight.
Fatima: I can't even remember the last time I been on a date.
Violet: What about your girls?
Fatima: That's different momma. I'm talking about a date with a man.
Violet: Ohhh, gotcha.
Fatima: And even with my girls, they aren't dates. It's just a group of us going out and gasping over drinks.
Violet: I see. So when are you going back to Atlanta?
Fatima: Probably in the next couple days. Just wanna make sure Kiya straight before I leave back out.
Violet: You have a good heart. Everybody needs someone like you in their corner.
Fatima: I do my best to be there for the ones I love.
Violet: So are you going to tell me the real reason why you flew to Jamaica in the middle of the week and didn't tell anyone?
Fatima: Ma I got some information but you have to promise not to tell anyone, not even daddy. Because I'm not even supposed to know this information.
Violet: I promise I want tell anyone.
Fatima: So the real reason why I went to Jamaica is because, I've been following this young girl that could possibly be my niece and your granddaughter.
Violet: Wait, what you mean?
Fatima: One second I'll be right back.
Fatima went into her office to grab an envelope, and goes back into the kitchen and gives it to her mom.
Fatima: Here read it.
Violet: What's this?
Fatima: You remember Brittany Washington?
Violet: You talking about Ty childhood girlfriend right?
Fatima: Yes, well turns out the real reason she left wasn't because her parents decided to up and move away. It was because she got pregnant and her parents kicked her out on the streets, her parents never moved.
Violet: What are you saying?
Fatima: Well a year later Brittany end up having a baby girl name Aaliyah Imani Washington. And word is after she had the baby, Brittany end up meeting this guy and got addicted to drugs and the baby was taken from her. Well a couple months ago Brittany opened up an investigation to try to find her daughter.
Violet: So you telling me I could possibly have a granddaughter?
Fatima: Yes,
Violet: Wow
Fatima: I have a friend who works in the investigative department and she gave me the information. So I had my team to track the young girl down and turns out she's been working in Jamaica at a bar for the past 6 months, so I flew to Jamaica to find her, and let's just say that I did. We talked and she's such a beautiful and sweet young girl. She's 18 and going to school to be a doctor. Ma If all this information is right and she's Ty's daughter, how am I supposed to tell him the it's a possibility that he could have a 18 year old daughter out here? That's going to crush him.
Violet: I know baby, I know. So where's Brittany?
Fatima: She got clean and been living in Atlanta for the past year.
Violet: And she hasn't tried to reach out to any of us.
Fatima: Ma she's probably ashamed. But I'ma see if I could reach out to her when I get back to Atlanta.
The men walked through the door. And she hid the file.
Tyrell: Hey my Queen and baby girl.
Violet: Hey my king,
Fatima: Hey daddy.

Zac: Hey Ti

Tyrell: What y'all in here doing?

Fatima: I have a lunch date.

Fatima: Well they'll be here to pick me up.

Tyrell: You have a min to talk before you go?
Fatima: Yes, I have some time. You wanna talk now?
Fatima: You need to talk to us now?
Tyrell: We can talk now.
Fatima: Okay come, let's go to my office.
They went to her office and sat down.
So I need you and Zac in Mexico in a couple days. I will put things in order and let you know the plan.
Fatima: Okay, who's going with us?
Tyrell: Just the two of you on this one.
Fatima: Okay gotcha. Does he know?
Tyrell: Yes, I spoked to him about it.
Fatima: Okay then.
Tyrell: So y'all are going as a married couple. Meaning you have to make it look real as possible.
Fatima: Married couple? And will be sharing rooms?
Tyrell: Yes, Is that a problem?
Fatima: No it's not a problem.
Tyrell: Good, Now I want y'all in and out. And I don't want no sneaking around from you two. Keep it professional at all time and don't mix business and pleasure with it.
Fatima: I know how to keep it professional. And I already told Zac the this is business and it will not be any type of sexual content nor any intimacy going on.
Tyrell: He told me that you did.
Fatima: I'm glad he did.
Tyrell: Well baby girl that's all that I wanted.
Fatima: Okay then daddy.
Tyrell: Well let's get back out here then.
They walked back to the front.
Fatima: Oh I see you met my date.

Fatima: What you thought it was a man?
Ty: I didn't know who it was. But I wasn't going for it.

Violet: The two of you are funny.
Fatima: That's your son.
Violet: ( laughs)
Fatima: Well we going to head out, we'll be back later.
