YN'S POV
I pouted looking at myself in the mirror, I was wearing a nude floor-length dress, and I was looking beautiful no doubt my face was glowing more and more every day since I got pregnant and my very observable seven-month baby bump was looking too cute and I gained a lot of pounds too at perfect places. But I was irritated right now because I texted Taehyung to buy me caramel popcorn but he was nowhere to be seen.
It's been five months since Sunmi and Taehyung broke up but I still haven't spoken to him well I blame my hormones for it, whatever, whenever I crave anything I just text him and he brings my food to me, watch me eat, and then go back to whatever he was doing, no matter he was in the middle of some meeting or it's midnight. Plus he made sure to feed me medicines with himself every day and those shakes too surprisingly he learned some new way to make them more bearable than they used to be.
The door of my room clicked open and a smile kissed my lips immediately as I saw a box of popcorn in his hands, I observed him dressed up in a suit of black color, and his hair was styled backward. He pecked my head and handed me the popcorn sat on the bed behind me and watched me with a smile on his face as I enjoyed eating the caramel popcorn. As I finished my snack he asked,
"Are you ready?"
I nodded nervously looking at him, yesterday we went for my regular checkup and the doctor told us that we could identify the baby's gender so we decided to keep it a secret from even us and Taehyung decided to organize a baby shower today. Everyone was invited even Mom was going to come fortunately alone but I'm worried about Dad and Fiona, even though they said that it's okay but still.
I came out of my trance as Taehyung held both of my shoulders, he get better at studying me nowadays, I don't even need to say anything and he can easily read my mind like an open book. I looked up at him, and he smiled leaning to the side of my face, he pecked my head and I relaxed immediately, he smiled and planted a lingering kiss on my cheek making me feel butterflies.
He smirked looking at me through the mirror and I looked away and stood up, he chuckled slightly and hugged me tightly, caressing my back he sighed heavily and spoke,
"Everything is going to be alright now"
I wrapped my arms around his torso and hummed, he pecked my head, he does this a lot and I love it, I smiled hiding my face in his chest, and said,
"Everyone is waiting for you downstairs"
I tightened my grip around him, liking the way I fit in his arms, he chuckled and suggested,
"If you want we can dump them"
I immediately pulled away from him and walked outside of my room, Taehyung followed me and held my hands in his gently, we both walked downstairs and smiled and kissed my lips as I saw Jungkook and Lisa present among others. I almost ran downstairs and threw my arms around Jungkook's neck, he caught me just in time while laughing loudly, he wrapped his arms around my back gently and I mumbled slowly,
"I missed you"
During my pregnancy I started to get emotional real quick, he pecked the side of my head and said,
"Now I'm here"
I smiled and pulled away from his embrace, he smiled looked down at me wiped a lone tear that escaped from my eye, and lastly pecked my forehead lovingly, I missed him way too much. Someone behind me cleared their throat. I rolled my eyes knowing the person very well and Lisa looked at me while wiggling her brows teasingly, I chuckled and hugged her tightly she chuckled and greeted me,
"Congratulations, Mama Bear"
I scrunched my face at the nickname she had just given me and pulled away, Jimin stood beside me and I hugged him too and said,
"Thank you so much for everything"
He smiled pulled away and replied with a wink,
"Anything for my princess"
I pouted and hugged Rose, she pecked my head and I complained to her,
"You should control your husband a little more"
She chuckled pulled away and said,
"I'll take some tips from you later"
I raised my brows and she pointed her chin toward my back and I saw Taehyung glaring at Jungkook, I rolled my eyes and walked away passing him but he started to follow me. I smiled as I saw Fiona, I hugged her from behind and whispered in her ear,
"Hello Mumma"
She froze in her place and I smiled widely, she turn around cupping my face, and pecked my whole face just as I used to do with the kids making me giggle, she hugged me and mumbled to herself,
"My baby"
I smiled and patted her back in a comforting way, pulling away my eyes traveled to the kids busy Yeonjun arguing about something, I walked towards them and they immediately smiled widely looking widely at me Yeonjun pulled Eun-woo and Yuri in his arms knowing my habit to hug them everytime i saw them but because of my huge baby bump i wasn't allowed to do it anymore so Yeonjun and Dad came out with this solution. I hugged both of the kids who were in Yeonjun's embrace and kissed their faces making them giggle uncontrollably, Yuri cupped my face and spoke,
"You are looking so beautiful, Mom"
I raised my brows and pinched her cheek making her chuckle, Eun-woo spoke,
"My Mom is looking like a princess"
I pinched his nose making him scrunch his face as he clearly didn't like whenever I did that. Yeonjun chuckled and put the kids back on the couch carefully, as he stand back I immediately hugged him, he smiled and wrapped his arms around I smiled and spoke,
"Thank you for being my friend"
"My pleasure, but can you ask your husband not to kill me with his eyes?"
Yes, Taehyung is still my husband as I never sent those divorce papers to the court they are still kept hidden in my closet. Initially, I was so angry at him and was about to file the divorce but later when I started spending days with the kids here at Dad's house I decided to keep things like they are right now, i was happy like this.
I immediately pulled away and looked at Taehyung who was now glaring at Yeonjun, I sighed and mumbled,
"This man"
I greeted Grandma, Jennie, and Taehyung's parents who came too to celebrate that night with us, surprisingly Taehyung's mom apologized to me for her behavior a few months back and everything became normal between us after that day.
Walking past him again ignoring him as usual I hugged Dad standing in the corner tightly he chuckled and while pecking my head mumbled,
"My baby"
I pulled my face away from the hug and rested my chin on his chest still wrapping my arms around his torso, he kept his arms around my shoulder and I spoke,
"I love you, Dad"
He smiled looking down at me and replied,
"But I love you more, honey"
I shook my head and denial and told him,
"I love you the most"
He chuckled and pecked my forehead lovingly and mumbled,
"If you say so"
He looked towards the door of the house and told me,
"Your mom is here"
I looked in the direction he was looking at and saw Mom looking at both of us with a smile on her face, i looked away and saw Fiona smiling at me, she nodded at me and I pulled away from Dad's embrace and Taehyung immediately came to my side. We both walked towards her and I was unable to understand what to feel, i knew she was my mom but I couldn't see her as one anymore, she gave birth to me but never truly cared about me i don't feel a thing towards her right now . Taehyung pecked the side of my head bringing me out of the trance and mumbled,
"Say hi to her"
I looked in front and saw her walking towards me, she smiled at me and greeted me,
"Hello Ynah~"
I tightened my grip around the fabric of Taehyung's arm and mumbled nervously,
"Hi"
She smiled sadly and while looking at the floor she apologised,
"I'm sorry Ynah~"
I blinked blankly and kept mum, she looked back at me with a gloomy expression and continued,
"I know whatever I did was unforgivable"
"And today I don't come here to ask for your forgiveness"
"I just want to apologize to you"
I nodded and leaned towards Taehyung in seek of some comfort, he started caressing my back slowly and Mom said,
"Congratulations Ynah~ I'm so happy for you"
I just nodded and her smile faltered for a second knowing I wouldn't speak to her, she looked at Dad standing behind me at some distance and back at me, she smiled again at me and told me,
"I came here to say goodbye to you"
I frowned looking at her, she laughed sadly and explained,
"I divorced Mason and now shifting to Germany alone"
I looked at her confusingly she extended her arms for a hug and Taehyung patted my back encouraging me to hug her, I walked near her and she wrapped her arms around me in a loving hug, I smiled slightly and said,
"Take care of yourself"
She pulled away with a wide smile on her face, she pecked my forehead and mumbled,
"Goodbye"
I nodded while smiling, she walked backward looking at Dad behind me, and walked out of there, Taehyung immediately side-hugged me and asked concerningly,
"Are you alright?"
I nodded snuggling into his arm, he pecked my head and asked,
"Can we start?"
I nodded and we walked towards the backdrop arranged for me, both of us stood in front of it and Lisa excitedly came in front of me holding a white plain cake, I looked at her while smiling matching her energy, she looked at everyone and explained,
"This cake is of the color of the baby's gender from the inside"
Everybody's curiosity focused on the cake trying to guess the gender but it was plain white, she handed me a knife and I looked at Taehyung while smiling excitedly he nodded and I cut a slice of the cake and it was pink from inside, everybody cheered and iIhugged Taehyung tightly hiding my face in his chest unable to control my emotions, Taehyung cupped my face and mumbled,
"One more member in my team"
I chuckled slapping his chest playfully, he chuckled and pecked my forehead lovingly, as he pulled away I immediately pulled him closer with his tie and kissed him on the lips. Both of us immediately closed our eyes enjoying the feeling of our lips on each other, it felt like heaven, I started moving my lips kissing him more passionately without caring about anything in the world but he pulled away resting his forehead on mine while everyone around us hooted for us. I smiled looking up at him and he spoke,
"I love you"
Instead of answering him, I pulled away and soon everybody around us surrounded us congratulating me and Taehyung both, and soon the real party began. I felt genuinely happy after a long time, I smiled looking at everyone smiling and having fun together, Dad and Fiona were serving dinner to all of us while the couples were teasing each other playfully.
The kids were as usual busy with their Yeonjun uncle and Jennie aunt I'm secretly shipping them together as they looked perfect together, and the blush on both of their faces was clear evidence that both of them also felt something for each other.
My eyes traveled to Taehyung sitting beside me on the couch looking at me with a smile on his face, I raised my brows and asked,
"What?"
"I'm happy because you are happy"
