While down on the planet Psi 2000 Lieutenant Junior Grade Joe "Joey" Tormolen unknowingly becomes infected by what becomes known as the Psi 2000 Intoxication which was unknowingly spread throughout the ship when someone was touched by one who was infected starting with Riley and Sulu then working its way around even Spock became contaminated by it and it was one of the worst feelings in the world but Christine finally finds out that Spock doesn't feel the same way for her as she does for him that he never has and she begins to wonder why and who "took her place".... Anansa helps Bones give Spock his examination she raises her eyebrow at her Vulcan friend who as we know she's "secretly" in love with "what!?!" Spock asks "nothing, I've just never seen you in all black before now all I have to do is see you with your shirt off and all my girlish fantasies will come true!" she says ending with a tease Bones chuckles Spock raises a eyebrow and rolls his eyes at her then smiles when he hears her chuckle softly and he lays with his back up against the cot that was in the standing position till she carefully moves it so it's laying flat "your pulse is 242 your blood pressure is practically nonexistent-- assuming you call that green stuff in your veins blood" Bones says Anansa rolls her eyes with a smile as Spock replies as he sits up "the readings are perfectly normal for me doctor, thank you and as for my anatomy being different from yours-- I am delighted" Anansa teases with a smile "you two should really stop flirting with one another it's making Joe feel quite awkward!" Spock looks at her Bones scoffs and Tormolen chuckles Spock looks over at Tormolen and sees him rubbing his arm which he found curious his attention turns to the door when he hears a familiar chuckle as Kirk walks into the room and Anansa moves the cot so that its now once again in a standing position and Spock walks away from it "how are they?" Kirk asks "they're fine, Jim" Bones replies "terrible, Captain it was terrible they were just sitting like they didn't care whatever was happening, they didn't care I keep wondering...." Tormolen says Kirk walks over to him and seems to finish for him as he says "you keep wondering if man was meant to be out here you keep wondering, and you keep signing on" Tormolen chuckles softly with a smile "any guesses, Mr. Spock? any idea what happened down there?" Kirk asks turning his attention to his First Officer Spock who was watching Anansa respectfully turn away from him as he puts his uniform shirt back on with a smile on his face replies "I wish I could say, Captain circumstances were quite bizarre" he taps Anansa's shoulder letting her know he had his shirt on now as he continues as she turns to face him with a smile "however, our record tapes may show us something" Tormolen says "six dead six people dead" Kirk looks at him and says "you better get some rest" Tormolen replies "yes, sir" Kirk says as he turns his attention back to his First Officer "set up those tapes, Mr. Spock we'll see if the answers are there" then he walks out of the room and Spock follows "come on Joe I'll walk you to your quarters" Anansa says Tormolen smiles at her then follows her out of the room....
When Anansa walks onto the Bridge and she feels a strong arm wrap around her waist and pull her towards a bare sweaty chest then a fencing foil in the other hand of whoever grabbed her "Hikaru Kato Sulu you let go of me this instant!" she orders softly "I'll protect you fair maiden" Sulu says "I'm fine Sulu you should know that no one presently on the Bridge would harm me" she assures him gently as Spock walks up behind him and uses the Vulcan Nerve Pinch on him and she gently catches him in her tails then gently lays him on the floor "I'd like you to teach me that sometime" Kirk says "grow some tails and I will!" Anansa replies as she starts to pick Sulu up Uhura and Kirk chuckle Spock watches as Anansa picks Sulu up with no issue "I'm going to take him to Sickbay" she tells him he nods then watches as she walks onto the Turbolift and disappears as the doors close.... while taking Sulu who is still unconscious in her arms to Sickbay Anansa hears Riley's very annoying voice talk then sing.... offkey making his voice even more annoying.... and she tunes him out for now so she can concentrate on getting her friend where he needs to go and inform Bones what had happened so he knows what to expect once she does that she leaves and heads to the holodeck to "borrow" a program Riley made for himself trying to mimic her and make her what HE wants her to be a submissive love slave who only has eyes for him which disgusts her immensely then she heads to the Engineering Room where she finds Scotty and another officer "I have a idea it may not get us in there but she could distract him for us for awhile at least" she says as she hands Scotty a device she made that now holds the holo-kitsune Scotty looks at her curiously "you know how many of the boys call me "Kitty" even though foxes are canine not feline!?" she asks he nods with a half smile "well they each tried to make a holo of me so they could have me in the way they wished I would be with them and this is Riley's version" she explains as she turns the holo program on and he sees a beautiful pink and purple haired kitsune in scantily dress that shows a LOT of her skin and he becomes disgusted "when we're through here I want all of them deleted and have it so they can't make anymore I'm grateful the computer was kind enough not to make them all look like me but....!" she says "don't worry Dove I'll make sure it happens, I'll do it myself if I have to!" Scotty replies she smiles then says "that may be best or I can do it I'd rather not have them be saved in any sort of way either" he nods then smiles.... Anansa is probably the only female Scotty doesn't call lass and when Kirk asked why she told him "I told him never to call me that for lass is just "ass" with a "L" in front of it" and Kirk burst out laughing..... "how are we going to get the program inside!?" Scotty asks "that's the easy part it is a hologram after all" Anansa replies he smiles he should have figured she'd have a plan they work together to put her plan in action and poor Scotty got a chance to see just how all the boys on the ship see Anansa and he became even more disgusted by what he saw as he watched the hologram "work her magic" and dotingly distract Riley as a matter of fact since Riley had himself talking and singing through the shipwide Com System everybody could hear her "work her charms" on him and him coo adoringly in reply and once he called the holo-kitsune "Kitty" everyone know who the unknown voice was suppose to be Anansa who refused to watch and listen to the "show" left.... apologizing to a very understanding Scotty before she does.... so that when Scotty succeeded in getting inside Engineering she didn't have to deal with Riley or his holo-"pet" and she once again blocked out not only his but the holo-kitsune's voice as she walked away with no true destination in mind.... Anansa ended up doing her best to return some order on the ship by doing her best to stop the fights and calm the disorder (state of confusion/disruption of peaceful and law-abiding behavior) that she "runs into" as she heads back to Sickbay to check on Sulu and when she walks into Sickbay she hears Chapel confess her feelings to Spock "I'm in love with you, Mr. Spock you.... the human Mr. Spock the Vulcan Mr. Spock" and Spock start to reply "Nurse...." then Christine say "Christine, please I see things, how honest you are...." Anansa watches as Christine takes Spock's hands in hers as she continues speaking "I know how you feel you hide it, but you do have feeling oh, how we must hurt you, torture you" Spock who was not looking at Christine says "I'm in control of my emotions" Christine shakes her head and says "hmm, the others believe that-- I don't" she places her hand on his cheek and says "I love you" she places her other hand on his other cheek as she continues "I don't know why, but I love you I do love you.... just as you are" she cups his hands in hers and kisses them as she says "oh, I love you" Spock whispers "I'm sorry.... but I don't love you" as the Bosun's Whistle blows and Uhura's voice is heard over the com "Captain is enroute to Engineering Mr. Spock can you take the Bridge? acknowledge" Spock turns and stares at Anansa with wide eyes as she replies for him "he'll be there when he can Star" then she walks out of Sickbay and he follows her trying his best to catch up with her quick footfalls which are faster than normal which tells him he heard what Christine had said "Anansa!" he says with tears in his tone and he sees her stop she turns to face him and he rushes over to her and hugs her crying into her arms for they started and wouldn't stop "so many years of unshed tears" she whispers he chuckles she takes his hand and leads him into the Briefing Room where he can let what he feels out without anyone witnessing him "break down" and not be who they know he is she moves him over to the table and has him sit down in one of the chairs "I don't want to hear it! not while you're not yourself" she whispers he looks at her "you've been infected that's why you're no longer in control of your emotions, I know how you feel about me I've SEEN it, I've FELT it and I feel the same way about you but I will wait for as long as I must for you to fully acknowledge what you've hidden for who knows how long..... do you know why I stayed here in this universe!?" she asks he shakes his head "because of you, because of how I feel for you, Kitsunes mate for life and I stupidly chose the one man who refuses to allow himself to feel anything close to love I've had quite a few "proper" choices and no I'm not talking about Riley and all the other boys who call me "Kitty" who made their own versions of me in the holodeck.... which I'm sure you heard a example of since his annoying voice was everywhere!" she tells him he chuckles as she continues "but Scotty, Pavel, Bones, Sulu hell even Kirk.... if I was stupid enough to fall for his supposed charms which thankfully I'm not but they all knew that I had someone my heart was set on and the relationships I have with them turned into a more brother/sister type of relationship and I doubt that we could change them even if we wanted to but I don't want to, I will wait for you the rest of my life if I have to, I don't have the heart to force you to be someone you're not and force you to love me as I wish you would and I most certainly won't take this weakened state you're now being forced to live in and use it to my advantage for like so many things have always been in my life if I did that it wouldn't be real because it wouldn't be completely you it's a half you that...." she stops then asks after a small pause "I'm not making any sense am I!?" he chuckles "and just so you know her being under the same influence you are and finally admitting that she loves you is not what hurt, she may even be the reason you've been infected, what hurts is the fact that these boys see me and so many other "beautiful ladies" in the way that was displayed over the com and or possibly worse the fact that they all made Kitsune holograms to live out their fantasies and even though none of them have my face and or voice it disgusts me that they still pretend that it's me what's worse was Riley was the first to do it and he showed her off to all his friends who copied him and made their own all of them named "Kitty" which is a nickname I don't like it's just as bad if not worse than "Foxy" I would call in for a transfer but I don't want to leave you or the small number of friends I have here not only that but I'll have to deal with the same things if not more and or worse things on whatever ship I get placed in next I am a Yeoman after all and we're the lowest of the low when it comes to "slaves" around here and I really don't want to find out how other Captain's treat their Yeoman I may not have as good a rapport with the other Captains as I do this one for I'd cause too much trouble and not do everything they tell me to" she tells him he chuckles she leans closer to him so that their noses are now touching and she coos as she rubs her nose up against his "won't you smile for me Spock!?!" he smiles then laughs as she straightens with a smile....

Kirk calls Anansa and asks if she's seen Spock and she informs him that Chapel had infected him "she probably got infected by Riley when Spock sent him to Sickbay, I've got Spock in Briefing Room 2 he's quite emotional at the moment so.... whatever you need to do you might want to do it yourself" she tells him he chuckles then replies "alright thank you" she explains "I believe it is transferred by touch perhaps perspiration so becareful who you touch on your way back to the Bridge" the com clicks off "not even a thank you!" she teases Spock chuckles she looks at him and says "never be ashamed of who you are! you don't have to say you love someone for them to know it it is shown in what you do and how you act not just by word of mouth" he hugs her and starts crying once more she sits on his lap and holds him until he stops crying he clicks on the com and tells Kirk "there's a intermix formula it's never been tested it's a theoretical relationship between time and antimatter stand by to intermix I'll call the formula in from the Bridge" he kisses Anansa's forehead as he clicks off the com then asks "I've touched you! how can you not be affected!?!" she asks "by your touch!?! I'm always affected by your touch! by this infection!? I've never been sick a day in my life, perhaps it's my regenerative ability" he nods then says "I'm glad you're not infected" she replies "well someone has to stay slightly sane or we're all in trouble!" he chuckles she stands up off his lap and he becomes sad "none of that now you made a promise now go keep it! though perhaps you should head to Engineering instead of the Bridge" she says he smiles then stands up and kisses her forehead then walks out of the room and she watches him trying to get over the shock of feeling his soft lips on her skin not once but twice after a second or two she follows him.... Anansa walks onto the Bridge and sees Sulu back at his station she walks over to where he sits and says as she pats him on the shoulder "I'm glad to see you're better Sulu but never call me "fair maiden" ever again!" he chuckles with a smile and looks up at her as Kirk walks onto the Bridge and starts giving orders contacting Engineering praying that Spock's head is clear enough to do as he told him he'd do and Sulu returns to his duty they succeed but as if by some form of strange side effect the ship is sent back in time by three days Spock enters the Bridge and is back to his normal self which means that either Anansa somehow unknowingly cured him or Bones caught up to him and gave him the cure he created.... when Spock's shift was over he goes to find Anansa they had a lot to talk about he finds her on the Holodeck watching the sunset on "Vulcan" "how much of that conversation do you remember!?" he hears her ask when she senses his presence "all of it" he replies as he sits down beside her "and Christine's um.... proposal!?" she asks he chuckles "what!?! she got all "handsy" and wouldn't stop touching you as she told you how she feels or thinks she feels she even kissed your hands" she says he frowns "the whole ship knows that she's enamored by you and not just because she used to enter your quarters like she already lived there" she says he chuckles "I'm sure a lot of the ladies have been waiting for you to allow yourself to feel any sort of emotion" she says she looks at him and tells him "nothing is going to change between us Spock I'll always love you I could never stop loving you even if I wanted to that's the "curse" of being me as I told you Kitsunes mate for life and though you are not my mate I will not give up on the emotions you make me feel until you physically reject me either by word of mouth or...." he replies "that will never happen!" she smiles and says "you seem so sure of that" he smiles then replies "I am!" she nuzzles his nose then turns her attention back to the "setting sun" and he also watches the holoprogram of the sunset with a smile on his face for what he's read about foxes he knows that her rubbing her nose up against his is a sign of affection just like the Vulcan Finger Touch is for Vulcans and he's willing to except it as it is though he does wonder how her lips would feel upon his skin he's happy to know that she feels for him as he feels for her one may wonder when they will ever truly show just how much the love one another to each other in the way they have seen others do
