The fact that I have done THREE of these in this book is mind-boggling. HOW has it already been three years since I made this😭
Anyways, here is unnecessary rambling about my music habits that nobody asked for. As usual, I will be talking about my personal account and my Wattpad account.
PERSONAL
This was pretty much the same as it is every year, but the rap one surprised me. I think it's because I listen to a lot of 80s/90s/early 2000s hip hop/rap/r&b because my mom loved it. Also, Broadway .... don't look at me.
This does not surprise me. Niall's newest album is AMAZING and basically took up my top 100 playlist. I'm super excited because I'm seeing him in concert next year !!!
LMFAOOOO CAN YOU TELL I LOVE THE AURORA ALBUM ?? I knew that The River was going to be in my top 5, but I didn't expect two others to also be on there. I anticipated that something from Hozier's new album would make it on there.

Compared to last year, I was slacking. I listened to about 3.5k less minutes this time around. Should I aim for more than 101k next year? Or is that outrageous?
I definitely think it could have been more, but I used Musi to listen to 10 hour long videos of white noise sometimes, so... (PS Musi is a great app for listening to Youtube videos with your phone locked!)
I've returned to my roots. ATL was my top artist for, like, three years in a row in the past before being dethroned in 2019. But here I am, proving that I never really change. Their new album is PHENOMENAL !!! The new release definitely made me listen to them more than I usually do. It was my top album of the year!
Another thing that upped their numbers was the fact that I saw them in concert this year, and while my friend and I were waiting outside, Alex walked past us and said hi, and I blacked out and don't remember it. 10/10 job, me.

2. Are we even surprised? Because I'm not. Of course Taylor is here. Her music is in almost all of my playlists, and with how many new releases we got this year, of COURSE she's high on the list! Plus I listened to the Eras Tour set list like 900 times before the concert in June. She has been cranking out the content. I'm so proud of her, but also worried, because, like, girl, please take a huge break after this. Get some rest.
It said that I listened to her the most in July, which was when Speak Now TV was released, so that is not surprising considering that's my FAVE Taylor album and I bawled when it was re-released.
3. Also unsurprising. 5sos is usually on my list. Once again, I saw them in concert this year, so I listened to the setlist a lot in preparation. I love the direction they've gone with in their music! Their past 2 albums have been so beautiful.
4. LMAO Bastille was my top artist last year and dropped down this much. This is probably because I listened to their entire discography over and over last year, but didn't do that as much this year. Their music never gets old. I want to wrap my arms around their songs.
5. HOZIER !!!! I LOVE JESUS !!!! He's another artist who has been KILLING IT. His new album, Unreal Unearth, is a fucking masterpiece, which is expected, because it's Hozier. I ascend to the astral plane every time. I like listening to his music while reading or journaling because it's so comforting.

I'm not shocked about this, but I am shocked that I'm a top 28% fan ??? This is a podcast I have mentioned before in this book, and it covers both paranormal and true crime content. I'm still outrageously behind despite being a listener for a year and a half— mostly because I have to take breaks from listening to true crime content since it gets too upsetting. Em and Christine do a wonderful job of being respectful while still making the content entertaining.
In total, I listened to over 11k minutes of podcasts!!
Now for the less exciting part.
WATTPAD ACCOUNT
I slack on this one because I don't have a premium account and all the ads make me want to stab myself in the eye with a fork. I didn't even expect to have a Wrapped this year, but I did, and it's boring.
The genres were pretty much the same (Pop, Rock, and Indie), so I won't include that screenshot.
Tbh, most of these results are from the WWDITS playlists. I have a private playlist for season 2, and this song is on it, so consider this your sneak peek. I am VERY proud of that playlist — I listen to it a lot just because I love the vibes.
All of these are on the WWDITS playlist except for the random line Bastille song, which is on my writing playlist. They are all GREAT songs!
LMAO COMPARE THIS TO MY PERSONAL ONE. I think last year I listened to 4k mins, so this proves how little time I spent on this account. I will do better.
A whopping 45 minutes!
This is literally my personal account's results with some ABBA and Queen thrown in. Probably because I have a lot of these artist's songs on my This Is: Kristyn playlist where I've put a ton of songs I've liked over the course of my life.
All in all, I think this proves that I don't change year by year, and instead I just rotate the frequency of the artists I already listen to (except DJATS, which was obviously a new one). Maybe next year I'll shake things up and have something unexpected!
