"and don't forget feng shui! make your room look beautiful." jieun sighed, giving up on trying to get her sister out.
"you said your coming back tomorrow! just help me tomorrow god!" doyoung grabbed his fiancés hand, helping jieun get the girl to the front door.
"be safe jieun, we will be back tomorrow to help you more." jieun threw up thumbs up, opening the door for them.
"see you guys tomorrow, if i feel like getting out of bed." jieun waved bye at xia and doyoung, the couple finally heading home.
she turned around, seeing ayaka still putting plates into the cabinets. she was standing on a ladder, huan handing her the plates every time she asked for one.
jieun was gonna help her new roommates, but heard a shout erupt from the living room, heading over there to examine it first.
yangyang, haechan, and renjun we're still in the girls living room, the three playing on the console they installed earlier in the day.
renjun looked about ready to beat up the korean male, but holding back, knowing his girlfriend would definitely reprimand him for getting overly upset.
"why are you guys still here?" jieun crossed her arms, the three males glancing in her direction.
yangyang and haechan paid no attention to her, continuing to play whatever they had been playing. jieun walked over to the console, turning it off and standing in front of the tv.
"either go home or help your girlfriends. we're gonna get a noise complaint on our first day if you guys keep shouting." the two groaned in disagreement, but nonetheless stood up to help their girlfriends in the kitchen.
renjun smiled at jieun, her dominance over their two friends entertaining him. "sometimes i forget how mom you can act." the way he explained the trait confused her, but jieun shook it off, grabbing the controllers and placing them in their right place.
"jiang i need to talk to you." jieun loved hearing renjun call her by her chinese name, the girl straightening her posture to listen to her boyfriend.
"what's up junnie?" the chinese boy grabbed her by the hands, sitting her down on the newly cleaned couch.
"you know how i was applying to art schools at the beginning of this year? just to see if the art degree was worth it?" jieun nodded, gripping renjun's hands in hers.
"i got an acceptance letter this morning in the mail." jieun smiled, proud of renjun. she knew he was gonna get accepted, she just didn't know when.
he was talented in his craft and knew just what to do to capture someone's eye, "im proud of you bubs! you better go to those schools." renjun nods, but he continues to hold the girls hand, worried about her continued reaction.
"there's a but isn't there?" renjun nods, answering her question. "it can't be that bad. you're gonna live out your dream baby. nothing should stop you from reaching it."
renjun sighed, looking straight into jieun's brown, dark eyes, "it's in new york, in rhode island." jieun's shoulders dropped, but she tried hiding it, smiling right away. she could feel her eyes tearing as she held it together, wanting to be happy for him.
"that's fine! it gives you more freedom to grow, and you can move there with chenle! he's literally your half brother it's so fitting." renjun grabbed jieun's head, making sure she held eye contact with him.
"i'll have to leave in two weeks. so i won't be here for the kids graduation, or hyein's birthday, or when chenle moves away." jieun keeps quiet, her chinese boy continuing to talk.
"just say the word and i won't go. i won't go and we can stay here together." jieun shakes her head, the tears finally falling.
"i just want you to be happy jun." renjun shakes his head, pulling jieun into him. he laid her head on his shoulder, jieun immediately wrapping her arms around him.
"i'm already happy, being with you makes me happy." jieun doesn't let him go, but says the sentence that the both of them weren't too happy to hear.
"i want you to achieve all of your dreams huang renjun, even if it means we have to be apart for a little bit."
