Cleome does do the thing where she makes dally feel more relaxed by this doesn't make Eva mad because it's more of a friendship thing this time
The crew is on the ship Nero is lying back against part of the ship and cleome has her head in his lap
Yugo: Hey Nero!
Nero: Ywah Yugo
Yugo: I was wondering you told us that you went on adventures with Cleome before you met us mind tell us one
Nero: Sure you ok with that Cleo
Cleome: Go right ahead
Nero: Alright everyone gather round it's story time
It started when we where trudging through a desert
Cleome: Ahh this one interesting
Flashback
As the rouge said they are trudging through the desert
When they got tired and decided to take a break
Nero is drinking some water
Cleome gives him a look that's saying she wants some
Nero: I told you, we should have gathered more supplies more leaving
Cleome: shut up 'she chugs some water' but thanks for the water
Then Nero catches something black out of the corner of his eye
It's a snake
Nero: Cleome behind you!
But before she could react it had already pounced and dug it's fangs into her
Cleome: ahh!
The snake slithers away
Nero takes a look at the bite
Nero: are you ok?
Cleome: ugh I feel dizzy
Nero: well I guess that's alright
Cleome then tries to get up: we need to get gong
But she falls and Nero catches her in his arms
Nero: yeah you aren't walking anytime soon
Cleome: what a pain
Nero chuckles: good to know your personality isn't affected
That's when he moves her onto his back and stands up
Cleome blushing: what are you doing?
Nero: what does it look like, you aren't walking anytime soon or would you rather me leave you here to die of heatstroke
Cleome: uhh when you put-
She goes silent
Nero: uhh are you alright
He then places her hand on her forehead and quickly recoils
Nero: Ahh you are burning up
Nero decides to slowly place her in his haven bag and in his bed
Nero: Be safe ok
Nero gets out, he looks around and sees a small village then as fast as his legs could take him he ran
He got there and saw no-one
Nero: hey! Is there a doctor here!
Then an elderly man emerges from his house
Old man: please be quiet you'll get yourself killed!
Nero: well my friend will die if she doesn't get the help she needs!
Elder man makes a shushing motion: then get inside dumbass
Nero quietly: thank you
Nero gets into the house and gets cleome out of his bag
Old man: but her on the bed over
Nero still quietly: roger that
Nero places her on the bed, then the old man walks over and places a cold cloth on her head
He then notices purple veins on her arm
Old man: she's been poisoned by a snake it looks considering the bite mark
Nero: how did you get that so fast?
The man walks over to his cabinet and pulls out some herbs
Old man: when you get to my age you tend to notice these things
Nero: so you are a doctor?
Old man: you could say that
Nero: so what's the cure doc
Old man; what colour was the snake?
Nero: black
The old man's eyes widen
Old man: I'm afraid your friend is lost then
Nero's eyes widen and glares at the old man: What are you talking about
Old man: there's only one snake with that colour here, it's very dangerous and it comes and goes as it pleases
Nero: PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE CURE IS I DON'T CARE WHAT I HAVE TO DO
The elderly man looked in Nero's eyes and nods
He takes Nero to his window and points towards a mouth
Old man: on that top of that mountain is a legendary flower that can cure any poison bring me that flower and I can make the medicine to cure your friend
Nero nodded as goes to leave
Old man: but you should know that you are on a timer if you're not back by sunrise tomorrow your friend will die
Nero: I'll take my chances I'll never let someone I care about die, Never again
Memories of Michael's dead body fly through Nero's mind
Nero runs to the mountain
Old man; That kid he's been through a lot but he'll go for
Nero is running through a forest too the bottom of the mountain when bandits pop out
Nero: ugh guys I really don't have time for this
Bandit 1: well too bad you're on our turf which means you gotta pay the fine
Nero: Alright how much I gotta pay for you too leave me alone
Bandit 2: hmm let's say all you've got
Nero: yeah not happening
Nero rushes forward and takes them all down
Nero: don't interrupt a nice guy have a bad day it must just be your last
He keeps running and makes it too the mountain
Nero starts climbing
At the bandits base
Bandit leader: so let me get this straight you all got your asses handed to you by a guy whose not even half my size
Bandit: he played dirty he attacked before we could even react
Bandit leader: you are all bandits and complain about someone playing dirty?, ok where did he go
the one whose least beaten up shakily points to the mountain
Bandit leader: so he's going after the flower
Back with Nero
He's at the top of the mountain it's clearly been a couple of hours
Nero: hmm sun is going down that gives me about 5 hours to find this flower and get back I've got this
He then runs and finds a small cave with a flower in it
Nero goes to pick it up but a snake jump at him and Nero barley dodges
Snake: I'm impressed young one
Nero: ok since when do snakes talk
Snake: Well I am 500 hundred years old you pick up a few things, I've been cursed to wait here for a challenge
Nero: Well you look good for your age and what's with this challenge
Snake: thanks young man and the challenge is too kill me but so far only few have made it here and anyone who does has not succeeded
Nero: Well I've got a friend to save and no ancient reptile is going to get in my way
The snake chuckles
Snake: you are courageous and selfless young one but how long can you keep it up
The snake lunges for him
Nero: I'll take my chances
He dodges barley but grabs onto the snakes tail and slams him on the ground Hard!
He pulls out a dagger and goes to stab the snake but it dodges
Nero: tch you are slippery aren't you
Snake: well I am a snake
It starts burrowing
The snake keeps lunging at Nero from underground
Nero keeps dodging and then it lunges right for him but he swerved his leg and slams it on the ground with an axe kick
Nero: Rest in peace
Nero stabs it in the head
Snake: thank you
The snake dissolves
Nero gets up and grabs the flower: this better work
Nero runs and jumps right off the mountain and runs down it like he's a mountain goat
He gets back to the village and knocks in the old man's door rapidly
Nero: Hey doc! I've got the flower
Old man: well don't just stand there dumbass get in here
Nero: yes sir!
The doctor started working the the medicine
Nero slumped on a chair
Nero: you could've warned me about those bandits
Doc: yeah you kind of left before I could tell you
Nero: I guess you're right
Doc: wait you ran into them and came back almost unscathed
Nero: yeah,,they weren't that strong
Doc: young man they where strong you are just strong I'm curious what do you do
Nero: I'm a monster and bounty hunter
Doc smiles: well that explains it, also your friends medicine is ready she'll be alright
Nero slumps on the chair: thank goodness
The old man saw that Nero was now asleep on the floor, he smiles and places a blanket on Nero
Cleome then wakes up in the morning to a ceiling she doesn't recognise
Old man: oh good you're awake
Cleome: huh? Ugh why does it feel like I got ran over
Old man: well that's too be expected you where poisoned after all
Cleome: well then how did I get here last thing I remember I was in the desert with Nero
Wait is he?
She then sees Nero on the floor snoring peacefully
Old man: as you can see he's doing fine just very tired
Cleome: how did I get here then
Old man: he carried you all the way here and then when I told him how to get the cure he ran up a mountain and fought bandits without a second thought
Cleome: wow I really owe him
Old man: yes yes you do
Cleome: I owe you too you did save my life
The old man merely raises his hand to make her be quiet
Old man: please your friend has done more than enough by killing that stupid snake
Cleome: snake?
Old man: yeah the one that bit you that things been around for longer than this village
Cleome smirks: he'd never take any credit but he's a hero everywhere he goes, I've found one hell of a partner
Old man smiles: yes you have he's definitely going places
Nero: wow all this praise I can't take it
Cleome then tackles him: Nero!
Nero: well you're back that's good to normal that's good to know
Cleome: and it's all thanks to you
They then hear a lot of ruckus outside
Bandit leader: Bring out the black haired warrior!
Nero: what do you want
Bandit leader: are you the one that beat up my men?
Nero: yup
Bandit leader: so you did survive and got the flower nice! Now hand it over
Nero: uhh sorry it's already been used
Bandit leader: what!?
Cleome: yeah he used it too heal me and I couldn't be more grateful
Bandit leader: Fine! Then you will both die!
Nero and cleome look at each other and smirk
They draw their weapons and charge
Flashback over
Nero: and that's how we disbanded a whole group of bandits
Eva: wow amazing so you saved my sisters life
Cleome: he sure did isn't my rouge amazing
Yugo: Awesome! These stories are getting better
Cleome: Oh there's a great one we can tell you some time about how I saved this guy
Nero: yeah she certainly did
Ruel: sorry kids we need to get back to this quest story time some other time
All: Awww
