Maanika was getting ready when her phone rang. She picked up call without seeing as she was in hurry.
MS- Hello.
DR- Hello Miss Maanika Saraf how are you?
MS- ( Ohh shit mene pehle dekh kyu nhii ) She thought in mind.
DR- Hello hello.
MS- Haa actually network chala gya tha . Kesa chal rha hai shoot?
DR- Shoot acha tha and you know what kall hi khatam ho gya and I've already reached Mumbai let's catch up.
MS- Nhiiiii.( She said loudly)
DR- Kya hua itna suddenly ese kyu.
MS- Sorry vo me naa abhi thoda busy hu toh me jese hi free houngi naa we'll meet.
DR- Okk as you wish . Take care byee.
MS- You too . Byee.
After hanging up the call she headed to her Studio.
DR- Isse achanak se kya ho gya esa toh kabhi behave nhii karti aaj may bhi kaam ka load hoga.
Maanika was in her Studio working at the same time talking with Saarvika on call.
SS- Didi sunn tu naa shant dimaag se soch ladka itna acha hai.
MS- Saarvika me shaant 1 sec shilpa usme thoda milk add karo batter thick hai sponge nhii aaega.
MS- Haa me boll rhii thi me Shant dimaag se hi soch rhii hu.
SS- Nhii di tu unreasonable hokrr soch rhii hai just because your past relationship didn't worked doesn't mean naa ki yeh bhi vese hi ho.
MS- Haa Saarvika I know ki jaruri nhii ki yeh bhi vesa hi ho parr that past relationships was enough to take away me belief is love and mujhse nhii hoga kall I am very clearly going to tell him not to keep any expectations from me in form of love.
SS- Have you gone mad.
MS- No I was already one. Ab me rakh rhii hu kaam hai bohot mujhe. ( Saying so she hanged up)
SS- Bhagwaan ji kuch chamatkar karr do yeh ladki pakka khudke perr parr kulhadi maaregi varna.
Next morning Maanika was sitting in her Cabin in restaurant.
MS- Should I call him karr hi deti hu ek baar clearly baat ho jaaegi toh he will also be careful and not let his feelings rise haa call karta hu . She called him and he picked up call.
DR- Hello.
MS- Darshan .
DR- Haa Maanika bolo. ( He said working on computer.)
MS- Tum aaj free ho.
DR- Abhi toh nhii parr Shaam tak .
MS- Milne aaskte ho jaruri baat Karni hai.
DR- Okk me tumhe pick karr lunga.
MS- Nhii tum restaurant hi aajana vhi baat karr lenge.
DR- Okk as you wish 9 baje around aajaaunga.
MS- Okk rakhti hu baad me baat karungi.
DR- Haa.
He hanged up and kept looking at her picture which he clicked secretly on new year's eve and has set it as her caller profile.
AP- Kya hua tu Pareshaan lagg rha hai.
DR- Khabar nhii be diwas thi Maanika bau off off sound kare che something is definitely wrong. (Pata nhii 2 din se Maanika off off sound karr rhii hai)
AP- Aaj Shaam ko milega naa pooch lena tension matt le ho skta hai usse hi kuch share karna ho isliye bulaya ho.
DR- Haa let's see kya hota hai.
AP- Chal abhi phata phat yeh khatam karte hai phir tu jaana.
DR- Haa.
(Soon he finished his work got ready and went to her Restaurant. AS he entered Manager greeted him.)
Manager- Good evening Darshan Sir .
DR- Good evening where is Maanika.
Manager- Sir Maanika madam abhi abhi nikli.
DR- What meri abhi usse baat hui thi usne bola ki vo Restaurant me hi hai.
Manager- Sir vo yhi thi phir pata nhii achanak se kha chali gyii kisi ko kych bola bhi nhii .
DR- Okk vo aaye toh usse batana me aaya tha.
Manager- Okk sir.
Darshan went from there and sat in his car.
Darshan's Pov.
Hadd hai milna nhii tha toh bulaya hi kyuu. Chodo me bhi ghar jaata hu .
He started driving towards his home.
At Maanika's house
Maanika's Pov.
I came out of my cabin as Darshan called and said He'll reach in 15 mins as soon as I came out I spotted the biggest fear of my life My Ex Vikrant. The day he left me I decided not to see his face ever again but he is there in front of me today I was not able to process anything I just grabbed my keys and came home without saying anything to anyone. First thing I did was locking Kuro and Hairo in Balcony as I knew what was coming and I don't want them to be a part of it.
Here Darshan was driving towards his home and simultaneously talking to Avish.
DR- Yaar pata nhii kya hi chahati hai yeh mere samajh toh nhii aarha.
AP- Bhai 1 baar thande dimaag se soch agar milna nhii hota toh bulati kyu.
DR- Pata nhii yaar lekin mujhe bula karr khud toh chali gyii naa.
AP- Sunn tu hi boll rha tha naa ki thodi off off si lagg rhi hai vo tujhe toh ho skta hai sachchi kisi problem me ho vo isliye toh.
(Hearing to his statement Darshan immediately applied break and took a U turn.)
DR- Me Maanika ke ghar jaa rha hu.
AP- Kuch bhi jarurat ho toh call karna.
DR- Haa.
Darshan's Pov.
As I reached her home and rang the bell there was no response from other side I again rang the bell again no response. I was about to turn and go when I heard noise of glass breaking from inside I touched the door and it opened I just went inside but there was no one so I went towards her room blood was oozing from her feet and She was crying vigorously and breathing heavily.
DR- Maanika Maanika ohh god is it a Panic attack . ( He said running towards and held her close to him .)
DR- Maanika please stop crying and breathe. Relax relax me yhi hu.
DR- Kya karu Maanika tumhe pehle kabhi Panic attack aaya koi medicine kuch bhi. ( He was trying his level best to calm her but her condition was not improving. )
DR- Okk Okk I got you. ( He hugged her tightly gently moved his hand on her head and back and started singing Jab koi baat bigad jaaye. Soon her crying subsided and breath became normal. She separated her from himself slightly but she was hugging him tightly. )
DR- Feelings better? ( She slightly nodded her head) First aid box kha hai?
MS- bahar T.V ke neeche drawer me.
He brought the first aid kit and band aid her wound after cleaning it . After that he picked her up and made her lay on bed covering her with quilt. He was about to go when she held his hand.
MS- Don't go.( She said with slight tears.)
DR- Kahi nhii jaa rha me yhi hu bass bahar ka gate khula hai band karke aarha hu or Kuro or Hairo ko bhi balcony se andarr lekrr.
MS- Unn dono ko please room me matt aane dena vo darr jaaenge.
DR- Hmmm. He bent down and kissed her forehead in response to which she closed her eyes to feel the calmness.
He went outside closed the door took Hairo and Kuro inside making sure they don't enter her room and soon went inside.
He went and sat on sofa.
MS- Vha nhii yha aao.( She said indicating to other side of bed he went and sat besides her . She kept her head on his stomach as he was in half sitting position. )
MS- Vikrant naam hai uska we met at coaching centre when I was in 9th pehle social media parr normally baat hona start hui phir dheere dheere closeness badhi and soon we came into relationship pata hi nhii chala kab hume 12th pass karr li then he started forcing me to get physical pehle mene mana kiya phir 1 din usne bola That if I don't get into physical relationship with him he'll destroy my life I just said do what ever you want to mujhe laga kuch nhii karega sirf darane ke liye boll rha hai parr he blocked me from everywhere and leaked my photoshopped nudes into our friends group no one believed me everyone thought ki meri hi galti hai but my parents knew ki me esa nhii karungi they stood by me uske baad hum kabhi nhii mile Vikrant toh life se chala gya parr 1 bohot bada darr dekrr gya pyaar se darr or aaj vo vapas dikha restaurant me toh mujhe kuch samajh nhii aaya I just headed home.
DR- Maanika ab kisi se darne ki jarurat nhii hai I am with you kabhi bhi lage ki tu akeli hai just call me mai tere Saamne hounga within seconds kahi se bhi kabhi bhi I'll just come to you. And it's past just think it to be a bad dream and forget it.
MS- Hmm.
DS- Soo jaa and me yahi hu.
MS- You can lie down Darshan I'll be comfortable.
DR- Are you sure.
MS- Okk Darshan tumare saath mujhe vahi comfort milta hai jo mere papa ke saath I trust you tum kuch galat nhii karoge.
DR- You have said the biggest thing.
He lied down and saw that she was blankly looking towards the wall so he gently embraced her in his arms. She looked at him.
DR- Soo jaa kuch matt soch.
She closed her eyes and in no time sleep took over her.
Darshan Pov.
Today a fear has again raised in me ,fear of loosing someone I love ,do I really love her or it's just mere attraction ? I don't know answers to my questions but I surely know that my heart ached seeing her in that condition, for a moment I felt like destroying the world only to bring back the smile that she carries on her lips all the time that to soo effortlessly that even after meeting soo many times I was not able to read the pain she was hiding behind she really is a true artist.
Soon sleep took over him.
Next morning Maanika's sleep broke first. She looked on her side to find him sleeping soundly.
Maanika's Pov.
I was so stubborned to tell him yesterday that we should maintain some distance and here today we are sleeping on same bed today okk just sleeping nothing else . But now I won't tell him to maintain that distance or maybe be I don't have courage to do that ,I don't wanna loose a friend like him at any cost I am ready to do anything and everything to make him happy. I have had Panic attacks many time in the past but the fact that yesterday it was 1st time someone was there to sooth me and it was him cannot be ignored how gently and calmly he handled the situation is commendable.
Her thoughts got broken due to the movements near her.
She looked at him and he opened his eyes.
He became shocked after seeing her.
MS- Good morning. ( She said with smile. )
DR- Good morning sorry mene ekdum se dekha toh shock ho gya.
MS- It's okk I can understand. ( As she said they heard scratches on the door.)
MS- Ohh god mere bachche Kuro toh bechara raat se Pareshaan ho rha hoga me unhe andarr lekrr aati hu.
DR- Tum ruko me laata hu.
MS- Arre nhii me aahhhh....( She said getting down and screamed as her leg touched the ground. )
DR- Jab khudko kuch yaad rehta nhii hai toh dusro ki sunn liya karo naa. (He almost shouted sitting straight. )
MS- Sorry.
DR- Ruko ab ( He got up and opened the door Kuro and Hairo came in kuro came running and tried to jump on bed whereas Hairo just came and sat on bed near Maanika's legs .)
Darshan picked Kuro in his hands and sat near Maanika.
MS- I am all right you don't need to worry. ( He started liking her face in excitement. )
DR- Perr batao tumhara vapas toh nhii lagi.
MS- Nhii sahi hai toh ekdum se rakh toh dard hua isliye.
DR- Coffee peeogi ?
MS- Tum banaoge?
DR- Haa.
MS- Okk .
Maanika was busy playing with Kuro after 20 mins Darshan returned with tray and kept in on bed. As soon as he kept tray on bed Kuro almost jumped on it and Hairo also came towards it .
MS- Inn dono ko bhook lagi hai me khana dedeti hu inhe.
DR- Mujhe bata do me dedeta hu.
MS- kitchen me gas ke neeche last drawer me cat and dog food hai or bowls yeh dono apne aap le aaenge packet ki Awaaz se kyuki inke alawa kisi ko pata bhi nhii hoga kha rakha hai.
DR- okk ( He went and gave them food and returned back to room.)
MS- Pohe tumne banaye.
DR- Koi or hai kya ghar me.
MS- Mera matlab kyu.
DR- Kyuki mujhe bhook lagi hai or yahi dikha jo mujhe banana aata hai usme se tumhe nhii lagi toh tum matt khana.
MS- Nhii lagi hai me bhi khaungi . ( She said innocently)
He sat opposite her and passed her coffee mug she took a sip and relished it.
MS- Ummmm it's just soo good.
DR- Thank you. ( He said and forwarded a bite of poha towards her. She took it )
MS- Ohh my god you are such a great cook uss din tumne jab maggi banate hua haath jala liya tha tab mujhe laga ki this banda don't even know C of cooking.
DR- Arre I know very nice cooking. Matlab bohot complicated dishes banane nhii aate lekin Saare basic aate hai.
MS- That's great.
At that moment his phone rang.
DR- Mere haath toh.
MS- Me utha karr speaker parr karti hu.
DR- Hello Haa Avish boll.
AP- Badhu fine che ne( Sab theek hai naa?)
DR- Haa koi tension ni vaat nathi boll su thayu?( Haa koi tension ki baat nhii hai boll kya hua.)
AP- Okk toh ghare aavi jaa Naushad bhai pann aava vada che ne Haji sudhi last tune nathi thayi gusso karse aavine aaj saanj sudhi audio send karvani che.( okk toh ghar aaja Naushad bhai aane vaale hai or abhi tak last tune set nhii hui gussa karenge aakrr aaj Shaam tak audio send Karni hai.)
DR- Haa thodik Vaar me aavu( Haa thodi derr me aata hu)
AP- Theek dhyaan raakhje bye.( Theek dhyaan rakhna .)
DR- Byee.
MS- Darshan thank you soo much.
DR- Maanika...
MS- Nhii mujhe bolne do Darshan you don't know how much it means to me tum sab kuch chod karr mere saath the and will not deny it was the moment I really needed someone badly and you became that someone. Darshan I don't know where this friendship is gonna take us but I promise I'll stay by your side always.
DR- I know Maanika you'll never leave and trust I'll neither. ( He said and held her hand) Tum bhi mere saath chalo thode din vhi rukk jaao jab tak perr theek nhii ho jaata.
MS- Arre nhii nhii me theek hu me karr lungi manage.
DR- Are you sure Maanika?
MS- Hmmm.
DR- Me jaau toh?
MS- Haa bass dhyaan se Jaana.
DR- Okkji tum apna dhyaan rakhna or kuch bhi jarurat ho mujhe 1 call karr dena me turant aajaaunga.
MS- Done .
DR- Jaata hu.
MS- Jaata hu nhii aata hu yaa chalta hu.
DR- Same Mummy. Chalta hu Dhyaan rakhna.
MS- Byee drive safely.
DR- Ji madam. Bye
( He went till door of her room and stopped on door for second turned towards her )
DR- Maanika me hu.
( She smiled and waved at him he too smiled and waved and went from there.)
