Kai point of view
It has been over 6 hours since Lloyd has went unconscious, I decided to go upstairs and to check if he was okay. I entered his room, and could see him hugging his pillow, and wrapping his blanket around his legs like a burrito.
I looked closer at his face and saw a face of discomfort, I sighed as I realized this. I then tried to wake him up "wha-what?", he said with a confused tone, he was than gasping for air, as he sat up and looked around. "What happen?" I asked as he looked at me, "I..I was having a night mare,... don't make fun of me please...it was horrible", he said in a nervous tone, as he looks down at his hand, in fear.
"It's alright, you know I'll never make fun of you, I'll always be here to comfort you", I said proudly, trying my best to comfort him. He smiles and gets out of bed, I followed him as he went downstairs. I can see everyone waiting in the sofa, when Lloyd came down.
Lloyd point of view (nightmare start)
Where am I? I walked down the dark hallway, that led to this purple light, I than entered it, and saw a strange statue as I got closer to it, I could see it was an oni and a dragon statue aka the first spinjitzu master, they looked like they were fighting, gripping each others hands while pushing each other, but they had completely different face expressions and emotions expressed on their faces.
My grandfather was filled with confidence and he looked proud to stand his ground against the oni, while the oni had a mischievous smirk and looked a bit angry. As I continued walking, I started to see a figure from a far, it started to walk towards me, and I had a sense of walking towards it too, and I did.
As we finally met, the darkness started to disappear, and when it did, I was shocked, right in front of me was the Overlord himself, he was smirking and than held his hand out to me, I did the same and a beam of light was starting to blast out of me, the light came out the color yellow, white, and green.
I was nervous, as I took a look at the Overlord, as I saw a purple substance release from the Overlord and entering me. Once the process was over, he then let go of my hand and started to walk away, and then he was gone. I was laying on the floor, unable to move while feeling a bunch of pain rushing throughout my body.
(End of nightmare) 💋
I started to wake up from my nightmare, and saw Kai right in front of me, I quickly sat up, and took a deep breath to try to calm myself down. I was blocking all the noises out until I realized I was actually awake, "wha-what?" I said confused, "what happen?", Kai asked, looking very worried, "I..I was having a night mare...don't make fun of me please, it was horrible" I said in a very nervous tone, as I look down at my hand, getting a reminder of what happened a few minutes ago.
"It's alright, you know I'll never make fun of you, I'll always be here to comfort you", he said in a confident tone, and with a proud look, this made me happy, and I smiled.
We than went downstairs, and I can see everyone sitting down on the sofa, looking very worried. Kai then walks in front of them, gathering all of their attention. "Guys, Lloyd is awake now...we can start now", Kai exclaims, as he sat down with the others, while everyone else eye me down. I gulped at this, "what's going on?", I questioned as they gave me a look of concern.
"We have some quest we need to ask you", Nya said, looking down, and not making eye contact with me.
Before I got to respond, Master Wu walked in on us, and held my shoulder tightly. "Lloyd, we understand what you are going through, but please answer our questions truthfully", my uncle stated to me, as he walks off to the side. "What's going on? First you guys are asking me to answer questions, that I have no idea what you mean. And now you're saying I'm going through something, which I am not!" I shouted, as I stared at each one of them for a respond.
"What do you mean? You were a oni a few hours ago, that's what your going through, and we thought you were nervous to tell us that", Jay says as he took a glance at my eyes and back to the ground. I was angry and confused, I wanted answers.
"I was never an Oni, and I don't even know how you found out? But I have no memory of ever being one!", I cried out, as I ran towards my room. I slammed my door shut and went to go wash my face in the bathroom sink, as I did, I could still see my eyes still the color purple. I punched the wall out of anger, not hard enough to break it, but hard enough to make a dent, than I heard a voice.
And than I heard knocks at my room door, I sighed as I walk towards my door "who is it...?", I said in a grumpy tone, and than heard uncles voice, "me, your uncle Wu", I slowly unlocked my door, and than slowly opened it, "what is it? Are you here to give me a lecture?", he than nod his head no, and then I let him into my room. He sat on my bed and patted to the spot next to him, signifying that he wants me to sit right next to him.
I listen, and sat right next to him. "Is it true that you have no memory of being a oni?" Uncle asked, and I nodded with honesty in my eyes, but to it only look evil and decisive. "What's the last thing you remember?", he said with another question ringing in my head.
"Well, last thing I remember is...is that I was drinking tea, and I started to feel woozy, that's when I went to the bathroom", uncle looked at me, and started to think, I have no idea what he is thinking...he's hard to read sometime. "How about now, any visions, weird dreams, or any flashbacks, or anything out of the ordinary?", Wu asked me. I thought for a moment should I tell him about my dream, I looked at him in the eye, and decided to answer his weird question, "I-i did had a weird dream a few minutes ago, an-and it was a bit painful", I got nervous and looked back at my hands.
"Can you be more specific?" Uncle Wu asked me, and I nodded my head, "I was walking down this dark hallway, and then I saw this statue of the first spinjitzu master and an Oni fighting, the Oni and my grandfather were looking real emotional, but they had completely different emotions expressed in the statue..", uncle looked surprised, and than I continued my response, "afterwords, I kept walking and saw a figure in front of me, we both walked forward to each other, and what shocked me was that the figure was the overlord, that's when we both raised our hands, and than we both shook our hands together, like if someone was making a deal, he than left me, and I was screaming from pain, some weird purple substance was entering me, causing more pain to my body, I was so scared, but than Kai woke me up..." I tensed up, shutting my eyes close, I than could feel my uncles warm hand touch. My shoulder, than pulling me into a hug.
We soon than let go, and he finally answered to me, "...your dream could be important, what you explained to me is the handshake of misfortune, my father forbid it to me and my brother and anyone else who knew about it, its when a Oni and a dragon, or hybrid makes a deal, the onus always had something under their sleeves" I thought for a moment, when did I make a deal with the overlord though? "You must have forgotten, or the Overlord has done something to you, but I do know how to retrieve your memories back".
"What is it?" I asked, worried of what we must go through to retrieve my memories back, "we must find the tea of memories, it is hidden in a temple! Where ancient people used to live years ago, this civilization went through many things to keep this tea safe". (Why is everything about tea, I guess tea saves the day)
That was easier than I thought, I stood up and told my uncle "than let's go find it", We than both rushed downstairs to the others to tell the news. After explaining the situation that we are in, we all gathered our materials, ninja suits, and our vehicles. Master Wu was sitting with me, in the back seat.
"Where's the location Master Wu?", Zane asked over the radio, "towards the desert, outside ninjago city, you'll see it when you see it" he said calmly, Zane than put the location up for everyone, and we followed the path. After a while, we were in the desert now.
"Look, there's water over there, I can finally drink something...", Jay exclaimed as he shared his screen with the rest of us, "good idea Jay, we all should get something to drink" Cole agreed, and before we know it, we were there.
"Wait, there's a temple next to it, maybe it's the one we are looking for", Kai said, I than also looked around it, and it did had one. I was freaking out in the inside, but trying my best to act cool on the outside.
We than come to a stop "Uncle, is this the place?" I asked, and he nodded yes, I sighed and walked towards it with everyone else. "Looks pretty big for a temple", Cole stated, and I could agree with what he said, it was covered in sand and water was coming out from the top of it, and vines were everywhere and was covering most of the place, and there was a sweet smell coming out of the temple.
"Ready?", I asked, than every ine responded in the same time "ready!", "NOT READY!" Jay shouted, and everyone turn to glare at Jay, "hehe...I mean ready?" He whispered in a nervous laugh. We all walked in, ready for the danger that might approach us.
