My body enters the cold water.
I'm a few seconds behind Victoria but somehow I manage to lose her.
I turn around in the water, trying to find her.
A blur of red rushes past me causing me to whip my head to the side.
Suddenly hands are around my throat. Victoria flashes her teeth at me in attempts to frighten me.
It doesn't work.
Before I can drop my jaw, she looks behind me. I turn and see Bella floating. She pushes me away and swims towards Bella.
I have two choices.
I could allow her to hurt Bella, or I could save the girl.
I curse at myself and swim towards them. Bella is swimming backwards in attempts to escape Victoria.
Her head hits a rock and her eyes close. I quickly grab Victoria by her leg and yank her back.
I punch her one good time and harshly push her back. Her body goes flying through the water, disappearing in the murkiness.
My lungs burn as I rush towards Bella. I manage to grab her and shake her awake. I point to the surface and she nods. We break for air and both gasp out.
"What where you doing Bella?!" I shout in confusion. Before she can even attempt to explain, a wave knocks us under.
I try to grab on to her so we stay together, but my body gets tossed and turned in the currents.
After a few seconds the Tide slows, and I'm able to see my surroundings.
I see Bella below me floating with her arm out, as if she's reaching for someone. I swim down and try to pull her up but I can't.
I can't breathe and my body is tired.
Just as I'm about to give up, someone grabs me, pulling me to the surface.
