I felt excitement and joy bubble in my belly. A mixture of happiness, relief, and a sense of accomplishment overwhelmed me. I found myself smiling uncontrollably, feeling my heart race with excitement and tears of joy rolling from my eyes. It's a moment where I felt a rush of confidence and a sense of validation for my skills and qualifications.
Knowing that your hard work and efforts have paid off brought an amazing sense of fulfillment and a bright outlook for the future.
After celebrating i enthusiastically went up to my room to make a to-do list and search my wardrobe. I carefully selected a professional outfit that will make me feel confident and presentable for my new job.
The whole afternoon i was brimming with excitement while I eagerly counted down the hours until I start my new job. I spent the evening visualizing myself thriving in my new role and it made me feel a sense of purpose and fulfillment. I couldn't help but smile throughout the day, my heart fluttering with eagerness to meet my new colleagues, dive into meaningful projects, and make a positive impact.
As the evening settles in, I found it harder to contain my excitement. I eagerly waited for Carina to come home so I can share the good news with her. I paced back and forth in the living room, glancing at the clock every few minutes. The anticipation built up and my heart beats faster with each passing second. I imagined the smile that will light up on her face when she hears the good news and it made me extremely excited.
A subtle knock on the door halted my movement and I rushed to get the door. Carina finally arrived home looking tired from a long day. I could see the fatigue plus excitement in her eyes which meant the day was as fun as it was supposed to be but I still couldn't contain my eagerness to share the good news. I embraced her which of course took her off guard. I led her to a cozy spot in the living room and went to get her a cup of juice.
"Okay okay, this is enough. Why are you being so nice and sweet?" She dropped the cup on the coffee table and reach out for her shoes so she could take them off.
I kept grinning like a kid on Christmas morning while I impatiently waited for her to unwind and settle down. Finally, when I felt she was ready, I shared the wonderful news. My face beaming with happiness and my voice filled with excitement. Although tired, carina's eyes lit up and her fatigue melted away in an instant.
"Oh Heavenly Father! I'm so happy for you Luna" she dramatically squealed and locked her arms around my neck. "C..Carina, I can't breathe" I managed to choke out. She let go and shook my body with excitement which made me feel dizzy.
"Wow! I'm so glad that all your dreams are finally coming through". She sincerely told me with tears lingering in her eyes. I threw my arms around her and submerged into the warmth of the moment.
"I'm happy too"
"So when do you start?" She questioned with the same anticipation I had in my eyes moments ago.
"Tomorrow" i informed and her eyes widened in surprise.
"Isn't that too soon? What time would you have to get ready? What..... "Carina, calm down will you? I already have my outfit sorted out, I'm just waiting for a message from Ms Serrano concerning the venue I'll meet with her" a look of relief settled in her eyes.
"I have no where to be tomorrow so you can take my car. You know it's your first day, i wouldn't want you to be late" I smiled at her thoughtfulness and shook my head.
"You forget that I don't know how to drive". I reminded her.
"Then I can drive you so..... "Carina no need for that, I'll just be up early and take an Uber. So tell me how was your 'Get together'. Her eyes lit up and she sat upright. She could barely contain her excitement.
With a grin on her face, she leaned in closer as she began sharing every detail of her incredibly exciting day. Her words spilled out rapidly, her voice bubbled with enthusiasm as she recounts the moments they shared. She gestures emphatically, using her hands to illustrate certain parts of the story, making it come alive.
In the early hours of the morning, I awakened to the soft rays of sunlight peeking through my curtains.I stretched my limbs, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness for the day ahead. With a quick glance at the clock, I realize that I need to get moving. I hopped out of bed, my feet landed on the plush carpet and I made my way to the bathroom. As I turned on the shower, steam filled the room which awakened my senses and invigorated my tired mind.
The sound of water cascaded down like a gentle rain, and helped wash away any remnants of sleepiness.
After a refreshing shower, I dried my body and stood in front of the mirror while I carefully styled my hair then took my outfit from the wardrobe. Satisfied with my choice, I slipped into the chosen attire. With a touch of gloss and a spritz of my favorite perfume, I felt ready to embrace what laid ahead of me today. I grabbed my bag which was complete with all the essentials needed I headed out the door.
I got to the living and immediately my eyes spotted Carina in the kitchen making a cup of coffee. With a warm smile, I walked over and gave her a quick morning hug. In that brief moment, she gave me words of encouragement and well wishes. "Take care alright! And remember to give me a call if anything goes wrong" she gently stroked my cheek with her thumb. I pulled her hand away and held her wrist. "I will". She wished me good luck again and followed me out of the house. My Uber was waiting for me already which i was grateful for. She bids me farewell and reminded me to take care of myself again.
"I'll see you later" I yelled from the car. I waved at her one last time and rolled the window up. "Good morning sir" the middle aged man looked at me through the rear view mirror and responded to my greeting with a plain smile. Seems like someone isn't in a good mood.
He began the ride and all throughout, while the car glided through the city streets, my mind brimmed with a mixture of emotions.
Excitement pulses through my veins as I envisioned the possibilities that laid ahead in my new job. I took a deep breath, feeling a sense of accomplishment for landing into this opportunity.
Thoughts of meeting new colleagues, tackling challenging projects, and making a positive impact swirled in my mind.
A touch of nervousness tingled in the background, reminding me of the unknowns that awaited me. Yet, my determination and eagerness overpowered any hint of doubt. I gazed out of the window, watching the vibrant cityscape pass by, the bustling hustle echoing the fresh energy in my heart.
As we drew closer to our destination confusion and admiration settled in my chest. Admiration because the building was beautiful, and confusion because I wasn't expecting a residential building, a house. The man ended the ride and I gave him his pay.
As I stepped out of the car and onto the property of the magnificent modern mansion, I took in the breathtaking view. I found herself surrounded by lush, vibrant vegetation.
The landscape design was a work of art, with perfectly manicured lawns and vibrant flowers in bloom.
Tall, graceful trees gently swayed in the breeze, casting dappled shadows across the grounds. The horizon stretched out before me, offering a stunning panoramic view of rolling hills and sparkling waters in the distance.
I was transfixed by the beauty and serenity of the scene. It felt like stepping into a dream, a sanctuary where tranquility and natural splendor coexist.
I walked up the stone pathway that led to the grand entrance of the modern mansion. With each step, my excitement grew, and my heart beats a little faster in anticipation. As I approached the magnificent door, i took a moment to admire its intricate design.
Gathering my courage, I reached out and gave the door a confident knock. The sound resonates through the expansive entrance hall, creating an echo of anticipation.
After a brief pause, I heard the sound of footsteps coming closer from inside. The door slowly swung open, revealing a warmly lit foyer. Standing before me was a welcoming maid, dressed impeccably in a professional cliche maid uniform. A genuine smile lit up our faces as our eyes locked together.
The maid graciously extends an invitation, gesturing for me to enter. As I stepped inside, the opulent interior dazzled me with its modern elegance and tasteful decor. I was greeted by a sense of luxury and sophistication that reflected the grandeur of the mansion.
With each step, I was guided deeper into the mansion, escorted by the maid. I marveled at the breathtaking architecture and thoughtful design that seamlessly blends comfort and innovation.
As we continued our journey through the mansion, i couldn't help but be overwhelmed by the warmth and hospitality that surrounded me.
I followed through the opulent halls of the mansion. Our footsteps muffled by the plush carpeting beneath our feet.
As we reached a set of double doors, they swung open to reveal a luxurious living room bathed in soft, warm lighting. I was immediately struck by the sheer elegance of the space.
