Few days before the new year.
Satomi was walking on the streets with a boutique of white roses in her hand. It's been few days after they killed Geto Suguru it's been normal again for them but she's still worried about Satoru. Even though he won't show it, Satomi knew that something has left him, he changed his smile into more gentle one...like him? Well who knows.
Satomi walked straight into a small house in an infamous alley of Tokyo and ringed the doorbell. Few mins later the door opened revealing dark blue spike haired boy with green eyes,
"...." He stared at Satomi for few secs then stepped side from the entrance so she can enter. It's Satomi's weekend routine.
The boy watched Satomi entering that perticular room where his sister was sitting on the bed and looking through the window.
"Tsumiki" The girl in the room turned her face towards Satomi who was holding those white roses in her hand with a small smile. Tsumiki smiled brightly and gestured Satomi to sit on her side. Satomi walked over the flower vase and replaced those dead flowers with her newly brought white roses. Those dead flowers were also her's, she bought them nearly a week ago. It's been a such a long time that she visits Fushiguro siblings on weekends, basically it's Tsumiki who's always happy and excited to see her but not Megumi. Tsumiki was always close with Satomi since they were kids. And even after she's been cursed , Satomi still visits her in weekends and prays that she'll get well soon . No one knows if that's possible because... Tsumiki's condition is getting worse day by day .
Satomi walked over Tsumiki's bed and Tsumiki embraced her into a hug. Satomi couldn't say anything, she just wrapped her arms around Tsumiki's and closed her eyes. Tsumiki then broke the hug and held Satomi's hands in her hands , she looked sad , she looked defeated, she looked hopeless,
"Satomi-chan , .... Thank you so much for staying with us for this very long, everything you did for us...and and....." Tsumiki started crying and Satomi held her in her arms , rubbing her back and her head.
"If it's possible can you plz look out for Megumi? Plz Satomi-chan?"
Satomi broke the hug and looked at Tsumiki's face. She had those pleading eyes and she looked like she really wanted that .Satomi sighed and held Tsumiki's hand in her's,
"He doesn't seem to like me that much ...I guess but I'll do as you ask. So, don't worry....."
"Promise?"
"Promise Tsumiki. I'll." Tsumiki broke intro crying on Satomi's shoulders. Again Satomi patting her back and trying to calm her down,
"I'm sorry I couldn't visit you last weekend.... I was busy with my missions"
"It's fine Satomi-chan because even you had such tough jobs to do....you still remembered us. I'm glad for that. Thank you so much for being here. You are an amazing person Satomi-chan."
And with a smile Tsumiki looked at Satomi with her warm smile. She was getting tired so Satomi let her sleep. Tsumiki fell asleep quickly. Satomi looked at her from the balcony. Her eyes softening in the view. She watered those white roses,
"get well soon Tsumiki."
Satomi closed Tsumiki's bedroom door slowly and moved on the hallway. She was startled by a deep voice,
"Gojo senpai"
Satomi turned around to see Megumi standing right behind her. She gained her composure and replied,
"You're coming to Tokyo jujutsu high this next year right?"
"Maybe..."
"....." Satomi sighed and put her hand in her sidebag, "don't forget your reasons Megumi." She brought out a small packet and handed him to Megumi, "I'll be off"
Satomi walked out of their house and walked out from his sight too. After she was out of his sight, Megumi opened the box to see some strawberry and caramel cupcakes . Tsumiki likes strawberry and Megumi likes caramel.
Megumi kept looking at those cupcakes five mins straight before snapping back to reality and walking inside the house.

The New Beginning:
Satomi looked up at those fireworks in the sky. Everyone is celebrating 'happy new year'. After everything has happened everyone is trying to move on. Satomi looked down then to her right side, there was Satoru in a distance', standing and looking up at the sky, but his eyes were closed,
"No matter how beautiful the sky looks right now,
It'll never look the same without you."
Satomi sighed and then looked at her left side, there was Megumi in a distance, he's also looking at the sky, his pupil shinning in those reflection of fireworks. He's definitely thinking about Tsumiki right now, after all she's the only family member he had left. After the day Satomi visited Tsumiki, she fell into coma and her condition even got worse. She wanted Tsumiki to be okay and get well soon but I guess it's just so hard to find peace sometimes.
Megumi looked away after a while,
"You were my only hope to keep going."
Because it's new year, all the sorcerers got a day off but if anything argent happens then they'll pull up. Their job is quite tiring to be honest and it's not cool at all. But the payment that comes is huge but ofc that's also based on your grade and service. Megumi never comes outside of his house with others unless it's Satoru who drags him out often . Today wasn't the exception. Satoru literally went into his house and dragged him out to see fireworks. Everyone deserves happiness but it's just too hard sometimes. Satomi sighed at the view of two men standing beside her and going through the most difficult time of their lives, then how can Satomi be happy?
Satomi turned around to visit some small shops there. There always a market at the time of new year and people wear traditional clothes this time. They were wearing that too. Satomi looked at her kimono and smiled a bit. She felt pretty today and was attracting a lot if attentions but Satoru was sending death glares to those men, lol. Satomi stood in front of a bracelet shop and was looking through some bracelet to buy,
"Gojo senpai"
"Hmm?" Satomi looked by her side to see Megumi. He was looking at her while holding a mochi in his hands. Satomi smiled a bit.
"I'm coming to Tokyo jujutsu high." Megumi spoke and then looked away. Satomi just smiled and sighed knowing that Megumi has to. And besides, he's no one right now. So according to Tsumiki's promise....
"See you soon, Megumi"
Satomi gave him a small smile and before Megumi could say anything, she put a bracelet on his wrist. It looked pretty. Megumi stared at the bracelet then at Satomi's face and then back to the bracelet. He was about to say something but Satoru just popped up out if nowhere and made them leave the place.
Satomi waved a little goodbye to Megumi and then she left with Satoru. Megumi went inside his house alone after that. He's lonely. At least after joining jujutsu high, he won't be so lonely anymore. And besides....he want to save people....good people.
In this year he made up his mind. He'll pay back his benefactor, Satoru and will keep his promise . A new era is about to begin and that fifteen years old boy was ready for everything that was gonna happen into his life.
When you lose your will to live, you become more desperate and powerful. Because betting on life becomes easier.

Satoru: just get it. It looks nice! *angry uncle noises*
Satomi: ...okay I guess.
Satoru: YES , FOR BEING ANOTHER GOJO YOU HAVE TO SHOW OFF.
Satomi : ....*ends up buying it* ]

[Oh and the bracelet she casually just put on Megumi's wrist and left without any explanation. To be honest, she wanted to give him different bracelet but thought of being it 'too much' for Megumi and just didn't gave it to him. But she did buy it though.]
