I wrapped my towel around me before taking a deep breath. That was the best shower I ever took, I love me a hot shower.
Today was our last day here in Aruba, and I enjoyed it for the most part. Will I ever plan a trip with my family again?
Fuck no.
We're getting ready to leave for the airport in a little, it's late I'm actually ready to get back home to my comfort space.
Being in a house with a bunch of people and kids is too much for me.
I collected my dirty clothes before turning and hitting my stomach on the corner of the counter
"Mommy sorry stinky" I apologized while rubbing the area, "God please watch over my baby, please"
For a few seconds, I stood there having a panick attack. I don't even know what to do, I'm honestly just scared.
I made my way out and into the room me and Flau'jae were in. She's knocked out tired from shooting her music video all day.
They finished later than expected, so she tired and grumpy. I don't even know if I wanna tell her at all even though I should.
If I don't she'll be mad.
My clothes was laid out on the bed, so I quickly lotion my body and put them on.
"Bae come on get up, we need to be getting our stuff out. You know the shuttle on the way" I shook her just to not get a response
I don't like how she sleeps hard, like something could be wrong and she's peacefully dreaming about sex and diamonds.
I tapped her continuously before she opened her eyes and just stared at me.
"Can you get up?"
"Why?"
"So we can go home" I said before she slowly sat up and rubbed her hands down her face, "And I hit my stomach on the edge of the counter"
"You hit your stomach?" she gave me a surprised look before I nodded, "Bae how — you be clumsy at the wrong damn times"
"Don't say that cause I already wanna cry about it, it wasn't on purpose" I said as she sighed pulling me closer caressing my stomach
"It hurt?"
"Flau'jae I hit it on the corner of the counter, yes it hurt. I'm scared, and I'm going to the doctor soon as we get home"
"We can go to the doctor, I just want you to be more careful. Be more cautious, but she okay think positive"
Eventually, we got our stuff completely together before everybody left. Making it to the airport, we passed security before waiting.
As we waited, I stuffed my face with candy. I'm not a huge fan of candy, but this chocolate just hit different. It was finally time to board the plan and we did just that
After hours had passed by we landed and left immediately. I love our drivers, they don't be playing no games.
"You sure you don't want me to help you?" I asked Flau'jae as she carried both of our suitcases up the stairs
"I got it mamas, you ain't supposed to be lifting nothing"
"Oh okay, you strong daddy" I said while laughing a little before she laughed too
"Bae stop, for real" she said as I continued to laugh to myself, "Come on so we can go, mamas"
I changed my clothes as she finished with the bags. We left making it to the doctor's, it's late so not too many people are here
"Yes, it can harm your baby but being that I don't feel anything, you should be fine" the lady said as Flau'jae stared at her confused
"What you mean 'should be'?" she asked in an aggressive tone before I grabbed her hand, "Can you do a ultrasound?"
"I can, but I've already done what I needed to do"
"You felt around her stomach, that ain't nothing. I could've did that shit at home" she said and I can tell she's getting impatient
"Calm down bae, she gone do it" I said now watching the lady prepare for the ultrasound
"Now she is, I'm ready to go and I'm reporting you too. You think cause it's midnight you can half ass your job? "
She went on and on about it, which was not surprising. On our way here she was arguing with somebody on the phone, so I guess this just the icing on the cake
After she confirmed that everything was okay we left. I got myself together before getting straight in the bed
The next morning I woke up to a bunch of noise. As I slowly got out the bed my phone started ringing before I answered
"So why you ain't tell me momma canceled my flight?" My brother asked before I rolled my eyes
"Juju I don't know what you talking about"
"Angel yes you do, y'all talk about everything together. So I know you know, she told you"
"I don't know nothing, she told me you just wasn't coming on the trip. We didn't get into no details about why"
"Cause she got mad at me for smoking in her house, so she cancelled my flight and got her money back" he said before I started laughing
"Why would you smoke in her house?" I asked because that was stupid, "She's petty for that though"
"Cause I didn't feel like going outside and I'm grown. Tell her to stop acting like a weirdo, like you need to call her and get on her"
We finished talking before hanging up, I don't know why he feel like I can tell our mom what to do.
Like I'm not her mom, it's the other way around. She's gonna bring me back down to reality and tell me to try again
I got up and headed to the bathroom before sitting on the toilet. Every morning, I take the longest pee ever.
It shouldn't take that long to pee.
After I was done I brushed my teeth and washed my face before leaving out
"Who the hell?" I asked to myself but loud enough for the man to hear me, "How — what are you in here for?
"Um I was hired" he said as Flau'jae came walking out one of the guess room
"Why the hel — bae go put on clothes now. What you standing there for?" she said while grabbing me and pulling me in the direction of our room
"I'm tryna figure who he is and why he here?"
"He working on the house, I need you to put on clothes. I don't know how long they gone be here" she said before planting a kiss on my lips, "I love you"
"I love you more, and why you didn't tell me people was coming?"
"Between us getting back late, the hospital, and my momma, I forgot" she before sighing loud and I grabbed her face
"I know that face, stop stressing"
"I'm chilling, you hungry?" she asked now changing the subject, which confirmed that she was indeed stressed
I don't know what she's stressed about, but we'll talk later.
"Yeah, but I'll get food while I'm out. Nabeela texted me and asked if I could come over and talk" I said before she just shrugged
"I ain't even gone say what I wanna say, just let me know how it go. Let me know when you leaving the house too"
She left out before I quickly slipped on some clothes. After grabbing everything I needed, I left.
I'm actually nervous because it's been months since I've seen or talked to Nabeela.
"You look so good and happy" Nabeela said as we shared our second hug, "You sure you don't want nothing to eat or drink?"
"I ate on the way, I promise I'm okay. You would know if I needed something "
"Okay, I'm just tryna make sure. So to the real deal, I wanna apologize. I was in the moment and didn't realize I was being selfish. I understand that's y'all blessing, so I sincerely apologize"
Finally somebody taking accountability for once.
"I accept your apology, Nabeela. Thank you for apologizing, you talked to Endyia?"
"Yeah, she actually on the way"
"I hope she snapped back into reality because she gave me a watered down apology" I said before Nabeela just shook her head
"When I told her you was coming, she did say she'll apologize"
Hopefully everything goes right because I miss my girls. This is one of the moments I want them to experience with me.
I'm gonna think positively.
