I replied and declined the call without waiting for his response. I glanced at the view in front of me for a minute and then decided to drive back to the company, as I entered my office thankfully there was no one but a huge pile of paperwork waiting for and just like that I got busy with back-to-back meetings and paperwork.
Everything feels like deja vu, just similar to the old ways that I used to keep myself busy to escape from reality. I guess I'm going to this more often now, but this time I won't neglect the kids, I'll make sure to spend rational time with them, and I'll do anything for my kids...
