"I'm screwed" Aneysa sighs.

"That's ironic" Ao'nung laughs, before looking at Aneysa, who looks back at him blankly.

"You know.. because he screwed you, that how you got pregnant..?" Ao'nung responds, gaining a hit with a pillow in his face.

"Ao'nung, I'm serious" Aneysa responds.

"Why are you upset Aneysa? This is great news? You've got that one percent chance of having your own child. I don't understand?" Ao'nung asks.

"Neteyam won't want it" Aneysa responds.

"Did he say that?" Ao'nung asks.

"...I haven't told him" Aneysa confesses.

"I'm the first to know!" Ao'nung squeals in excitement, before realising it was the wrong momen to do so.

He sighs, kneeling down in front of her, as she wiped her tears and tried to look away, "I know, that you are scared. But you have to speak to him. You can't just assume, based on something his ex girlfriend said."

"But he confirmed it" Aneysa let out a sniffle, wiping her nose, "he said that keeping Efe and Orla wasn't his decision. I- this is all my fault. I've ruined our marriage."

"Stop" Ao'nung gave her a stern look, "your marriage is not ruined. He loves you, with his whole heart and you love him just as much. Okay, maybe it wasn't his choice to become a parent to both, Efe and Orla, but now that he has, he cares about them a lot. He will do the most for them. The same way he does for you. You have to talk about it with him."

She nods, "but I can't now. He's angry at me. He probably doesn't even want to look at me. I was so horrible to him.. I don't even know why."

"How about you stay here for the night hm? You can borrow something of Love's to sleep in, then tomorrow you can both talk tomorrow with fresh heads, hm?" Ao'nung offers to her.

"It won't be a hassle?" Aneysa asks.

"Not at all. Momma bear needs some rest" Ao'nung chuckles, causing Aneysa to hit him lightly on the arms.

"Come on, I'll set up the guest bed" Ao'nung helps her up, the two of them making their way up.

-

Neteyam sat on the edge of his and Aneysa's bed, rocking back and fourth.

Their argument replaying in his head over and over again.

"Fuck.." he mutters under his breath in disappointment, as he slowly drops his head into the palm of his hands, his elbows digging into his thighs.

Confused on whether to call for her and ask her to come back, or to give her space.

He needed to know she was okay, at least. Not wandering the streets.

But he didn't want to cause any trouble. He wanted her to have the space she needed.

It was no doubt they'd hit a bump like this soon, just like every couple has. Their marriage had been a smooth sail, so Neteyam expected much like this.

He just didn't expect it to feel this painful.

It was the first time he had been apart from her, after an argument, and it killed him.

In his own thoughts, he jumps out of them, after hearing a ding from his phone, startling him.

When he realised who had been calling him, at this time, he immediately picked up the phone, "is she okay? Is she with you?"

"Yes she is" Ao'nung whispered, "and she's okay for now. She's fallen asleep."

"That's good" Neteyam let out a sigh of relief, "thank you so much."

"Neteyam, how are you? Are you okay?" Ao'nung asks.

"... I didn't mean to say what I said Ao'nung."

"Of course you didn't. Out of all people, I know. We were there, the day it happened. Everything you said was just out of anger but it'll be okay. She will understand" Ao'nung responds.

"She's my wife for gods sake" Neteyam let out a frustrated chuckle.

"You both need to talk it out, but right now you need some sleep" Ao'nung tells him.

"I can't-"

"Sleep, Neteyam. I know she is important to you but your health is just as important. So get some rest. And take care of yourself."

Neteyam swipes his thumb across his phone screen, the line then getting cut.

He sat there, in his dimly lit room, his gaze fixed on the infinite expanse of space beyond the window. His eyes, once so full of conviction, now held a glimmer of remorse.

-

"Thank you for letting me come with you" Tsireya thanks Love.

"It's no worry. I'd be more than happy to bring you with me. We're sister in laws, after all" Love chuckles.

"Well, I am still thankful" Tsireya smiles.

"Ao'nung explained to me about.. Davide I think his name was?" Love asks.

"My psychotic ex boyfriend, who tried to assault me" Tsireya sighs, sitting down onto the bed, "this is my fault. My taste in men is atrocious."

"We've all had our fair share of bad relationships. You shouldn't beat yourself up about it" Love shrugs.

"My brother had to kill someone because of my choices and now we are being threatened with a letter" Tsireya responds.

"And he would do it again for you. He'd kill for you because that's what siblings do. It doesn't make either of you a bad person" Love then joins her, as she sits beside Tsireya.

"I'm just worried for Lo'ak. He shouldn't have been dragged into this when all he did was keep me by his side that day. Aneysa and Ao'nung did most the work" Tsireya sighs.

"Lo'ak will be fine. Right now his priority is keeping you and Lo'reya safe. So do not worry" Love assures her, as she places her hand around Tsireya's shoulders, a side hug given with a comforting squeeze.

-

"Ao'nung has got himself into something, once again" Tonowari sighs, "I will become penniless before he decides to murder another person."

"What had happened now?" Ronal asks.

"A murder of Tsireya's ex boyfriend is now coming to taunt him back" Tonowari shook his head, "I have to do something."

"Ao'nung is a grown man, I'm sure he can figure this out" Ronal responds, pouting to him as she watches him from the bed, hoping he'd finally get in.

"You'd think that considering his age" Tonowari tilts his head as he gives her a look of uncertainty.

"Tono, get in bed. Let me help you relax" Ronal offers.

"I don't think anything can help me relax" Tonowari responds.

"Let me try" Ronal pulls him towards her, forcefully getting him to bed.

"Okay you can try, but- ooh-oh god" Tonowari was caught of guard, as Ronal places her lips gently across his neck.

"Do you like that?" She whispers.

"Mhm- yes I like that" Tonowari nodded, his eyes fluttering in pleasure.

-

As it got to the next morning, Neteyam woke up to find himself asleep on the bedroom floor.

Curled up into a ball, his back against the bed frame, having no idea when he managed to fall asleep if how.

Despite his now aching body, from sleeping in such an uncomfortable position, he pulled himself up, making his way to the bathroom to freshen up.

-

After freshening up, Neteyam made his way downstairs, only to find Efe and Orla dressed and ready for school, Efe now eating breakfast whilst Orla had been making lunch for both of them.

"Good morning" Neteyam spoke softly, as he ruffled with Efe's hair with his hands.

"Efe, your lunch is done" Orla hands him over his lunch, completely ignoring Neteyam's presence.

"You should have woke me. I could have made you something" Neteyam tells her.

"No need" Orla responds.

"Do you want me to drop you off?" Neteyam asks.

Orla shook her head no, walking past him, to get to her school bag.

"You can leave me" Efe smiles.

Neteyam smiles back at him, nodding in agreement to drop him off before looking back at Orla.

"I'm going" She speaks, making her way out the door.

"Orla, wait" Neteyam walks after her.

She turns around, the two of them standing in the hallway.

"Are you sure you don't want me to drop you off? What's wrong?" Neteyam asks.

"Nothing. I just.. don't want to be a problem to you" Orla shrugs.

"Why would it be a problem? I usually drop you and Efe off" Neteyam looks at her unsure.

"Well.. that was before I knew that it wasn't exactly your choice to keep me here" Orla responds.

"Orla, I didn't mean it in that way" Neteyam looked at her pleadingly.

"It's okay. Besides, I'll be out of your way in a couple of days. I found some family members who will be willing to take me in" Orla turns around, walking out.

Neteyam stood watching her, realising just how much was changing all in one day.

-

"I'm going to get breakfast. Do you want anything? Bagel? Croissant? Your husband?" Ao'nung asks.

"I'm okay" Aneysa responds, as she's laid down on the floor, curled up into a blanket, just after being sick.

"Welp, your husband it is" Ao'nung responds before he walks out, closing the door behind him.

A glimpse of the sun was shining upon him, hidden between the clouds. A slight breeze hitting through.

Ao'nung was making his way to his car, whistling to the tune of one of his favourite songs, A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton.

Completely forgetting the fact that someone knew that he was a murderer.

As he got to his car, ready to open the door, just like it was any other day, he was stopped by a click of a gun, feeling a pinch against his head.

"Hands up" he hears.

He raises his hands up, slowly turning around, to then let out a chuckle, "Lorenzo."

"Surprise mother fucker" Enzo smirks back, at the killer of his brother.
