Exploring the vast labyrinth of the headquarters was an exhausting endeavor,
Jungkook was now really tired and was visibly limping.
Witnessing Jungkook's struggle, Taehyung couldn't help but sigh. Without warning, he hoisted Jungkook up in his arms, the action taking the younger man by surprise.
"Put me down, Taehyung!" Jungkook protested, his voice a mix of surprise and indignation.
Taehyung glanced at Jungkook, "I don't want you following me like a limping penguin," he explained, though the term only drew an incredulous glare from Jungkook.
Then Taehyung carried jungkook to the parking area, back to their cars.
Taehyung carrying Jungkook was an sight that quickly gained attention from the nearby guards.
Taehyung set Jungkook down gently, his demeanor returning to its usual composed state. "You should go home," he suggested, "I have a few meetings to attend."
Jungkook didn't argue, the exhaustion finally taking its toll. He soon left the headquarters.
However, Jungkook's original plan took a detour on his way home. He suddenly decided he didn't want to return to the empty mansion. In a spur of the moment decision, he dialed his manager, Ji-Hyun, and explained his change of plans.
"Meet me at my favorite ice cream place," Jungkook said with a little excitement in his voice.
Ji-Hyun, agreed without hesitation. "I'll be there soon,"
At the Icecream place........
Jungkook sat at his favorite ice cream place, eagerly awaiting his manager, Ji-Hyun. When Ji-Hyun finally arrived, Jungkook practically lunged at him, wrapping his arms around the manager in a tight, bear-like hug.
"How is your ankle now ?" Ji-Hyun asked with genuine concern.
Jungkook leaned back in his chair and dramatically sighed, placing a hand over his heart. " Much better after seeing you."
Ji-Hyun laughed, his voice bubbling with affection. "Oh, Jungkook, you're such a drama queen."
Jungkook grinned and then signaled for the waiter. "Two scoops of chocolate ice cream please."
As the icecream arrived they both immediately started digging in, savoring each bite and enjoying the delectable sweetness.
Laughter and giggles filled the air,
After the icecream was finished, They decided to have a little walk.
As they were walking Jungkook's eyes fell upon a claw machine nearby. Excitement sparked in his eyes, and he couldn't resist smacking Ji-Hyun on the arm, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "Get me that bear, it looks so cute."
Ji-Hyun, approached the claw machine. He made a few attempts, but the bear seemed just out of reach. Jungkook, however, grew impatient and decided to give it a shot himself. He attempted to push Ji-Hyun aside,
But before Jungkook could make his move, Ji-Hyun swept him up by the waist and effortlessly placed him on the other side of the machine.
In response to Ji-Hyun's actions, Jungkook couldn't help but deliver a solid smack to Ji-Hyun's head,
" Silly hyung."
After an hour......
Jungkook returned home not expecting to find Taehyung sitting in the living room, absorbed in his work on a laptop.
Taehyung glanced up at Jungkook and couldn't help but let out a dark chuckle, his eyes dancing with a hint of amusement.
"You should've spent more time with your manager, Jungkook," Taehyung said, the tone of his voice carrying a somewhat ominous edge.
Jungkook's brows furrowed, and he couldn't quite grasp the underlying meaning of Taehyung's words.
" How do you know-" he stopped in the middle.
He was taken aback by this remark and couldn't help but react strongly. "Are you stalking me?" he blurted out, his voice filled with a mix of surprise and anger.
Taehyung, rose from his chair and approached Jungkook. He leaned in close, their faces mere inches apart, and he locked eyes with Jungkook, his gaze unyielding.
"Stalking or not, you went with your manager, didn't you?" Taehyung responded in a low, commanding voice,
The proximity, Taehyung's unwavering gaze, and his domineering tone were enough to push Jungkook over the edge. He shoved Taehyung away with all the force he could muster, taking a step back.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Jungkook shouted, his voice trembling with a mix of anger and frustration. His face was flushed with emotion,
In a fit of fury, Jungkook continued, "I can do whatever I want, Taehyung. And if you ever even think of stalking me again, I won't spare you."
Taehyung's response was unexpected and sent shivers down Jungkook's spine. He grabbed Jungkook by the shoulders, his grip firm and unyielding, as he stared directly into Jungkook's eyes. The intensity of his gaze was disconcerting.
"I didn't stalk you," Taehyung asserted, his voice deep and laced with an underlying menace. "And I'm not telling you what to do or not to do."
Frustration surged through Jungkook as he attempted to push Taehyung away, but Taehyung held on with an iron grip.
"Let go of me," Jungkook demanded, his voice shaking. "You're crazy!"
With one final, powerful push, Jungkook managed to break free from Taehyung's grip. Taehyung stumbled backward and landed on the sofa,
"You're absolutely insane!" Jungkook shouted, his voice cracking as tears streamed down his face.
The room crackled with tension as Taehyung retorted, "If I'm insane, then what does that make you, Jungkook? What does it make you?"
Jungkook's determination remained unshaken. He declared his intent to leave and headed for the door.
However, Taehyung stood in his way, his voice dripping with intensity.
"What the hell are you then?" Taehyung demanded, his gaze piercing through Jungkook. "You tell me you're going home and then you go out with your manager. What does that make you, Jungkook?"
This time, Jungkook's frustration and determination led him to grip Taehyung tightly, his knuckles turning white. He maintained eye contact with Taehyung, his voice unwavering, "I don't need your permission to go out with anyone I want."
Taehyung's anger smoldered as he countered, "Then why are you married to me? If you think I'm crazy, if you can't even accept a simple request from your husband, what's the point of this marriage, Jungkook?"
Meanwhile somewhere else........
Two ominous figures shared a sinister exchange. The first man, shrouded in darkness, erupted into maniacal laughter.
"I am really excited to continue this plan," he hissed, a sense of malevolence dripping from his voice.
The second man, joined in the wicked laughter. "Remember, you won't even lay a finger on Jungkook," he warned, his voice low and foreboding. "Only I can torture him."
The first man nodded in agreement, their dark intentions perfectly aligned. "Of course, I remember," he said, and together, they laughed in eerie harmony.
