*1 month later*
"No, let's walk. To get some exercise. Plus, it's not far and it's perfect weather" Raven said.
"Ok! Daddy you wanna play basketball when we get there?" Ky asked.
I nodded "fashoo lil man. Ima get changed real quick tho." I said.
I jogged up to my room and changed into a white T-Shirt, army cargo shorts, white nike elite socks and my white roshe runs. I put on my gold chain and gold studs.
"You ready?" Raven asked.
"Y-Yeah, I needa get somethin real quick tho" I lied pretending to look for something.
She nodded and walked out the room.
Once she was gone I kneeled down beside the bed.
"I know I haven't been praying like I'm supposed to but Im gon start now. Lord, I'm sorry for all I've done. I gonna do better for my family and become a better father for my kids and soon to be husband for Raven. I stopped messing in the streets so please, just protect my family for me. I just got them back and I never wanna loose them again. I really don't know how to pray but I swear I'm gon start going to church. Just please protect my family" I prayed.
Just as I stood up Raven walked back into the room.
"You found what you were looking for?" She asked.
"Uh, y-yeah. Let's go" I said.
We walked down the stairs where ky and the twins sat, watching tv.
"Wait I needa get my gun" I said.
I know i just said Ima start doing better but I can't risk it. Someone could try and shoot us, especially since we walking.
Before I could even walk up the stairs Raven grabbed my hand.
"You don't need it" she said.
"Wh-"
"Rj" Raven warned "what did you tell me a month ago?" She asked
I sighed "that I was done messing in the streets and Ima do better than before" I mumbled.
"Exactly. So there's no reason to bring it"
I sighed "Ight"
We put jameel and ja'kori in their stroller and I grabbed kyree's hand and headed out.

We walked to the park in the perfect weather. I wasnt too hot or cold.
I squinted my eyes. Can't be, can't fuckin be.
A rival drug gang. I killed a few of them niggas before. I shoulda brought my fuckin gun.
"Fuck" I mumbled.
They were in a car and we were fuckin walkin.
Niggas bet not try shit.
They slowly started driving towards us.
I stopped Raven and ky.
Once they started speeding to us i quickly turned the stroller behind the bush, facing the other way and pushed ky and Raven to the floor and covered them with myself.
"Keep your heads down!!" I yelled.
bullets flew through the air.
"Fuck!" I yelled.
One of the bullets flew right next to my arm.
Raven and ky screamed and the babies cried there little eyes out.
Once the car passed us i shot up.
I checked the twins.
They were good.
"Yall good?! Yall good?!" I asked Ray and ky.
Ky nodded and Raven held her side.
"Raven you good?!!" I asked.
She faintly shook her head, as she looked at her hand.
Blood was oozing out her side.
"FUCK!!!" I yelled pulling her up.
"Ky can you push the stroller?!" I asked. He nodded with tears in his eyes and we rushed back home.
"Someone help!!" I yelled running.
There was no one, this neighbor hood was too quiet.
Fuck man.
I opened the front door quickly and grabbed my keys to the escalade.
I put the twins in their car seats and ky buckled up. I put Ray down in the front seat and adjusted her seat back.
I put her seat belt on and hopped in the car, speeding to the hospital.
"Raven, please hold on ma! Please!" I said holding back the tears that were about to spill any second. I can't loose her. I can't.

Once we reached the hospital I hopped out the car getting Raven out
"Stay here real quick lil man Ight?"
Kyree nodded.
I ran into the hospital with Raven in my arms.
Before I could even yell for help the nurses came to get her, rushing her to the emergency room.
"Fuck!" I yelled putting my face in my hands. This is all my fuckin fault.
I wiped my tears that fell down and went back To the car to get ky, ja'kori and Jameel.
I pulled the door open and kyree had his head in his hands, crying.
"Cmon lil man, please don't cry." I said even though my voice was cracking
He wiped his tears and I pulled him out the car.
I got the twins out and put them in the stroller.
I took them inside sat down with ky next to me and some white lady.
I watched the twins play with their lil toys.
I slightly smiled.
I put my hands together "Lord pleas-"
I stopped.
Just before we started walking I prayed. It put my wife in the hospital and my kids in danger.
I shook my head.
"You have very beautiful children" the white lady said.
I looked over at her. "Thank you."
"Was the woman you brought the mother of these kids?" She asked
"Y-Yeah" I said.
"She will be fine, just pray."
"I prayed for the first time and look whea' I'm at" I said
"It will all get better, she will be fine." The woman said.
I nodded "thank you."
"Oh don't thank me, just pray."

I called Lorraine and Andre (Raven's parents) , my mom, jayla and keenon.
"Family of Raven Young"
I quickly stood up with kyree.
"Well, we got the bullet out and stopped the bleeding. We gave her some medication so she's fine now. You can go see her if you'd like" he said.
I looked to my left once I seen jayla and keenon walking in.
"Y-Yeah, gimme a minute"
He nodded and keenon and jayla rushed over to me.
"What happened?! Is she okay?" They both asked.
"Yeah, she coo. I'll tell yall after but Ima go see her real quick. Watch the kids fo' me real quick" I said.
They nodded and I rushed to rays room with the doctor.

Once I walked into the room Raven weakly smiled.
I smiled and rushed over to her.
"God I love you, I'm sorry bout this" I said planting kisses all over her face
"I love you too baby, and it's not your fault. I'm fine" she said
The doctor came back in, talking bout some shit but I really wasn't paying attention, I'm just happy Raven's ok.
"........unfortunately the baby didn't survive."
That caught my attention.
I looked up at him.
"Baby? What baby?!" Raven and I asked at the same time.
"Yes, you were a month and a half pregnant. I'm sorry for your loss." He said.
Anger rushed through my body. They killed my baby. My fuckin baby.
Tears rushed out Raven's eyes.
"I'll give you guys a minute" the doctor said walking out.
"My baby!" She cried.
I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her forehead.
Tears were building up in my eyes but I held my shit in.
Why is it now that I'm back on my feet, I got my family and stopped messing in the streets that something bad gotta happen that's gon drag me back to where I was just at? I just got out and shit wanna get messy again.
I held Raven while she cried her eyes out. Tears fell down my face as I planned how I was gon kill them niggas.
I'm finna kill 'em.
