Novalie's POV
After Lollapalooza and rolling loud,the squad and I decided to chill in Florida for 2 weeks before going back to LA. I've been thinking that I should make another album. I'll tell Travis when we come back.
Right now I'm at Jah's hotel room chilling and I would be lying if I said it wasn't hot in Florida,BITCH ITS HOTTER THAN A MOTHERFUCKER.
"Yo Jah." I said looking up from my phone and looking at him
He hummed in response letting me know that he was listening.
"Amala has a crush on stokeley and I need your help setting them up." I said.
Jahseh looked up from his phone and looking at me like I was crazy.
"No fucking way,I'm definitely helping you. That nigga hasn't shut up about Amala for days." He said before chuckling.
"Holy shit bruh,but here's the problem,idk where we should do it."
He looked like he was thinking about something and then he realised smth.
"There's this party Trippie is throwing,maybe we should set em up there. Basically its kind of a pool party. "
"Jah,you a genius! Thank you ."
"No problem."
I went into the main gc

Jahseh's POV
Almost everyone showed up to the pool party except for Symere and Travis because they had some business to handle.
Nova was wearing a black crop top and shorts. She said she'll change in a few minutes,we were chilling but I feel like nova hasn't got to now the members only gang so might as well .
"Yo nova!" A voice rang and we turned to look at where it came from,it was Craig.
"Oh hey Craig,how you doing?" Nova asked as she walked over and hugged him.
They talked for a few minutes before Craig asked me
"Aye vro the gang is here."
"Aight." I replied and got up and followed them
Novalie's POV
We went over to the members only gang and saw them talking and laughing.
"Hey guys." I said giving them a small wave.
" Hey mamas,how you doing?" Donald asked
"I'm okay Donald,how you doing?"
"I'm good."
"ESKEETIT!!" A voice yelled out and we all turned to see who it is,it was Gazzy.
"Oh hey nova." He said
Bass burst out laughing,Ool was shaking his head and I chuckled.
"Hey Gazzy." I said

We all continued talking until Mikey...aka Trippie Redd came with a light skin girl with curls.
"Hey guys!" Mikey says
We all greeted back
" Oh Mikey,you finally brought Ayleks !" Ming said
"Oh shut up Ming." Ayleks said before playfully rolling her eyes and turning to me.
"Wait, Brooklyn Storm ..right?" She asked
"Yep,that's me." I said before smiling
She squealed in happiness
"I'm a huge fan, paranoid era was fire." She said
"Thank youuuu "
" Can we take a picture?"
"Sure!"
We took a pic and it looked pretty good.
"Thank you so much." She hugged me and I hugged back.
"No problem Ayleks." I said.
"Alright lets get this pool party started!" Mikey yelled out as people cheered.
"Yo Mikey,where's the bathroom?" I asked
"Down right there on the hall." He replied
"Thanks."
I went to the bathroom and started to change.
*knock knock knock*
"Who is it?" I asked.
"It's Jah"
"Come in!" I yelled and the door opened.
Jahseh's POV
I opened the door to nova looking...so pretty in that swimsuit.
I looked up and down and saw her pretty tattoos
She put her hair into a messy bun then turned to me.
"Wanna change?"She asked
I nodded my head and she got out,letting me to change.
Novalie's POV
I stepped out of the bathroom and saw the squad and the members only gang looking at me
"What?" I ask
"Nova...your tattoos are fire bruh." Craig said
I giggled..
"Thanks Craig."
I went to the pool and dipped my feet in the water. Amala came to me wearing a neon green swimsuit and dipped her feet into the water.
"So...how are you gonna get us together?" Amala asked.
"Remember how I set up Solana and Travis together,maybe I can try that." I said
She nodded and playing with the water with her feet.
"Oh shit. " she said
I looked confused
"You have one hell of a body nova,and your tattoos dawg." She stared in amazement.
"Thanks." I chuckled.
I looked down to my body,I hated my body. I had body dysmorphia since high school. The kids there always told me that I was ugly and my teenage self believed them. Until I started self harming myself. It's been a while since I last did it.

Flashback
16 year old nova returned home from school as she quickly got into the bathroom and locked it. She sank into the floor and silently cried. After a while,still crying,she pulled out a razor from where she hid it after giving herself scars.
She slowly gave herself five scars on her left arm.
One for being a loser
Two for not being good enough
Three for being hideous
Four for being a dumbass bitch
Five for not being perfect
She wanted to be happy but life knocked her down. At that point she gave up and stopped trying.
End of Flashback
"Novie...nova..NOVA!" Amala yelled
"Huh?? Oh shit sorry,what did you say?" I said.
"Nothing ,you looked pretty zoned out."
"Oh,okay..."
"Wassup? You looked like you were thinking about something so much."
"Nothing, I just had a flashback when I got bullied in high school,I had body dysmorphia,still have it though. Everyday when I got home from school,I would run into the bathroom and gave myself scars." I said while showing her my left arm. It had marks of those scars .
Amala gasped and hugged me.
"I tried to be happy,Mala I tried.. but life knocked me down and at that point I gave up. I didn't even smile in months." I say as tears welled up in my eyes and I blinked so that they don't fall.
"What do you mean life knocked you down?" She asked.
"My dad was a narcissist fuck,he made sure to remind me every single day that I wasn't good enough,he made me join so much shit back then,from gymnastics to ballet to Tae Kwon do to cheerleading to the marching band. The bullying from middle to high school. I got kicked off the cheerleading team cuz the head cheerleader framed me by putting drugs in my locker,and lastly I was in a toxic relationship for 5 fucking years "
Amala shed some tears and hugged me
"Bitch,why didn't you tell me,I'm so sorry nova...I'm so fucking sorry." She said before she sniffled.
I shed tears too and wiped them away.
Jahseh's POV
I was heading to the pool when I heard nova's voice and I decided to listen.

I was shocked by what she said. Damn she went through so much shit.

She looked at me with tears in her eyes.
"You heard all of that?" She asked.
"Not all of it." I said before moving to her and giving her a hug.
I heard her sigh as she hugged me back.
"Im here okay,we all are." Amala said
"Thanks you guys." Nova said before she sniffled.
A/N: and that's that's the first chapter done and dusted. So basically nova's life was depressing,ngl I was surprised that I didn't cry while I wrote all of that
