YN'S POV
"Strawberry~"
Taehyung whined from behind while I rolled my eyes in annoyance and continued to do my little touch-up. After applying my lip gloss at last I slapped his hands away which were trying to snake around my waist, I threw a glare at him through the mirror which made him pout angrily. I controlled my laugh and tried my best to keep a straight cold face, without glancing at him anymore I walked out of the closet and entered the kid's room followed by one and only Kim Taehyung begging for my attention.
Well, it was his fault to made me mad at him, if he didn't tease me last night while I was on the call with Dad so he might not beg for my attention, tit for tat...
I smiled as I looked at Eun-woo well dressed sitting on the edge of the bed playing his video games, I kneeled in front of him gaining his attention, he smiled and put his device beside him. I hugged him and asked,
"Are we ready to go?"
"No~"
I heard a loud whine from the closet, I looked behind me and saw Yuri struggling to choose her bag, I chuckled and asked,
"What's wrong?"
"Mom, I like this pink bag but it does not match my dress"
She complained while whining, Taehyung walked over to her and took her in his embrace, he pecked her cheeks and spoke,
"How about we change your dress, Princess?"
She pouted cutely looking at him and replied,
"But you need to help me"
"No worries I'll be your designer"
He replied, with an earnest face. I rolled my eyes at their little drama and reminded them,
"Yeonjun would be here by any minute"
"So you two better hurry up"
I pointed at both of them. I rolled my eyes as they both said in unison,
"Okay Mom"
Eun-woo chuckled beside me, I pecked his face which made him laugh more. Eun-woo showed me his new Journal which he began to maintain recently while both daughter and father took their time to match an outfit to Yuri's favorite bag.
Finally, after almost fifteen minutes both daughter and father came out from the closet, I would say that he had some taste, as Yuri was looking gorgeous wearing baby pink sweatpants with a white tank top and a white plain linen shirt over it of course with her favorite bag and white converse. Her high ponytail swung in the air as she walked towards me, I pecked her face making her giggle cutely, I smiled cupping her face, and commented,
"My baby is looking gorgeous"
"Oh come on she is already gorgeous"
Her dad spoke in between making me glare at him, he smirked looked at me, and sat beside me on the bed. My phone dinged, I checked it was Yeonjun, he just texted me to tell me that he had arrived, I looked at the kids and told them,
"Yeonjun is here let's go"
They both excitedly get off the bed and head towards the door followed by me closely but before I could step out of the room Taehyung grabbed my wrist and turned me around, with a frown I looked at him instead of answering he crashed his lips on mine. My eyes widened, cause our kisses never end with just kisses, I put my hands on his chest and pushed him away breaking the kiss while he whined and gave me an aggravated look, I just rolled my eyes and got out of there.
With the kids I walked out of the mansion and saw Yeonjun standing against his black Porsche wearing a formal suit paired with large black shades, he was looking handsome... He smiled while removing his shades as his eyes met mine, I smiled walked closer to him, and hugged him, he wrapped his arms around my waist and spoke,
"How can someone grow more beautiful in an overnight?"
I chuckled pulling away and punching his chest playfully to which he held the place where I hit him and smirked playfully at me making me laugh so hard. His eyes traveled to the kids, he bent down to their level and asked Eun-woo first,
"Who is this man more handsome than me?"
Eun-woo literally reddened and answered,
"Myself Eun-woo"
Yeonjun turned towards Yuri and blinked multiple times before asking,
"Are you a real princess?"
"Myself Yuri"
She replied while smiling brightly. Yeonjun took her hand and kissed her knuckles making her shy while he ruffled Eun-woo's hair before standing up in front of me. I folded my arms and asked curiously,
"How come you are still single?"
He raised his brows playfully and answered,
"Maybe you can change that"
I narrowed my eyes looking at him and poked my inner cheek with my tongue, I smiled and answered jokingly,
"Maybe this is going to be our first date then"
"Okay now I'm introducing you to parents first"
I laughed as said that, and he joined while the kids looked at us confusingly. He opened the door of the backseat and settled down the kids comfortably, after that he opened the passenger door for me and spoke,
"My lady"
With a smile on my face, I shook my head in disbelief at his acting skills and was about to enter the car but stopped as I heard someone clearing throat behind us. Both Yeonjun and I turned around and saw not-so-happy or you can say jealous Taehyung standing with his hands in the pocket of his pants, he was looking hot... I internally scolded myself and remained that I was mad at him.
Yeonjun bowed and greeted him,
"Good morning, Mr.Kim"
"Morning Mr.Kang"
Taehyung replied with a cold tone, Yeonjun's playful side was gone now he was standing face to face with Taehyung, they both glared at each other almost ready to kill each other, and the surroundings suddenly became tense. I cleared my throat trying to break the sweat,
"We are getting late"
Taehyung nodded and spoke,
"Please take good care of my wife and kids, Mr.Kang"
My eyes widened for a split moment as his words shocked me to the core, I must be hearing things. Yeonjun scoffed and replied,
"Don't worry Mr.Kim, I won't leave them"
Ouch.
That was personal for sure.
Taehyung's eyes darkened as he was a second away from punching Yeonjun, I immediately stood between both of them putting my hand on either's chest, and spoke,
"Let's go"
I first looked at Yeounjun, he nodded and while glaring at Taehyung he got into the driver's seat. I turned to Taehyung and he looked back at me, I sighed and nodded at him telling him silently that we were leaving. I got into the passenger seat and secured the seatbelt around me I could feel Taehyung's eyes burning me and Yeonjun, and before I could look at him Yeonjun drove off at full speed making my back hit the seat.
I sighed as finally Yeonjun slowed down in the middle of the highway, I checked up on the kids, both of them were busy admiring the city while Yeonjun was still tensed. For sure both of the kids like him and he too loves them but what's the matter with Taehyung, I wonder why he acted all cold with him and more importantly why Taehyung acted all worked out with him. I finally decided to voice out my thoughts,
"You didn't have to do that"
He sighed still focusing on the road and spoke,
"I'm sorry if that made you uncomfortable"
"No, it didn't"
I immediately made myself clear, well it was just confusing for me. He stopped the car as the light turned red, I looked around we were in the city already, he looked over me concerningly and told me silently,
"I know he has a girlfriend"
My eyes widened I looked back at the kids to check if they heard anything but to my luck they didn't as they were busy admiring the puppy in the car next to us. I look back at Yeonjun giving me an anxious look, I clear my throat and speak,
"I... don't mind"
"But I do"
"He is hurting you"
I look up at him shocked by his words, he sighs and looks back at the road as the light turns green. I look back in front not speaking anything else, I stare into nothingness and his words rewind in my head, He's hurting you but... he's helping too, those voices shouted back. I looked outside from the window as the conflict started in my head, but before my mind got too messed up I told myself, he is just helping me, once I get pregnant I'll set him free...
Will you be happy then?
A voice asked but I gnored it and tried to distract myself from overthinking by observing the surroundings. Soon the car stopped in front of a villa, it was not so big but not small too, just perfect for a small family like dad has now, a perfect family... I smiled as I got out of the car followed by Yeonjun, he gave me a comforting smile and helped the kids to get out.
Four of us walked to the front door, Yeonjun opened it and announced,
"Yn is here"
He removed his shoes and his slippers he disappeared somewhere inside the house, it was way bigger than outside. I helped the kids to change their footwear, and as I wore mine Dad came into my sight, I smiled widely and wrapped my arms around his waist tightly he chuckled and hugged me back with the same intensity, he pecked my head and spoke,
"My baby"
I smiled snuggling deeper into his embrace never wanting to pull away but to my dismay, I had to as I felt someone tugging on my pants lightly, I broke the hug and saw the kids cluelessly looking up at me. I smiled and picked both Yuri and Eun-woo in my arms looked back at Dad and introduced them,
"Kids he's is my Dad, your grandfather"
Dad smiled brightly looking over at the kids, they both bowed to him Dad caressed both of their heads and I continued,
"Dad, this Eun-woo and this Yuri"
I said while nudging my head to the kids, Dad took Yuri from my embrace and spoke,
"Hello little ones"
They both smiled looking at him and spoke in unison,
"Hello Grandpa"
Dad chuckled making me smile too. Soon a woman in her late fifties came into our view, Dad followed my eyes and introduced me,
"Fiona, this is Yn, my baby"
He looked back at me and continued,
"That's Fiona, my love"
I smiled and bowed, she smiled lovingly and hugged me motherly instead. She pulled away and spoke,
"You can call me Finn."
"Nice to meet you, Finn."
I spoke. Dad introduced the kids to Finn. and gave us a little house tour, their villa was really cute and modern at the same time, it has three bedrooms, a living room attached with a big kitchen and the whole is surrounded by a beautiful garden with a swimming pool at the east side of the house. I got to know that Fiona was a florist so she maintained that beautiful garden all by herself, Dad and Yeonjun used to travel a lot so she kept herself busy at home by decorating the whole house every other month.
We all talked for hours while Yeonjun gave the kids company the whole time, I got to know that he is very good with kids and I can already see that. Dad told me about how he and Fiona met and eventually got married, about the times they went on trips together, and about childhood stories of Yeonjun at which he just rolled his eyes annoyingly.
Fiona stood up while looking over at the watch hanging above the huge television and spoke,
"I'll prepare the lunch"
Saying that she went into the kitchen, we can look at the whole kitchen from here. I looked over at Dad and spoke,
"I'll help her"
He smiled and replied,
"Do whatever you want to, baby"
After pecking his cheek I stood up and walked into the kitchen. Honestly, Fiona is the sweetest person I ever met, I felt a little jealous as Yeonjun has her as his mother, I wish my mother would be like her. I felt happy that Dad found her, they both are truly in love, anyone can tell by the way they look at each other, I'm grateful to her for loving Dad. I walked beside her and asked,
"May I help you?"
