Author's pov:
Rakshit was confused wheather he should go inside or not.Suddenly his phone rings and he picks up the call.
"Sir Mr.Shukla is here for meeting", Simmy says from the other side.
Rakshit looks in the direction Kritika went and says ," Tell him to wait ,I am coming there", and with that he leaves from there.
After the meeting:
Rakshit is tensed. He is thinking what he should do so that Kritika accepts his apology.
Thinking all this Rakshit enters in his cabin only to find Hardik there waiting for him.
Cabin:
"Tu", Rakshit says sitting on the couch.
("You")
"Agayi meri yaad" says Hardik with fake sadness in his voice as soon as Rakshit sits.
("So you remember me")
"Tu gaya nhi abhi tak, yaha kyu hai??" Asks Rakshit,
("You haven't gone until now, why are you here??")
"Main yaha isliye hu kyuki mere gadhe dost ko kisiko manana bhi nhi aata" says Hardik being angry on Rakshit,
("I am here because my dumb friend doesn't know how to apologize")
"Tujhe kese pata mene maafi nhi mang paya?" asks Rakshit,
("How do you know that I was not able to apologize?)
"Kyuki main vahi tha" says Hardik in a duhh tone,
("Because I was there")
"Tu vaha nhi tha" says Rakshit,
("You were not there")
"Jab tu bhaga tha tab main bhi tere piche bhaga tha kyuki tu ullu hai aur mujhe pata tha ki tu khud nhi sambhal payega", says Hardik,
("When you ran, I ran after you became you are just dumb and You can't handle the situation alone")
"Tu mera picha kar rha tha?" Rakshit asks a little annoyed now,
("You were following me?")
"Chod vo sab bhabhi abhi bhi tujhse gussa hai tujhe unhe manana hoga" says Hardik in proud tone,
("Leave all that my sister in law is still angry, you have to apologize her")
"Bhabhi?? Abhi shadi hui bhi nhi hai" says Rakshit 😑 being done with him,
("Sister in law?? We are not even married right now")
"Shaadi bhi ho jayegi itni jaldi bhi kya hai", says Hardik and then starts laughing as he just got a hit by a pillow from Rakshit,
("Marriage will happen, why are you so eager")
"Chal aab ye sab chod, kuch soch koi aisi chiz hai jo usse pasand hai", says Hardik.
("Now leave all this, and think about something she likes")
"Nhi yaar mujhe nhi pat--a,,,
Arre vo bookstore mein gyi thi na , matlab usse books pasand hongi ,
Ek kaam kr jo bhi books bestseller reh chuki hai aur tujhe jinke baare mein pata hai ki achi hai unki list mujhe bhej de", Says Rakshit as although he does not like Kritika, He still feel guity for behaving like a brat.
("No I don't kno..w, She went in the bookstore that time so she must likes books, do 1 thing send me list me all the bestseller books you know about and send me the list")
"Ohhooo boooksss, acha thik hai bhejta hu", say Hardik while trying to tease Rakshit.
("Ohhh books, wait I will send")
"Chal aab jaa yaha se mujhe kaam hai", Rakshit says while pushing Hardik outside.
("Ok now go from here I have work to do")
"Thik hai main ja rha hu call karke bataio kya hua, aur haan kal ka schedule free rakhio Rashmi arhi hai vapis" says Hardik leaving.
("Yeah fine I am going to update me on the phone, and yes free your schedule tomorrow Rashmi is coming back")
"Yeah ok I will update you and see you tomorrow then" says Rakshit.
Hardik leaves
Rakshit pov:
"Yeah that's what I am gonna do, I am gonna gift her some books then she will surely forgive me."
"Hey bhagwan main apne aap se baat kar raha hu main pakka pagal ho gya hu", Rakshit said shaking his head.
("Oh my god I am talking to myself I have surely gone mad")
Someone knocks on his cabin door.
"Come in" Rakshit says, Simmy enters
"Sir I have the file...." Simmy says but ends up getting interrupted by Rakshit "Leave all that get all the information about the bookstore on xyz road" says Rakshit.
Simmy is really confused these days cause Rakshit has never interrupted his meetings or meeting discussions not even when he was with his ex.
But she keeps her thoughts to herself and says,
"Ok sir", and then she leaves.
After sometime when Simmy has given Rakshit all the information about the bookstore Rakshit himself calls the owner.
On Call:
"Hello", the owner says.
"Hi I am sending a list of books which I wanted to buy from you bookstore.
Please deliver it at my address till evening", Rakshit says as he receives a list of bestseller books given by Hardik.
"Ok sir", and the call ends.
Rakshit receives another list from Hardik which says 'These are my personal favourite and Every book lover loves these books".
Rakshit is not sure if Kritika will forgive him so he decides to do something for her.
He left his office and went somewhere giving his car life.
Next Morning:
"Ting-Tong"
Books reach Kritika's house.
Kritika's mother opens the door.
And is shocked to see a carton full of books. "Ma'am this is for Miss Kritika" says the delivery boy,
"Kritika-Kritika come downstairs", Kritika's mother shouts as she knows Kritika loves books but she usually buys 5 books max to max at a time and this is too much, "What happened maa??", Kritika asks as she comes downstairs,
"Did you buy all this books??" Asks Kritika's mother,
"No maa I just went to the bookstore before coming home today I bought only 1 book and brought it with me only" says Kritika,
"Then whose books are these, are you sure have the right address mister", asks Kritika's mother,
"Yeah Ma'am you just have to take it it's all paid for" says the delivery boy,
"Ohh just keep it here" says Kritika's mother,
"Thankyou" says Kritika while passing a smile and being confused.
She studies the things the delivery boy just kept.
There were so many books.
She was busy looking at the books when her eyes fall on a beautiful thing.
"What's this", Her mother asked looking at that thing.
"It's book bouquets", Kritika answers.
She further observes a note in that
bouquet which says,
"I know I have messed up but I am really sorry for what I did. I misunderstood you and yelled at you. I hope I was able to bring back the smile on your face which which was gone When I shouted at you".
Suddenly her phone in her hand starts ringing and when she checks up, she found an unknown no.
She picks up the phone. "Helllo?" Says Kritika,
"Hello Kritika" says the man on the phone,
"Who's speaking" asks Kritika,
"Rakshit",
"Why have you called?" Kritika asks being annoyed ,
"To apologize" Says Rakshit,
"Oh so a big ego like you know how to apologize?" Says Kritika a little loudly as she remembers yesterday's incident while her mother who was standing in a little distance now heard her,
"Who are you talking to Kritika?" Asks Kritika's mother,
"It's um.... Rakshit" says Kritika,
"It's Rakshit, give me the phone let me talk to him" says Kritika's mother being happy hearing his name, so Kritika passes the phone to her mother,
"Hello beta kese ho?" Asks Kritika's mother on the phone, "Namaste aunty🙏 main thik hu aap batayiye" says Rakshit,
("Hello son how are you?")
("Hello ma'am, I am fine and what about you?")
"Main bhi thik hu beta, aur phone kese
kiya?" Asks Kritika's mother,
("I am also fine son, and why have you called?")
"Vo aunty.. Main Kritika ke sath bhar Jane ke liye puch raha tha", Rakshit said as he didn't want to tell Kritika's mother that he yelled at her so he lied,
("Actually ma'am I wanted to take Kritika out today")
"Aree beta ye toh bahut achi baat hai, kab ja rhe ho fir?" Asks Kritika's mother,
("Woow!!! That's Great!! When are you going?")
"Aaj raat aunty" Says Rakshit,
("Today at night")
"Acha ye toh bhot achi baat hai, ye lo Kri se baat karo" says Kritika's mother, while all this was going on, Kritika was standing there confused thinking what's going on.
("That's great, Ok now you talk to Kritika")
"What did you tell her?" Asks Kritika,
"Umm I couldn't think of anything else so I told aunty that we are going out today" says Rakshit,
"What??!!" Kritika practically shouts on the phone then she gets a glare from her mother and quickly goes to her room,
"Yeah don't shout and be ready by 7, I will pick you up" says Rakshit,
"No I don't wanna go out with you" says Kritika,
"Mujhe bhi apke sath Jane ka koi shauk nhi hai" says Rakshit,
("Even I am also not dying to go out with You")
"Then don't" says Kritika,
"See here's the thing, my mother wants me to meet you so let's just do this and then we can tell our parents no" says Rakshit being proud of his plan,
"Ok fine" says Kritika after thinking a lot she thinks that this is the right plan , she will meet him and then after coming back she will tell her parents that she didn't like him.
Group video call: Kritika, Trisha and Pakhi
"Guys Tell me what should I wear now"
Says Kritika because she just told them everything that happened on call with Rakshit and on the Interview.
She was talking to Trisha and Pakhi Ofcourse....
"Kri I think you should wear that red dress",
"No Kri you should wear that top which we brought last time", Pakhi said intruppting Trisha.
"Guys I am not going anywhere", Kritika says.
