Me and Brooklyn looked at each other in shock and we both stood up and hugged. We went to the stage and Nicki gave the award to Brooklyn. I let Brooklyn go first.
"Wow,thank you guys so so much for supporting me and Uzi when we released holy smokes. You know when I was making the beats and I felt like someone would be good in this song and that someone would be no one else but Lil Uzi Vert, Uzi..thank you so much for collaborating with me and I really appreciate it!" She said before smiling as the crowd cheered.
"Brook,thank you for letting me collab with you. It's been really fun hanging out with you and getting to know you while making holy smokes. And of course thanks to y'all for supporting me and her. I love you guys so much." I also said before walking off the stage with Brooklyn.
A few hours later
Brooklyn and Uzi are about to perform Holy smokes.

"Thank you so much!"she says while smiling as the crowd cheered loudly and clapped.

The awards were over and we were leaving,on our way to our limos and I heard a voice calling me .

I walked away trying not to cry..until I got into my apartment. I need to talk to someone... Brooklyn...I need her.
I approached her and she noticed my facial expression and her expression on her face soften.
"What's wrong Lani?"
I just burst out in tears and and Brook just hugged me
"It's okay,take your time."
I stopped sobbing and she let go of me and looked at me.
"I saw my ex Brook .." I say after taking a deep breath.
She was shocked and kinda pissed.
"What did she say?did she threaten you ?"
"Nah,she wanted me to take her back. And all the memories we had just came back and especially the day we broke up."
Flashback
In Kehlani's apartment in LA
Kehlani was sitting on the sofa scrolling through Instagram when suddenly TMZ posted a picture with her current girlfriend 070 shake kissing another girl..and another one showing her leaving with the girl, she couldn't believe it as Shake got inside.
"Hey babe." She said before giving kehlani a kiss on the cheek,she moved away and shake looked confused.
"What's wrong?" Shake asked in confusion.
"What the fuck is this ?" Kehlani showed shake the picture and her face changed into a look of guilt.
"Babe,it's not what it looks like." Shake pleaded and that's when kehlani knew that she really cheated.
"Get the fuck out of my house." Kehlani said looking pissed and tears were on the brink of falling . Shake resisted and Kehlani shouted at her to get out... eventually she did
"Oh and before you leave,take this shit with you,it's clear that the bitch you were with deserve it more than me."Kehlani said while throwing her promise ring at shake. She closed the door and sink down onto the floor before bawling her eyes out.
End of Flashback...
Brook kept on hugging me while I was ranting about Shake and how she broke my heart.
"Y'know...you deserve better,just take a break from dating. You can come back whenever you feel like it. You need to revaluate your life, focus on yourself.. and your career for now. And I'll be happy to help."Brooklyn said.
What would I do without her bruh..
"Okay..can you sleep over at mine's tonight,I really don't wanna be alone." I say while scratching my neck.
"Sure." Brooklyn said while giving me a kind smile.
This is gonna be an interesting night.
