I think that I'm a bad person.
I have bad thoughts.
I say bad things.
I dream of bad stuff.
I commit many sins.
I talk to bad people.
I buy bad shit.
I indulge in bad habits.
I do more by the minute.
But I want to be better.
I want to be good.
I want to take care.
I want it, and I should.
I want to be the person,
She wants me to be.
I want to be that man,
She so desperately needs.
I need to seek guidance.
I'm pleading to brick walls.
I'm shouting from the rooftops.
On deaf ears my words will fall.
But I must not give up.
I must never falter.
Because the man I want to be,
Needs to be waiting at that altar.
