Umji sighed while slipping her phone into her tote bag. Her AirPods were at full volume so she couldn't hear the whispers or loud talking from the people around her.
As she walked to her first class, she felt the stares of many people. She entered the classroom and went straight to her spot.
She was surprised to see Muzuki in the spot next to hers. Raising a brow but not questioning it, she takes a seat quietly.
She takes out her notes and pencil case, writing her name and todays date. Before she could write anything else, someone tapped her shoulder.
She looked to her right and saw Muzuki's brown eyes staring into hers. She plucks out an AirPod and gives her a questioning gaze. "Do you have a pencil I could borrow for this class?"
Umji stared at her, trying to find pity in her eyes. But she couldn't read her at all. It was like looking at a brick wall.
Nodding, she grabbed a light blue mechanical pencil and handed it to her, making Muzuki smile graciously and accepted it. "Thank you."
Giving a small, forced smile, Umji was about to put her AirPod back in until she was interrupted. "Hey, I heard about the whole post thing.. I'm really sorry about that."
Boom. The pity.
She knew it would somehow come up. She knew nobody could look her in the eye without any form of pity. She just didn't expect someone to be this straight forward with it.
Umji glanced at the girl besides her, but what shocked her was there was no form of pity. Almost like a fake pity, making fun of her and laughing in her face. A fake form of sympathy.
Whatever was shown in her eyes, she doesn't care about the situation, she doesn't even feel sorry. No pity at all.
Muzuki's "awkward" smile falls, a frown placing onto her lips. "Did I do something? Are you okay?" Snapping out of her trance, Umji gave a tight-lipped smile, not making eye contact. "Yeah I'm fine."
The purple haired girls frown was still on her lips. "Well if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here." Umji almost rolled her eyes at this.
Yeah, sure you are. The bell rang, indicating that class was going to start.
The two girls didn't talk after that. They did their notes and then after class was finished, Muzuki handed back her pencil and immediately left.
Umji packed up all her things and took out her phone. Sighing, she finally decided to check her social media.
When she went on Instagram, she saw a lot of her comments was filled up about the situation. She knew they saw and probably thought she was disgusting.
Some did, but surprisingly a decent amount didn't. Some empathized that a lot of teenage girls fall for the same situation and the same thing happens, and nobody should be slutshamed about it.
Umji deeply believed that was true.
She shouldn't be getting slutshamed about something that was supposed to be private. It wasn't any of their business anyway.
She decided to post on her story speaking up about all of this.

Umji put her phone into her pocket, not before replaying her music. A small smile crept up onto her lips. This was stage one of her healing. The small things that made her feel better and forget about the past. The healing era started.
She went into her kitchen and made some ramen for herself and then went into the living room and put on her favorite movie.
Sitting down and eating while watching her show, a few thoughts started creeping up into her mind.
What if she never sent the picture? What if she never even dated Daebom? She felt as if her life would be 10x better, and she wouldn't be so held up on the past.
She was extremely disappointed in herself, mad, sad, and disgusted. The way she was easily manipulated and tricked, and even forgave him for all the ugly and bad deeds he has done and or showed her.
Even with her getting dm's from multiple other women saying they've hooked up qith Daebom, she still stayed. Even with him constantly degrading her and comparing her to other women, she still stayed with him.
When she was in the relationship, the fake affection and constant love bombing was the only things she thought about.
Having a boyfriend is fun. Until they use you for your body and turn everyone against you.
That's why she was so cautious with even seeing Haechan in anyway of attraction or interest. To get used to his sincere affection and words, the actual love bombing that was true and not just to make fun of her and use her.
And even now she still is trying to go get used to it. But she'll make sure that her past relationship won't ruin this beautiful one she has currently.
