Kenji has a massive headache but breakfast is making it better but he's half asleep just causally eating
Kenji's current look
(Just imagine a simple red and black kimono he decided to fully embrace the culture)
Renzo: Good morning, Rin, Kenji, damn you too have a serious case of bed head and man your hair is crazy long Kenji, did you both find your ways back to your rooms ok
Kenji: I can't really remember and can you keep it down please my head is killing me argh (I very recently had my first ever proper hangover and it wasn't fun let me tell you)
Rin: yeah I don't remember either
Renzo: yeah I bet you don't good thing I didn't drink my juice
Rin: you ok with talking to me in public like this
Renzo: Huh of course HaHa
Suddenly keenzo runs up and kicks Renzo in the face: Reeeenzo!
Renzo: dammit keen what the hell was that
Keenzo: huh what do you mean that was a flying kick man you're dense
Renzo: you're calling me dense you jerk
Juzo: Renzo looks like you're doing alright
Kenjj: didn't I just tell you too keep it down some of us have a headache
Renzo: yeah sorry dude, anyway juzo these guys right here are my buds Rin and Kenji okumara
Juzo: oh nice to finally meet ya I'm Juzo, I'm Renzo's big brother
Rin: Hey
Kenji: Sup
Juzo: huh "he notices the tails" Hey koneko wanna come and eat with us
Konekomaru: oh thanks but I already finished
Juzo: oh, what's his deal
Kenji shrugs and keeps eating: (damn this is good stuff)
Kenji gets up and decides to go and find a nice place to meditate
Much like usual he finds a nice place with a good view
He just sits down and closes his eyes and tries to focus
Kenji: (Renzo is right people take things like this too seriously so I need to do the same instead of focus on bringing it out a I need to just let the power flow out of me)
After a while of doing this he feels a flicker and looks to his hands they are covered in crimson flames
Kenji: heh I did it
He jumps up and tries to control it but it just produces normal flames
Kenji: dammit I failed again there's something about it thay I haven't figured out yet I let the power flow through me
He lets the power flow through him and raises his palm and shoots out a small blast of red flames
Kenji: I did it again ugh stupid habits I'm used to forcing the flames out but it seems I can't do that here dammit if it requires this much focus to do it on command it's not battle ready argh!
Frustrated he sits down and again and lies on his back
Kenji: I do know what I need to do I need to learn to be able to let the power flow through me without thinking about it so that's what I'll do and to do that it requires dedication ugh I hate it when people say just try harder why keep trying something if what I'm doing clearly isn't working that's why I fight with my own style so that way no-one can tell me that what I'm doing is wrong
Kenji then sees Izumo comforting shiemi in her own way
Kenji chuckles: yeah I know what works it's my power after all
Kenji is the surrounded in a warm red glow
He stops
Kenjj: I think that's enough for today
Kenji notices rin talking to Konekomaru
Kenji: that's the way to do it rin
Even later
Kenji has switched to weapon training
And he is swinging his sword
Kenji: I've got to learn how to freely switch between weapons in quick succession I can do it in devil union but I need to be able to do it without it
He removes his katana and summons the twin reapers
And starts practising with them
To make his skill with them more fluid and less raw power
Kenji: these weapons are amazing they are so dangerous yet so beautiful like all of my weapons
He lets one loose and everything starts shaking
Kenji: alright what's going on
Draco: over there!
Kenji: it's the field office!
Kenji immediately runs right off in that direction
He arrives there to see Bon yelling at his dad
Kenji: (ugh what's with these people we are supposed to fight the enemy not each other)
Bon: you better start talking dad is it true what mamushi said that you betrayed us
Bon's dad: of course not
Bon: alright then why don't you tell everyone right here right now what you've been up too
Bon's dad: you really wanna know huh, sorry son it's a secret can't tell anyone want it is ever not even my own son
Bon: how can you say that after what just happened here
Bon's dad: yeah well I have to go after mamushi listen be a good boy and do what your mum and teacher tell you oh and stay out of trouble
Bon: Drop the act already!
Kenji: (this is feeling very familiar)
Bon: your always around when it's convenient for you but if you bail right now without explaining yourself then as far as I'm concerned, You're not my dad anymore!
Kenji: (and that's why!)
Kenji grits his teeth and let's a few tears fall
Bon's dad: I really should get going try and forgive me
He goes to leave but Kenji and Rin stop him
Bon: Kenji! And Rin!
Rin: why you walking away your supposed to be his dad ain't ya
Bon's dad: Rin I
Kenji: are you seriously going to leave it like this Are ya! and as for you Suguro!
Both: QUIT BEING AN ASS!
They both strike Bon with a flame boosted punch and send him flying
Monk: Bon!
Shura: Rin, Kenji!
Rin: I don't know what went down between you guys but I know your both going to regret this later on tell your dad your sorry while you still can
Bon: what do you know! This is none of your business
Kenji: He's your dad you can't push him away like this!
Bon: oh yeah like you two can talk
Bon's dad: now now boys let's everybody cool down, shake hands and make up
Bon: what are you still doing here! You know where the door is, Leave and don't come back
A this moment rin snaps and so does Kenji but he stops his flames
Rin: I used to think you where the coolest
Kenji: I used to respect your skills and intelligence
Rin: but your not cool at all
Kenji: but it's going because now I know
Both: YOU'RE AN ASSHOLE!
Shura: that's enough rin
Rin: you don't get it
Rin charges Bon and Bon puts a shield up
Rin: you've got now idea it ain't like I want to be Satans kid my situation ain't the same as yours it ain't is it tell your dad your sorry it'll be too late when he's dead don't make the same mistake I did tell him your sorry now
Kenji walks over to rin and chops him on the neck knocking him out
Kenji: I don't agree with the way he did it but you should apologise believe me you'll regret it if you don't so see ya
He puts rin on his back and walks off, Kuro jumps on rins shoulder
He hears them talking about his brother but he just walks our and leaves shura to deal with the mess

I've been looking forward to this scene I wanted to display that while Kenji teased Bon constantly he respected him but not anymore not after the way he treated his father
