Author's POV...
Uyir woke up in her as usual time.... Early morning and sun didn't even raised the first thing she searched was her phone... She unlocked and checked is there any reply from him... But there was nothing from him iy was left with blue tick....there was her her father's "Good morning Thango" text... It's just few minutes before.. She smiled and wished him back...
She took a deep breath and got down from the bed and arranged it before entering into the bathroom..... After her morning routine she took hot bath and wore a simple kurthi and Palazzo pants....as her hair was still wet she let it half down and used a small clutch...
She went down... There was complete silence no one was up... She again saw the time it's 6 ... She first prayed in pooja room...that house did had many aesthetic plants but not flower plants... She reminds herself she should buy some new plants at least those flowers will be usefull for pooja....
There was some flowers in Fridge she used them to decorate the idols... And frames....
She then entered the kichen started preparing breakfast for sweet she planned to make pal kozhukattai..then Pongal ,sambar,Chatni,vadai along with that she prepared batter for Ravadosa...
Due to new place she couldn't sleep so yesterday night itself she came to kitchen and noted which items are kept where so its easy now for her to spot them...
While she half done the maid arrived she is middle aged lady her she introduced herself as Saratha..
Saratha: Ena ma nenga intha vela lam pakureinga... Naa vanthurupein la...vidunga naa pandrein...
(What ma... You are doing all this work I would have done this right... Leave it I will take care..)
Uyir : Nane pandrein nenga apdi nilunga... Help na kekurein..
( I will do... You stay there... If I need any help I will ask you)
She said with a smile....after sometime with hesitation Saratha spoke...
Saratha: Ena ma nenga...Motha nal ipadi Chudidhar pota meena ma ku kovam varum...
( what is this ma... It's your first day if Meena maa know then she would get angry)
Uyir narrowed her eyes at her....
Saratha: Acho ungala bayamburutha solala ma.... Meena ma konjam apdi tha ethachu kora solla karanam thedite irupanga.... Unga motha nale ethachu solida kudathunu tha ma sona.... Thapa nenaikatheinga ma...
( Achoo... I didn't said to scare you ma... It's that meena ma is like that she always tries to find fault... It's your first day in this house I don't want you to get scolded by her..... Don't mistake me)..
Uyir smiled at her then continued frying the vada..
Uyir: Uyir ne kupdalam...
( You can call me Uyir)
Saratha : Huh...
Uyir: That's my name....
Saratha to smiled at her.. She was relived that Uyir was not like the other two ladies in that house...
After sometime Uyir asked...
Uyir: Avaruku ena pidikum nu solunga saratha ma...
( Can you say me what he likes Saratha ma)
Saratha: Yaruku papa...
( who papa)
Uyir blushed so she understood who that avar(he) is .
Saratha: ohhhh Jayadev thambi ka....
Uyir: hmmmm
Saratha : Apdi la ethum thanila ila ma... Elame sapduvar naa inga vela seiya sentha nal la irunthu elarum kora sonalum oru nalum sapatula uppu unmaiyave kamiya irunthalum nalaruku Saratha ma nu solum... Matha 3 perukum thani thaiya samaikanum... Thambi athula ethachu ona saptukum...
Elam sapda 9 agum ana thambi neraiya nal kalaila 7 ku lam kelambidum athanala verum bread coffee tha neraiya nal breakfast... Athu seinga ithu seinga nu sonathe ila ma ithuvaraikum...
Thaniya oru veedum iruku romba late ana angaiye thangiduvar anga hotel sapadu tha ma.... Neraiya vela iruntha office laiye vum thangiduvar vetuku vara matar... Angaiye room iruku...
(There nothing specifically he likes... From the day I working here all three would say this is not right that is less.. Kind of complaint... But Thambi even if salt is actually less.. He ate then say me it's good....
All three wants different items to eat he would eat anyone of it that's it... All will eat at 9 am... Most of the time Jayadev have to leave at 7 so only bread and Coffee for him... And there is another house nearby to his office if it get late he stays there... If he stays there then hotel food only...
If work was heavy he stays in office itself there is a room separately for him...)
Uyir listen to everything.... Cooking was almost over Uyir retired to her room and freshened and got ready in a saree she braid her long hair un French braid...
Even when she came back no one was at sight except Saratha ma who is making another dish along with what Uyir cooked....
Seeing Uyir Saratha smiled.... Uyir reciprocated it then she started packing food items in box...
Saratha: Ena ma pandra... Yaruku pack pandra
( what are you doing ma...for whom you are packing..)
Uyir: my husband...
Saratha: huh...
Uyir Looked at her and said..
Uyir : I want to eat with my husband...
She said and about to move out with carrier... Saratha stopped her..
Saratha ; Uyir ma...
She stopped and looked back.... Saratha came near her and pinned a rose in her braid...
Then broke her knuckles...
Saratha : yar Kannu pada kudathu.... Ipo poo papa...
( No evil eyes..... Now go)..
Uyir smiled and moved towards the car... The driver was there but she preferred to drive herself.... Using Gps
she reached his office.....
She parked the car in lot and entered inside before she go further the receptionist stopped her....
Receptionist: Madam..you can't enter without permission....may I know why are you here...
Uyir: I want to meet Mr. Jayadev... Your CEO...
Receptionist: Do you have any appointment madam...
Uyir: No..
Receptionist: Then sorry madam I can't allow you inside....
Uyir went near her...
Uyir: I am Mrs. Uyir Jayadev..... I don't need appointment to meet my husband...
Before the receptionist answer Uyir moved towards the lift... That's when the Receptionist remembered that her boss was married and her friend showed her the marriage photo that was shared in office group... She checked her photo to clarify it's the same and her eyes widened..... But before all this Uyir Already reached his cabin...
Its wasn't locked... It works on remote control seems like he left that open... She entered inside only to see Jayadev sleeping over the table ... Files were shattered here and there and his laptop was still open....
She signed and placed the bag on the nearby teapoy and moved towards him to wake him up but seeing his tired face she didn't have heart to disturb him...
Her eyes landed on his phone she took it and the lock screen made her blush.. It's her the one he took in bakery when she was immersed in watching the Squirrel.. She placed the phone back and smiled looking at Jayadev....
She tucked her saree in her waist and arranged the shattered files in order and arranged the table ... She locked the door already doesn't want to be disturbed...
After all the works she came and sit in front of him on a chair and looked at her sleeping husband supporting her chin in her palm...
After sometime he slowly opened his eyes and first thing he saw was his wife who is admiring him.... He thought that was dream and held his head and muttered...
Jayadev: That's too much Da Jai... Just because you slept thinking about her doesn't mean you think about her being here as the first thing in morning... Okay
He was talking to himself.. He heard her chuckle.... His eyes widened he shook his head here and there...
Uyir: So you Thought about me.......
Jayadev was still confused.... Is she really here or it's just his imagination which is pretty much normal after meeting her... She understood his thought and stood up from the chair and moved towards him... His eyes followed her she came and dragged his chair back and sat on his lap..... His eyes widened even more and realization hits him...
Uyir: You didn't answer??...
She asked him raising her eyebrows her hands encircled on his neck...
Jayadev: so it's not dream.....you are actually here...wait....What are you doing here?....Any problem at home?.... Did you ate anything? .... You came alone???...
Before he continue his questions she placed her finger on his lips...
Uyir: shhhhhh........ I want to have breakfast with you..... So here I am...
And Good morning.....
She said with a smile... He let out a relive sign.. Then smiled at her...
Jayadev: Happy morning... And you don't have to do this... Don't strain yourself for her...
He said placing his palm over her cheeks... She leaned to his touch.... Both of their eyes immersed in each others......
Uyir: It's coffee......
Jayadev: huh....
Uyir : your eyes... It's coffee shade not black....
Jayadev: Like yours... The dark brown ones which can be found only when seen closer from far it's Black...
Uyir:.... Hmhmm... One shade light than mine...
Jayadev: ohh... No one said that to me....may be it's not that much important to notice...
He said his thumb moved towards her eyes...she closed her eyelids... His thumb lightly traced her closed eyelids.... The most smooth part of everyone..he can feel her eyes ball movement under his touch... He withdraw his hands ... She opened her eyes.....
His hands trail down and fell on her bare shoulder... As it was was sleeveless blouse... He runs the back of his hand from her shoulder to her fingers.... She twisted and held his wrist before it again move up......
He looked at her... She signed...
Uyir: Fresh up first... Let's have breakfast....
He took deep breath and placed his head on her shoulder after some seconds he looked up and nodded at her.... She smiled and stood up from his lap...
He stood up from the chair and moved towards the room to fresh up...
