We cut to Kenji okumara
An immediate thing anyone would notice about him is that he's packing
But the more noticeable thing is that he not only has a tail but a little dragon is currently curled around his neck
The thing yip
Kenji: Be quiet Draco
The thing looks sad
Kenji sighs: here ya go
He tosses him a little snack and the dragon scarfs it down
This little Guy is Draco
Despite appearances he's not an actual dragon well not entirely he's a demon he just looks like a dragon
Knight finishes up packing then he walks through a door to a secret room that has an anvil and bucket of water
Kenji: alright time to finish this up
Kenji grabs a medium length tanto that seems to be almost complete nuts in on the anvil
Draco glows and a forging hammer appears which Kenji catches
Then Draco heats up the metal and Kenji hammers it to get it nice and straight and then folds it
Kenji being the half demon is he is incredibly strong and doesn't really feel much pain but any injury that does get inflicted it heals soon after
Kenji finishes up and places it in a big parcel looking box
And walks out of his room with and sees a beat up rin and a smiling yukio
Kenji: Hey Guys what's up
Dad: what's up is Rin got into a fight again and his employer fired him
Kenji: did you win?
Rin actually smiles: Yeah I did!
Dad: don't encourage this!
One of the church members I don't know what they are called so you guys can correct me
Priest: and he's the other one he may not be as smart as Yukio but he gets good enough grades, he excels in sports, he holds down a part time job by forging things for people who want them to finish it off he starting at true cross academy
Rin: I SAID SHUT UP!
At this moment a machine breaks
Kenji: He's right guys Rin will find what he's supposed to do eventually there's no need to pressure him I had the luxury of being taught these skills early on Rin did not so don't talk about him like that
He glares at them with piercing red eyes
The apologise to rin
Dad: wow what in gods name was that it's about time we had this hold piece of junk fixed
Priest: father fujimoto someone to see you
Dad: fine clean up this mess before the service starts, Yukio I want you to tend to Rin's wounds and Kenji don't forget to send that parcel off your clients not going to be happy if it's late
Yukio: sure
Kenji: right!
Kenjj puts his parcel into the post and he leaves
Kenji then walks bakc in and sees Rin in a suit
Kenji: Hey bro what's up
Rin: oh I've got an interview for a part time job nit everyone can make their own money it sucks but what can you do, so you're moving out too right
Kenji: heh yeah as of next week although even though it's a great school an everything leaving home is a little bit scary
Rin: so what do you wanna do
Kenji: well..let's just say you'll find out soon
Rin: haven't figured either huh
Kenji: Hahaha yeah you could say that anyway don't you need to ge to an interview
Rin: OH CRAP RIGHT bye see ya!
Rin bolts off
Kenji joins his father as rin walks off
Kenji: so how long before it happens
Dad: no idea but I know for a fact it's going to be sooner rather than later but I know you and Yukio will be there for him
Kenji: ugh I've got some explaining to do once he can see demons
Dad laughs: oh yeah! Forgot about that not a lot of people have tails hub hahahaha
Kenji: shut it you old fart
Dad: don't start talking like Rin!
It's Kenji's turn to laugh
Later Kenji hears that Rin got the job and they a having tsukiyaki
Kenjj spends the rest of his day packing up and then starts swinging around one of his weapons a very cool looking katana
Kenji swings it around with exceptional skill and later he's eating tsukiyaki
Btu rin hadn't turned up for dinner
Kenji: ugh I'm going to find him I'm worried
Yukio: yeah me too
Priest: I'm going with you as well
They all get up to look for rin
Kenji: there's only one place he could be right
Yukio: oh yeah
Kenji and yukio find in on the swing set in the park
Kenji: we thought we'd find you here
Yukio: listen the tsukiyaki will be all gone let's get going
Rin: I wouldn't be able to face anyone there if I got home
Kenji: what are you talking about
Rin: I got fired, she said she couldn't have a violent thug like me working in her store
Yukio: what happened rin
Rin: I don't even know myself!
Yukio: oh come on don't give me that crap everyone was so happy that you finally found a job rin so how could you drop the ball like tnat so it makes sense to everyone
Rin: even if I do explains there's thing you don't understand
Kenji: Hey! You two calm down!
Rin: right sorry
Yukio: anyway why don't we go home now I know dads waiting
Kenji: yeah
Rin to Kenji: I need to talk to you about something
Kenji stops: (I jinxed it didn't I)
The all walk to the church
Dad: oh you're finally home
Man: are you Rin okumara I'm her Yui's father I don't know how to thank you for what you did for her
Rin: is she ok
Man: thanks to you she only suffered a light scrape
Rin: well that's good
Kenji softly punches rins arm with a smile
Man: she's always been a scatterbrained child falling down stairs she's me r without fresh wounds
Rin: your wrong it's not that the kids scatterbrained she's being picked on he's like pulling her hair and snatching things away from her you know
Dad: you saw this!
Kenji: (yup I knew it)
Man: can you describe him
Rin: I don't know it was someone like I'd never seen before he was short with a face kind of like a monkey
Man: unbelievable
Dad: where are you going
Man: to the school I need to contact the pta and try to fair it out whoever it is that's been bullying my daughter
Yui: you don't understand I'm not being bullied by humans from my schools it's the evil fairies
Rin: fairies
Yui: they come into my bedroom late at night and make all sorts of aweful things happen and now they are even doing it outside
Man: Yuis a child with a vivid imagination I'm afraid I've heard these fairy tails from her before lately it's beginning to seem as though she can't distinguish her bizarre daydreams from real life
Rin: but they are not daydreams why don't you just believe her whose she supposed to rely on if her own parents don't even get what shes saying can't you just
Dad punches rin in the head
The dad then gives a charm to Yui and gives her dad some worthwhile advice
They go home
Rin: what the hell do you think that was enoguh to convince him
Dad: it's about 10 years to early for you too start lecturing others and by the way for the foreseeable future your grounded
Rin: ugh why
Turns out they got a bill for all the damage rin caused
Later Kenji is outside on the roof enjoying the night air it's really his only alone time
Rin calls to him
Kenji: so you can see me fully now can't you
Rin: yeah what's up with you why do you have a tail and why is there a dragon around your neck
Kenji: I can't explain fully since that's dad's job but what I can tell you is
I see them too the dark monsters that have being tormenting that girl
Rin: seriously but why didn't you say anything
Kenji: again I've kind of been sworn to secrecy by dad so you just need to wait until he gives me permission to tell you
Rin: since when did you care what he said
Kenji: since it started endangering your life now I think we both need some rest I promise I tell you everything soon
Rin calms down and smiles: ok I'll see you soon I'm going to hold you too it
Kenji is getting ready head out of to turn cross
When he feels himself gain goosebumps and fire briefly appears on him
But he calms it down
Kenji: alright then so it's finally happened
