I'm led turned on my side away from Billie, she's sleeping peacefully next to me. Having no idea I'm crying softly to myself, I've been doing this for a couple of minutes letting out shaky breaths every now and then but making sure I'm not being loud to wake her
"Baby?" I hear Billie call out, I quickly wipe my tears away and start to get my breathing normal
"Yeah my love? What's wrong?"
I ask her still with a uneasy voice but I get no response, instead I get her wrapping her arms around me.
Oh how I want to stay like this forever
"I know you're crying baby, it's ok I'm here"
I turn to face Billie seeing her with her eyes open and a small smile plastered on her lips
"I love you" she says bringing me closer to her
"I love you" I say with tears spilling out my eyes again
How I wish she had found someone better than me, someone not so broken, someone more put together
Someone that's not like me
