Soulmate markings declare who you are supposed to stay with for the rest of your life. They show up when you turn of age at 16. The soulmate marking is a permanent tattoo that appears anywhere on your body. For me I got 3 markings on my body, I got one on my ankle which had a pistol, my left wrist which had an airplane, and then on my upper chest which had a weird cross. Most people are delighted to get a soulmate marking, let alone three of them, me not so much. I don't like the idea of being told who I must be with for the rest of my life. At the age of 16 I was told by my mother that I was lucky that I had 3 soulmates, and they will love and care for me for my whole life once I meet them. But sadly, later that year my mother passed away from a tragic car accident, after that I had to move away from my hometown in California to Hope County in Montana with my grandparents. After moving I quickly found a job helping an elderly couple take care of their farmland that paid well so as soon as I turned 18, I was able to move from my grandparents' house to live in a peaceful cottage in the mountains away from everyone.
