olive finally put her phone down after what felt like ages of typing away at her screen.
she didn't realize it, but she had a small smile on her face. most likely because of the guy she just finished talking to. she didn't bring up the fact that they went to high school together. a small part of her hoped that he'd suddenly remember her but the more rational side of her knew that he was a lost cause.
olive didn't lie about going out to dinner with her friends. the plans finally made their way out of the groupchat and olive, frankie, caroline, and sophie booked a table at some mediocre restaurant in town. olive slightly rushed as her reservation is for 8 o'clock pm and it was currently 6:45.
she took a brisk shower, got dressed into an outfit picked the night before, and completed her makeup routine, all in enough time to make it to the restaurant at 8.
