I mean I couldn't believe it! Kiesha had died and the baby was without a mother ain't this some shit this was something I never expected to happen I hated her but I never wanted her to die. And now I'm in a house with a crying baby I do not want to be attached to a child that isn't mine she's Dave responsibility not mines.
It's been hard seeing him so sleepy and still getting up for work to provide but when I look at the baby I just feel angry...she's not mine!
Every since kiesha funeral Dave been drinking more feeling like her death was all his fault he gets up and goes to work and usually his mother keeps the baby, but this Nigga been missing in action today and his mother not answering her phone and the baby is just hollering I'm blowing up both phones and nobody is picking up! Dave really need to stop drinking feeling sorry for himself. he needs to be a father! He's been drinking tequila and acting reckless I bet that's what his ass is probably doing right now or out with his friends smoking turning up. I don't know who he thinks I am but he got the wrong one today I'm just as hurt! Man this was unexpected for his family and hers but especially for me.
The baby continued to cry... and cry she peeked her head in the room looking at her she knew her father was a emotional wreck right now and the baby really didn't have no one right now...since her mommy passed she told herself she wasn't taken care of no more babies after she had to raise her cousins because they mama was in the streets selling her body and slanging drugs. She had to pause her life to make sure they had a good future then they grew up and acted like she was nobody. she said she was done giving her life up to other peoples children! Especially ungrateful ones she got a flashback
But when she picked her up she looked in her eyes and melted suddenly she fell in love so innocent and pure oh look at those eyes and all that hair she went in the kitchen and made her a warm bottle of Infant Formula. Sat down with her in her arms feeding her the bottle and rubbing her hair gently this baby was innocent and needed a mother I don't know why tragic things happen to children and even mothers, but she lost a mother and she got me now, the crazy thing is I'm not able to have children so this is my little miracle and I will treat her as my own with Dave permission of course since this sweet angel doesn't have a mother she have me nia.
Hmmmm am I ready to raise another baby? Well no but I have no choice because she needs me and her father "Amoura Aaliyah Brewster" such a beautiful baby you are! Everything will be okay I promise she rocked her to sleep... and her phone kept vibrating it was a call from Dave mother she sent a 911 text so I immediately put the baby in her crib and called her back this couldn't be good?
"Hello?"
"Hey sweetie dave just got into a car wreck his car flipped over several times! I think he broke his legs the lady at the scene mentioned Can you go I will watch Amoura!"
"OMFG I knew something was gone happen I told him to stop dranking tequila and driving hurry please!"
She arrived to the scene the car was destroyed with pieces all over the freeway I ran to the scene to see him in the back of the ambulance on a stretcher with his leg wrapped up I was so upset I could of slapped his ass! But I was just happy he was alive! This child doesn't need anymore tragic shit happening I thought and he's the love of my life how stupid of him!
They paramedics looked at me confused and asked Dave if he knew me "yeah that's my wife".
Finally they let me ride and the backseat there was blood everywhere! Dave was alert and he looked at me with this sad expression and I held his hand and kissed it telling him it will be alright if he stop this now. He agreed he told me he was sorry then he asked about the baby, I told him she was fine and how much I loved her his eyes sparkled and my heart fluttered with love
I told him he's not alone with this he kissed my lips passionately
He frowned "Now I just gotta get you pregnant I still want my twins fuck what them doctors say"
"Hushhh, let's focus on baby girl right now and if it's in gods plane maybe——" she changed the subject to Something more serious
"I see your leg is shattered and broken!"
She looked down concerned rolling her eyes
"Yeahhh I'm lucky that's the only thing broken, everything else still work" he winked kissing her neck gently
"Yeah the way you been acting you ain't getting any," she gave a A sarcastic look
He smirked "What hahaha yeah we gone see!"
"I guess so because you ain't in charge" she laughed because she loved talking shit he just matched her energy!

The paramedic gave a beaming smile I guess Dave smile was contagious, that's good we'll y'all nice folks take care of each other we're almost there". Then he continued to take his vital signs
"Stop embarrassing me tho babe before I break the other leg" she folded her arms poking her bottom lip out

"Nope! You messed up for not listening to me if you would have you wouldn't have a broken leg!"
"I know stop telling me no! just wait until my leg get better! U ain't gone be saying no" he licked his lips pulling her by her white t shirt kissing her against her wishes she closed her eyes leaning in biting his lip and licking his lips
They arrived at the hospital
"Thank you Nia for being there for my stupid ass in my darkest moments in most importantly for being loving to my daughter I love you forever."

"I can't wait to go home and bond with my daughter that's my world"
"Yeah, we'll you got to show me you can be the loving man I know you can be and leave all that guilt in the past it's wasn't your fault you couldn't save her"
"Yeah I know I just felt bad for my daughter" his eyes trailed off in sadness
"Well she got us and your mother and dad she is loved regardless so you need to keep it together"
He smiled embracing her hugging her...
"A man needs a woman that will keep his ass in check you definitely is that baby you are someone that I need you are good for me"
"I know I been tryna tell you" she flashed a radiant smile
"Man I already knew...make sure you call moms and tell her I'm okay and to kiss my daughter for me"
"I gotcha bae...we all do now get well so we can go home"
Dave pov
I couldn't wait to go home and just be a family I know we all deal with trauma and different ways but now I have to leave it behind. None of it was my fault. I will always make sure kiesha mama is straight whatever she needs. She still our family and we all gone come together and love on my daughter. I don't want to stress out Nia anymore then she already is...It's time to man up I'm so ready to be the best dad trips to the zoo and first day of school pictures long Cuddles I was born to be a dad...
