"Were back!"
Two-bit walked into the Curtis house first, me following shortly after
I noticed Dallas was the first to look up but I thought nothing of it.
Seconds later everyone looked at my arms where the kitten was layed.
There faces lit up with grins and smiles.
After making sure the door was closed, I sat her down on the floor and gave her a few pets.
"Okay we need to think of names" I spoke, still giddy that I had a new pet
The gang all sat on the floor around us
Dally was on my right and Pony on my left.
"Blackberry" Johnny said in a questioning voice
"Hm, it's cute I like it but I wanna go for something more halloweeny" I replied
Johnny nodded in agreement and continued petting her
"Horse Yellow the second" Steve said, sending Soda a goofy look as he held back a laugh

I rolled my eyes whilst grinning but shaking my head no
"I'll try and think of something later or if any of you think of something then tell me"
I stood, walking over to the faucet to get her some water.
Everyone else stayed in the living room playing with the kitten.
I heard footsteps behind me but didn't think much of it.
As I was filling a bowl of water, Dallas walked over and leaned against the counter besides me
I flashed a little smile and continued to fill the water bowl
Moments later he spoke up.
"Midnight." He spoke.
I looked over and gave a little confused look
"What..?" I trailed off a bit confused.
I turned off the faucet and set it on the counter and cleaned against it.
I looked at Dallas' big brown eyes, waiting for an answer
"Midnight, you should name her that." He replied motioning to the kitten in the living room
I let out a little "oh" sound in reply and nodded
"That's a cute name" I smiled up at him
He nodded his head in agreement
"I know, it's why I recommended it" he grinned
I grinned back and shook my head in amusement.
I grabbed the water bowl and put it on the floor before walking back into the living room.
"Her name is now Midnight."

Short chapter since I haven't had motivation. I kinda wanted to stop writing this but I'll keep doing it for u guys!! Also again for the millionth time sorry about not updating alot, I have writer's block still and I'm sick at the moment too but I hope you guys have a good day ily!! -sarah
